《TMNT Dimensions (completed)》Chapter 16: Backwards, part 14

Sweat began pouring down Menacing Mike's face. Last time he had sparred with Master, he had broken his nose, a few ribs, and his knee cap. Master made him spar a lot because he was such an idiot. He knew his brothers had been thinking the same thing. Master did too. But because Menacing Mike had been the one to open his big mouth, he was being punished.
Loathing Leonardo, Menacing Mike's brother, stepped up to stand between Menacing Mike and Master.
"On your mark, get set, PUNCH!" Loathing Leonardo shouted.
Menacing Mike threw a punch as quick and hard as he could, but Master caught his fist, and pulled it back, jerking Menacing Mike forward, until his face hit the cold, hard concrete.
-**********************************-
Our friends watched, horrified, as poor Menacing Mike was nearly beat to a pulp. Bree had her paper bag back, and was breathing as quietly as she could.
Finally, Splinter stopped. "Do you still wish to oppose me, Teenage Human Ninjas?" He looked up at the rafters, and Bree found that, under his gaze, not even the paper bag helped with her anxiety and fear.
Miwa looked all her new friends in the eye. "He only wants us." She said. "You guys stay here. Don't follow us." She signaled to her sisters, and they leapt from the beam, landing gracefully on their feet like cats.
"Did you enjoy my demonstration?" Splinter asked, gesturing to Menacing Mike's battered, unconscious form.
"Not at all." Rocky said, before lunging at him, sias pointed at his chest. Splinter dogged effortlessly, of course, and elbowed her in the back of the head. She hit the ground unconscious. Miwa's grip tightened on her wakizashi blade. Her nostrils flared.
Bree turned to her friends. "Their not gonna win this on their own." She said. She knew the turtles would argue, so she jumped before they could, and before her doubt could talk her out of it. She didn't land as gracefully as the Teenage Human Ninja's had, but she didn't die, so that was a plus.

She glanced at Splinter's minions, who were still sitting off to the side awaiting orders, and her blood ran cold. They were huge, with broad shoulders. Their arms were covered in green turtle tattoos. Each henchmen had what looked like a turtle shell strapped to their backs, which was all they wore on their torso. On each chest, a name had been tattooed. One with spiky red hair was named Rage, another with floppy brown hair was named Don-a-kill-you, and we already know Loathing Leonardo, who had short, dark brown hair, and Menacing Mike, who had blond hair. And each boy had dozens of scars. Non more so than poor Menacing Mike.
The turtles landed beside her, eyes gleaming white, and forms silhouetted.
"I see you have new allies." Splinter smirked. "Not that they will help you." He lunged at Miwa. She was so surprised that he knocked her sword from her grasp, and they began grappling in an intense round of hand-to-hand combat.
When Splinter had charged, so had his henchmen.

So it turns out I'm tiny in another world…
After meeting with a horrible fate on an otherwise typical Martian day, Tsukino Sachiko finds herself stranded with only a surprisingly unremarkable alien for company. Join her as she battles giant monsters, strange locals, and feelings of insignificance in the hopes she might one day return to a world that makes sense. AN: This story is an attempt to overcome insecurity regarding the quality of my writing by practicing with intentional schlock. "Just write," as the advice goes. While it may not be masterfully plotted, the subject matter is one close to my heart and one that I endeavor to explore in a new light. After all, who ever heard of the fairy sidekick being an isekai protagonist? Cover image © Vanish under the terms of the CC BY-ND 2.0 license.

The Underbelly
There's something wrong with Port City. In the aftermath of the Hyde Park massacre, the city increased its police force dramatically, and Wyatt Milter found himself in uniform, with a gun, a badge, and dreams of someday making detective, but with no clue how to actually make it happen. These days a new, ugly kind of violence is rising on the streets. As a bizarre group of characters emerges from Port City's underbelly, Wyatt will be forced into making a difficult decision. Will he remain a cop? Or will he serve a different kind of justice? (Author's Note: I started writing this about 10 years ago and only now got around to the idea of uploading it. As a result, much of this predates the rising popularity of the Green Arrow. I'm uploading as is, but future drafts will make minor alterations to the character to differentiate it.)

Re-Ordaining of the Chosen
Alea cheerfully hummed as she descended the steps, brimming in upbeat while her colleague, Quarren Leos, shot her a look of skepticism. “So… were you right about him?” he asked doubtfully. She came to a stop for a moment, her humming falling silent before she shook her head, waving her medium length light-blonde hair from side to side. “I was wrong about him.” Quarren raised an eyebrow in confusion at the convoluted response.“But you seem quite happy?” he asked again. “Because I am. But I was wrong about him. He was… so much more than I ever expected.” Alea looked at the sky overhead with a smile. “That boy… no, that man, is amazing. I firmly believe he will come to stand on top of any adversary he faces. He is destined. He is Chosen.” Quarren snorted as he stepped past, shaking his head. “Okay. Each to their own beliefs but you’re sounding like a nutjob. That skinny twig? Everyone calls him a cripple, you know,” he shook his head.“Rumours are always false, Leos,” Alea answered with a disapproving shake of her head. “You wouldn’t know. He is so, so much more.” “I saw him with my own two eyes. I didn’t see anything redeeming,” Quarren rebutted. “Well…” Alea chuckled. “You haven’t seen what I’ve seen.” In the year 917 of the Imperial Calendar, the Great War had just ended between dozens of nations. Farrien welcomed home millions of troops and warriors with the Archdukes of Aerianne and Kanaria leading them at the forefront. Since the founding of Farrien, the Aerianne and Kanarian Archduchies have been pillars upholding the Kingdom from enemies. It was common belief that they possessed special blood blessed by the Goddess Stecia, who gifted the lineage to the first King of Farrien when he first founded the country. All were ecstatic when the current generation of the two Archduchy's, after the war, agreed to let their children wed. The excitement was short-lived however when the Aerianne Princess proved to be a dragoness among men but the Kanarian Prince was worse than even mediocre. The Prince disappeared and the wedding was shortly forgotten as society lived on. Until one day the Young Heir of Kanaria returned to Farrien a changed man, bringing demise with him. Follow the story of the Chosen ordained by the Goddess of Time as he returns to the past to right his wrongs and set things back straight again!
