Dick and Wally sit in a booth at Big Belly Burger. They're given a few funny looks, but they both pass it off, saying it's probably because Wally's got four burgers, two large fries and a large soda. Dick, on the other hand just has chicken nuggets, fries and a drink.

"So..." Wally begins, after practically inhaling a fist of fries, "How does this work?"

"What do you mean?"

"The.." Wally whispers, "Dating thing."

"You don't have to whisper, Wally. The place is noisy. Plus, like I said it's 2018 man. What do you mean how does the dating thing work?"

"Like..who opens the doors for who?" Wally asks, taking a massive bite out of his second burger.

Dick laughs, putting his palm up to his face, "Oh my god Wally."

"Is that not a valid question? Not my fault my parents were homophobes man," Wally huffs, eating with his mouth half full. Dick was so used to seeing him eating it didn't seem gross when Wally did it.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. But really? It doesn't matter Wally, we just both do things like that."

"Oh. Have you ever gone out with another guy before and didn't tell me?" The redhead asks.

"...Well, no. Just sex really. But it's the same thing, right? We take turns."

"So. We split the bill then?"

"Well you don't really have any sort of income so that's not very fair in this situation," Dick says, ever the voice of reason.

"I eat a lot though."

"We don't have to go out for food. Besides, it doesn't bother me," Dick shrugs.

"Richard. Gotcha. Your double inheritance."

They eat in comfortable silence, Dick rather daintily eating his fries while Wally scoffs everything like its his last meal. Wally's phone starts ringing and he pulls it out of his pocket. Barry's name is showing.

"Shit, my fingers are all greasy," Wally hisses.

"I'll answer it while you get napkins," Dick says, picking it up and swiping the screen.

"Hey, Barry. It's Dick. Wally's with me."

"Good, you?" Dick replies. His mind is wandering to the fact he had sex with Barry's nephew only an hour ago. No no no don't do that.

"Yeah, I do."

Wally returns to the table with napkins and no longer greasy hands. His green eyes stare at Dick as he's on the phone with his Uncle.

"Well fed and watered. He's being taken care of, Barry. Here, I'll hand you over to him, his fingers aren't greasy anymore."

"You too," Dick finally passes Wally the phone. Wally greets Barry, a big grin on his face.

"Hey Barry, how's it going?"

"I've had a pretty good day actually," Wally says, making eye contact with Dick across the booth, "I'm glad you and Iris are doing good. Are you free any day? I could run down to Central for a visit."

Barry apologises. Wally's face falls.

"Oh, right. Okay," he says nodding, "How's my cousin?"

"Well I mean, if he's free on Saturday tell him to head over to New York. I'd like to get to know the kid some more."

"Yeah. Bye."

Wally sighs and slips his phone back into his pocket, "Is it okay for the kid to come to the tower on Saturday boss?"

Dick chuckles, "Sure. But please don't call me boss. It makes me feel old," Despite the fact that he's the younger one.

"You don't know the meaning of old, man.." Wally says with a laugh, shaking his head, "You know who I wanted to tell first about us?"

"Iris?"

Wally sighs, "Yeah...but I can't face her not remembering me. Not yet. Not after Linda. But...I think she would have been good with it."

"Oh definitely. I'm pretty sure she had me figured out the whole time, knowing her. Probably knew before I knew myself," Dick says with a smile.

Iris would totally be cool with it. Iris took 'cool aunt' to a whole other level. Whenever Dick used to visit Wally at her place in Central City she always made great food and shitty jokes that Wally hated and Dick loved. After his parents died and he became Robin, Iris was the first closest thing Dick had to a mom...after Alfred of course. She and Wally were very close and it's awful that he no longer has that.

"I uh, haven't really talked to Bruce yet. He's the greatest detective in the world so maybe he does know already, but he's shitty at feelings stuff," Dick says, looking down at his last chicken nugget.

"He is shitty at feelings stuff. What about Alfred? I mean he's old, but he's a cool old guy," Wally asks.

"Yeah, Alfred knows. Barbara knows. I told Donna too. Jason knows, because apparently he's bi too. I'm like 85 per cent sure Tim is gay, but until he actually tells me I can't really say much in case I'm wrong. Catwoman is bi, but her eyes are solely on Bruce. Batwoman is gay."

