As Aquila descended from the stairs, she saw Edward standing away from Bella.
"Hey." Aquila said as she walked towards Edward and kissed his cheeks, ignoring her glaring cousin.
"Hello beautiful. Are you ready?" Edward asked.
"Where are the two of you going?" Bella asked. "Does Charlie knows about this?"
"We're heading out to the field to play a game." Edward answered. He's trying to be as civil as he can.
"Edward already asked for his permission yesterday." Aquila added. She gently tugged Edward to direct him outside the house. But Bella blocked their path.
"Can I go with you?" She asked with fake politeness and puppy eyes that didn't do anything to convince anyone.
"No. You haven't told Uncle C and this plan has nothing to do with you." Aquila said firmly.
The two walked out of the house and proceeded to drive towards their destination without giving Bella a choice to say no. They borrowed Emmett's jeep for the occasion. When they arrived at the clearing, Edward helped Aquila down and put his baseball hat on her. Aquila thanked him through a kiss on the cheek.
What they didn't expect was someone following them...
"HEY LITTLE WITCH! DON'T STEAL MY WIFE!" Emmet yelled from across the field which made Aquila stick her tongue out towards the bulky baby.
"I'll avenge my Rose. Can I hit the ball while Rose run for me?" Aquila asked Esme which shocked the family.
Emmett thought this was one of the perfect opportunities to get revenge towards Aquila. "Yeah sure. If you can hit the ball." He said cockily.
"I wouldn't be too sure, Emmett. She's supposed to be a quidditch beater." Edward grumbled, a little jealous that his mate wanted to avenge his adopted sister instead of cheering for him.
None of them noticed Bella Swan watching them from afar.
You might be asking why they never noticed her, it was simple. When Aquila found out Bella is a vampire's blood singer, she cast a spell to make her heartbeat inaudible for vampire hearing and another spell to make her blood become odorless for vampire's sense of smell. It was a trick Dumbledore taught her before they meet the Volturi kings.
Back to the Swan hidden in the woods, she couldn't believe what she saw. They were fast, blurs to be exact. They're strong, too strong. Then she remembered the weird book she didn't know she possessed. She read something about cold ones from Quileut legends. Then it hit her. The Cullens are vampires. But why are they hanging out with Aquila? Her cousins clearly knows. But how long has it been since she knew? Why would they tell her and let her hang around them?

Her questions were answered when three more vampires appeared from the opposite side Bella was standing onto. Three vampires with burgundy eyes.
"I believe this belongs to you." The vampire said as he tossed the ball towards Carlisle who caught it easily.
"Of course," Carlisle smiled at them politely. "Thank you."
Aquila relaxed after seeing the lack of mark in the dark skinned vampire's arms. Edward squeezed her hand gently to reassure her. He tried to block the Nomad's view of Aquila.
"I'm Laurent. This is Victoria and James." He said, looking at his companions. "Could you like three more players?"
"I'm afraid your hunting activities have caused some of a mess for us." Carlisle responded.
"Our apologies. We didn't realize the territory had been claimed." Laurent apologized.
"Yes. We maintain a permanent residence nearby." Carlisle informed them which surprised the Nomads.
They apologies and assured them they wouldn't be a problem anymore. Victoria told them how they'd be safe because they already led the trackers east. Carlisle thanked them and offered if they want to bat first. Victoria said she's the one with the wicked curve ball. Jasper said they'll see about that, challenging them.
But then, Aquila thinks Harry had been rubbing off of her because the wind began to blow, ruffling her hair and carrying her scent. James' eyes snapped towards her still covered form. He crouched as his nostrils flared as his eyes locked at Aquila's figure.
"You brought a snack." James smiled menacingly.
Bella had no idea what was happening. But she saw how their interaction became more hostile. She tried to think of a way to get out of the situation. But she know she should not run. If she does, they'll hear her. She doesn't want to die. So she did what she thought was best. She stayed still and watch, hoping that they would stay away from her position.
"I think it's best if you leave." Carlisle suggested.