"Dude..is anyone in the Batfamily straight?" Wally says with a laugh.

"Well there's Bruce, Alfred, Signal, Spoiler, Batgirl, and maybe Tim."

"Now I think of it I'm getting some flashes of memories from my timeline. Tim is gay," Wally tells him, "Bart - Barry's grandson from the future, long story - was telling me one time that Tim an Superboy were making mushy eyes at each other all the time."

"Superboy? Jon is ten," Dick frowns, raising a black eyebrow.

"Um, another long story. Different superboy. Cool kid, Tim's age. Anyways I'm pretty sure they had a thing..." Wally shrugs.

"You have to tell me about this other timeline. It sounds awesome."

"Hitting the age of thirty-four isn't awesome man. You have no idea what it's like to suddenly be in my mid twenties again," Wally jokes, then sighs, "But yeah..there is things...and people that I miss about my old timeline. I'm just not ready to talk about certain things yet."

Wally thinks about his life with Linda and their kids. The twins, Jay and Irey. He missed them so much, and it broke his heart thinking he'd never get the chance to see them again. He hasn't told anyone yet. Roy isn't a dad anymore either. He used to have Lian, but know doesn't even remember her.

"Sure. I understand," Dick nods, knowing it might take some time. He knew Wally was heartbroken over Linda and while it had gotten better, he was still mending. You don't get over that quickly. If Dick was thrown back ten years ago with random people missing from his life he'd feel shitty too.

"We should probably head back to the tower, the others will be wondering where we got to," Dick says, looking at the time on his watch. He was the only person on the team who still wore one. He'd gotten it for his 18th from Bruce. Even 'adorably old school' Wally as Dick had once said, had gotten into checking the time on his phone.

"Good idea," Wally nods. They had snuck out of the tower and hadn't seen the rest of the others since they had all gone their separate ways in pairs, "Everyone is probably over the pollen know. I'm surprised it lasted so long on me. Must be some pretty strong stuff."

"Nah that wasn't her strongest," Dick says casually as they're getting up from their seats.

"No? Really? How'd you know?" Wally asks with raised eyebrows.

"Wally I've been whammied with that stuff several times since I was a teenager. I think I'd know. One time it even made me look at Bruce differently...It was pretty horrifying..." Dick says, then shivers, "I legged it as far away as possible."

"Oh. Damn," Wally whispers with a frown as they leave the fast food restaurant, "I remember you going all weird and quiet for a few weeks when you were about sixteen. You hardly spoke a word to Roy and myself. I'm guessing that was why."

"Yeah...you remember that?"

"Of course I do. I know when things are up with you, but you never gave me the opportunity to ask."

"I didn't say anything because was pretty disgusted with myself. Up until that point I had been denying to myself that I liked guys. I guess I was also kind of afraid of the reaction I'd receive," Dick says, looking down at the gum spotted footpath.

"It's okay man. It was Ivy's fault, not yours. Besides, Bruce isn't exactly ugly," Wally puts his arm around the shorter man's shoulders as they turn onto a narrow empty gap between buildings.

"No. He's not, but I don't see him like that. It's too weird."

"Me neither. I'm still terrified of the guy and you know it," Wally laughs, swooping Dick up into his arms bridal style like it was nothing. Dick, because he could not fly or run at superhuman speed, tended to get carried around a lot, usually by Wally. It wasn't abnormal to them, but it was somewhat different now. A good different.

Dick laughs too, wrapping his arms around the speedsters neck, "Yeah."

"Ready?" Wally asks, placing his feet in position to run.

Dick kisses Wally's cheek then says, "Yeah. Let's go."

The speedster takes off at an amazing pace and they're back in the tower in about five seconds, standing in the corridor on their floor. Wally lets Dick down onto his feet and asks, "You good?"

He swallows and replies, "I'm not gonna get sick. I think."

Wally frowns, "Sure?"

"Yeah. I'm good," Dick says, then takes a deep breath.

"The others are probably in the living room. But um...let's not..." Wally's voice fades away awkwardly. Dick tilts his head.

"Go down there at the same time? You go ahead, I'll wait here for a few minutes, okay?" Dick suggests, then starts walking towards his room. Wally watches him, noticing the slight hitch in his step.

"Dick?"

The raven haired man stops at his door and turns back with a little smile, "Yeah?"

"Did I...hurt you?"

"No, I'm fine. It's just been a while," Dick assures him. Wally is a little skeptical but decides to take his word on it. Dick always played down his pain. The man could be dying and he'd still try to keep fighting. As tough as Dick is, he's only human. He doesn't have rapid healing or the speed force protecting him like Wally does.

"See you in a few minutes then."

Wally takes the lift down to the floor where the living room and kitchen was located. He strolls into the living area, pretending to not notice the eyes on him. The redhead flops down on onto one of the couches with a simple, "Hey guys."

When nobody replies Wally gives a nervous laugh and says, "I know the whole Poison Ivy thing was awkward but I see you guys have helped each other out."

Everyone is still staring at him and Wally furrows his eyebrows, "You guys are starting to freak me out."

"Sorry Wally, just sort of wondering where Dick is," Donna finally says.

"Dick is used to being whammied by Poison Ivy, he probably just went and took care of it himself," Wally says, shrugging.

The other Titans exchange glances. Dick finally walks in then, making his way over to the rest of the team, "Everyone good? There wasn't really time for me to do a mission debrief, so seeing as everyone is here I might as well do it now."

Roy groans, "Do we really need to man? We went out, fought Ivy in Central Park, she whammied us with the pollen stuff and we all went and fucked each other like rabbits. End of."

Dick's mouth falls open for a moment, then closes again. He coughs and says, "Alright then. I'm going to try get some antidote vials from Batman in case this happens again."

"Aw, really? That was kind of fun, right guys?" Roy says, earning an elbow from Donna. Dick sits down next to Wally. Close to him, but not too close.

"It's fun when you have someone to help you out. Not so much when you don't," Dick tells Roy, crossing his arms and leaning back on the couch. He then adds, "Right Wally?"

"Torture."

Everyone goes quiet again. Dick can't help noticing the little smirk growing on Roy's face. Garth rubs his left arm and coughs, "I'm starting to dry out a bit. I'm going to go soak a while."

There isn't anything unusual about Garth having to go..moisturise. He's an Atlantean after all, if he didn't he'd dry up like a fish on land. When they were kids Roy teased him endlessly about it, making mermaid jokes and the like. Garth learned to ignore it. However, this time it just sounds like an excuse to get out of there.

Lilith nods as he gets up. She doesn't even have to read his mind to know it's an excuse. As Garth leaves, Roy's little smirk is now a full blown Cheshire Cat's grin, eyes fixed on Dick and Wally.

"Hey Dick," the redhead says, "I should probably let you know, I had sex with your ex."

"Which one?" Lilith, Donna and Wally all ask in sync, for the list was pretty long.

"Kory."

"Um, okay. Good for you, Roy."

"And," Roy adds, "Your brother."

Dick and Roy are staring at each other, Dick's eyes icy. Wally's green eyes are blown wide in shock. Donna's jaw is clenched, as if she's going to blow a fuse if Roy opens his mouth again. Lilith is covering her face with her hands.

"It was Jason, obviously. You know I'd never go near the other two. I'm just telling you, so you know I don't care that you and Wally did it," Roy says, still grinning as he stands up, "Bye."

Roy then makes a run for it, leaping over the couches and dashing out.

"Harper!" Donna yells, promptly getting to her feet. She turns to Dick and Wally, "I'm so sorry. Garth went to check on you guys and we agreed to let you tell us in your own time...I'm going to kill him."

The Amazonian storms after Roy, almost flying out the door, which is possible.

Wally leans down and groans into his hands, "So much for taking it slow."

"Well, taking things slow never really was your thing," Dick pats Wally on the back.

Lilith coughs, "Uh, sorry guys. You have our support, one hundred percent."

Dick smiles at her, "Thanks Lilith."

"Are you guys hungry? We could order pizza."

"We already-" Dick starts but he's interrupted by Wally saying, "Sure."

Lilith and Dick chuckle. Wally will always be Wally.