"Yes. I can see the game is over. We'll go now." Laurent said then sped away.
Jasper and Edward smiled proudly, sensing and reading the fear of the other vampires. But James and Victoria remained standing.
"My my. The dark lord will reward us if we give you back to him." James said, letting his and Victoria's dark mark show.
"Unfortunately, I cannot let you bring unnecessary attention in this town." Aquila said, bringing her wand out.
"What are you gonna do, little princess? Stun me?" Victoria taunted.
"Being raised as a pureblood and a Black has its perks, dear." With some wand swishes, Aquila created a protective dome upon the Cullens. "And growing up with defense against the dark arts as a school subject can come in very handy." Aquila said and smirked.

The infamous Black smirk, a window towards their well known Black madness. It's as if something took over Aquila. Something without remorse. Something who wouldn't think twice before killing. Something sadistic, sociopathic and dangerous.
"Petrificus Totalus." Aquila whispered as her wand pointed at James.
"Let him go!" Victoria snarled as she tried to lunge at Aquila. Edward wanted to intervene and protect the Black witch but neither him or his family can get out of the dome Aquila created. With a flick of Aquila's wrist, Victoria was sent flying inside the forest.
To say that Bella was shocked was an understatement. How the hell did her cousin do that? Who is her cousin? Is she a witch? If she is, which is very possible, then maybe she is controlling Edward to be hers. Maybe she spelled him or made him drink a love potion. The thought made Bella furious. She could've been with Edward! It truly is supposed to be her but her cousin's witch intervention made her lose her chance.
Aquila unfreezed James. Then she turned into a white smoke, appearing behind him. He tried to speed towards her direction but she was gone in a pop, appearing a little further in his right. He tried to catch her again but she popped away. She toyed with him as he visciously growled in frustration.
"Enough! Face me, you little bitch!"
"Your wish is my command." She whispered from behind him. He was about to face her when she appeared a few meters in front of him. She pointed her wand at him and whispered a curse that made James want to run away. "Fiendfyre."
Huge flames erupted from the tip of her wand as it formed into a lion as big as a house. The lion knelt from Aquila's side as it awaits his mistress' orders. "Burn him." His mistress whispered. And after one loud roar, the lion made of fire engulfed the vampire without remorse. A brief shout of pain was heard before he turned into ashes. Then the lion made of flame disappeared.
Bella's opinion was solidified. Aquila is a monster. She is a murderer, an abomination. She just killed someone. She used her magic to kill someone and it didn't settle well with Bella.
'How can everyone love her? She isn't perfect at all! She's a freak!"
Bella thought as she walked back home after the Cullens left the field.
"Aquila this. Aquila that. Charlie loves her more. Even Jessica wants to please her now. She have vampires around her. She has powers. Her father's family is super rich. Her mother's real family is super rich too. She's smart. She's beautiful. Why is she so lucky? Why is her life so perfect? Edward might turn her into a vampire and soon she'll be immortal, young and forever beautiful. I hate her. I hate her so much! I wish she'd just disappear!" Bella whined as she trekked down the path. She screamed in frustration, shouting how much she hates Aquila and how much she wanted her gone.
She was unaware of the red haired girl observing her from a distance with an amused smile. This human hated the Black witch with so much passion. Victoria knows she could use this entitled brat to bring Aquila Black down.
With Bella's continuous rant, Victoria got the informations she needed. Edward is Aquila's boyfriend. Aquila is Bella's cousin. Bella wants everything that Aquila has. Bella wanted Edward. Victoria and Bella both wanted Aquila to disappear from the face of the earth.
Bella was still ranting and cursing her oh so perfect cousin when a gust of wind blew pass her. She turned to look at the direction of the wind. Then her eyes widened as she saw the vampire that Aquila threw onto the forest.
"Hello. My name is Victoria. What's yours?"
"B-bella. Bella Swan." She stuttered. She was afraid of this creature in front of her. Victoria can end her life in any minute.
"Bella. Well I heard you hate Aquila. I hate her too. She killed my mate." Victoria said with faux sadness which disappeared not a minute later. "But then I heard you wanted her gone. I mean the enemy of my enemy is my friend. So what do you say Miss Swan? Would you like to help me bring little miss witch bitch down?" She asked with a devilish smirk, which Bella returned.
"Can you turn me into a vampire too?"
"All in good time, Bella. Aquila Black is a powerful witch. We'll need more comrades if we want to take her down." Victoria said as she played with Bella's hair.
"Will you harm the Cullens?" Bella asked. She didn't want them to be hurt. She just want Aquila gone so she could be their favorite girl.
"No. They didn't do anything to me. But I will not be lenient if they try to intervene. For now, you must lay low. I will gather an army that will help us kill the Heiress Black."
And with that, a dangerous alliance was formed.

8 485The Traveller from Afar
Lucas didn't know what he wanted, but it certainly wasn’t to get dragged into the middle of a another world. Too bad for him the universe had different plans and now he has to deal with the consequences of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. At least it isn't all bad, he gets to finally make use of those cooking lessons he was dragged into. Chapters 1-4 are kind of like a prologue, they are self contained and only give some background information for the rest of the story.*********This is my first attempt trying to write any type of longer form story so I have no idea if any thing I produce will be readable, I've tried to make sure I have a decent level of grammar and there are no spelling mistakes, but if you do find any please let me know. I am also from the home of tea and crumpets (the uk) so if there are some u's and s's your not used to seeing thats probably it. Uh I dont really know what else to put in a story description so just give it a shot and let me know what you think, any pointers would be greatly appeciated.
8 170The Princess And Her Warmonger
"Let me tell you a true story about a mouse and a Warmonger, and the unlikely relationship that sprouted between them in the time of endless war." Nostalisk is a world in endless constant war. The Factions of this world endlessly fight for power, this fighting called the Great Wars, a war that has been alive for over four million years. Currently, one of the largest Factions has withdrawn from the endless fighting. This Faction, known as the Kingdom, hopes to forget their past of endless bloodshed and how they were almost destroyed because of it. In the Kingdom, Princess Isalene, the only princess of the Kingdom, is stuck choosing a new personal guard after her previous one died. Despite her father, King Robert, helping her choose a new guard, Isalene decides to head to the arena to see how the knights on the list her father gave her act outside of the eyes of royals. When she arrives at the arena, she sees a knight fighting that is not on the list her father gave her. Named Cruel Knight, this knight is a vicious knight with confusing morals. Despite hating violence, Princess Isalene can't help but be drawn to the knight and their graceful yet cruel fighting style and strange weapons. Princess Isalene continues to watch them and soon learns that Cruel Knight is a Warmonger named Sharia, and is female at that, meaning she is a prisoner. She isn't in there for something simple as disobeying a direct order or killing a noble, but for prolonging a war. Despite knowing this, Princess Isalene can't stop thinking about the Warmonger and suddenly gets a "smart" idea. She'll make Sharia her new personal guard to find out more about her! What could go wrong? And so begins the odd relationship between Sharia The Warmonger and Princess Isalene. One is a peace-loving sheltered naive princess who hates violence and the other is a vicious, cold, twisted, and cruel Warmonger who hates the kind of peace Isalene and the current Kingdom loves. Polar opposites. Yet, even the Warmonger can't help but grow a strange liking to her new "annoyance". But, can the two really get along? After all, Sharia's whole mindset sees Isalene as a waste, and it seems that everyone Isalene talks to tells her to fire Sharia before something terrible happens. But, then again, during this time of budding danger, this odd couple may be what the Kingdom needs. After all, when a large faction such as the Kingdom starts growing soft and weak, they become a rather irresistible target. [After thinking on it, I decided to start a re-write of The Princess And Her Warmonger, adding more details, fixing the switching POVs somewhat, and fixing some of the issues with the story. Don't worry, all of the chapters are still here, I am just making new ones and replacing the old chapters one at a time] (This story can also be found on Scribble Hub and Webnovel) [Cover art is not mine]
