As Aquila descended from the stairs, she saw Edward standing away from Bella.
"Hey." Aquila said as she walked towards Edward and kissed his cheeks, ignoring her glaring cousin.
"Hello beautiful. Are you ready?" Edward asked.
"Where are the two of you going?" Bella asked. "Does Charlie knows about this?"
"We're heading out to the field to play a game." Edward answered. He's trying to be as civil as he can.
"Edward already asked for his permission yesterday." Aquila added. She gently tugged Edward to direct him outside the house. But Bella blocked their path.
"Can I go with you?" She asked with fake politeness and puppy eyes that didn't do anything to convince anyone.
"No. You haven't told Uncle C and this plan has nothing to do with you." Aquila said firmly.
The two walked out of the house and proceeded to drive towards their destination without giving Bella a choice to say no. They borrowed Emmett's jeep for the occasion. When they arrived at the clearing, Edward helped Aquila down and put his baseball hat on her. Aquila thanked him through a kiss on the cheek.
Stormclouds gathered in the sky as the courting couple approached the family. Esme and Emmett approached Aquila and Edward with a smile. Emmett scooped Aquila and spun her around before setting her down. Esme was the one who hugged her next. Jasper and Alice who were 'warming up' sent Aquila and Edward a wave while Rosalie and Carlisle sent them a smile while trying to swing the bats.
"Good thing you're here. We need an umpire," Esme said, pulling Aquila close to her.
"She thinks we cheat." Emmett said with a huge mischievous grin in his face.
"I know you cheat." Esme scolded her son.
"Don't worry Momma Cullen, there would be a penalty for cheaters." Aquila winked at Esme.
"I give you permission to hex my husband, Callie." Rosalie said to the girl which made Emmett grunt and Aquila sent the beautiful blonde a flying kiss. Rosalie motioned to catch it.
"Call 'em as you see 'em kids." Esme said.
"It's time." Alice announced as a loud rumble of thunder shook the forest.
And the games began.
Alice pitched with lightning speed. The ball goes as fast as the snitch in quidditch. Edward and Emmett took position in the outer fields. Rosalie hit the ball in full force with an aluminum bat and the sound that the forces made was mixed with the real thunder.

"Now I get why why you need the thunder." Aquila told Esme. "Next time we can play baseball even without thunder storms. I could just cast a silencing spell or a soundless charm." Aquila told Esme.
Esme gave the girl a kiss in her temple and a warm smile. "That's so thoughtful of you dear."
"That's a homerun right?" Aquila asked.
"The ball's fast, but Edward is very fast." Esme replied.
Rosalie was a blur as she darted around the diamond bases. Edward ran after the ball inside the forest and threw it back towards the home plate. Rosalie slided on the plate a millisecond too late.
"Yer out?" Aquila said with a pout. Esme nodded and Rosalie chuckled at Aquila's face. Rosalie got up and kissed Aquila's cheeks to tell her that she's fine.
"HEY LITTLE WITCH! DON'T STEAL MY WIFE!" Emmet yelled from across the field which made Aquila stick her tongue out towards the bulky baby.
"I'll avenge my Rose. Can I hit the ball while Rose run for me?" Aquila asked Esme which shocked the family.
Emmett thought this was one of the perfect opportunities to get revenge towards Aquila. "Yeah sure. If you can hit the ball." He said cockily.
"I wouldn't be too sure, Emmett. She's supposed to be a quidditch beater." Edward grumbled, a little jealous that his mate wanted to avenge his adopted sister instead of cheering for him.
It was true. Aquila inherited her father's beater skills in quidditch but she chose to be a chaser because the Weasley Twins are better at understanding each other. Nonetheless, Aquila was one of the best chaser Hogwarts ever had. Before the war broke out, she was even invited to play with Oliver Woods in Puddlemere United and a separate invite to play for Hollyhead Harpies.
Rosalie smirked and handed Aquila her bat. Aquila twirled the bat on her hands trying to get used into its weight. She copied Rosalie's position earlier.
"Don't hold back on me, Ali." Aquila winked at the pixie haired vampire.
Alice nodded and threw the ball without holding back. Emmett was frozen while the others are shocked after she effortlessly hit the ball with full force, stronger than Rosalie's hit. Rosalie took it as her que to run. Edward and Emmett snapoed out of their shock and ran after the ball but it was too late. Rosalie already reached the home plate the moment they got a hold on the ball. Alice laughed at Emmett's expression wile Rosalie and Aquila shared a high five.

The family continued playing for more rounds. Edward guilt tripped Aquila to bat for his team too which the witch agreed as Edward would run for her. Aquila squealed when Edward reached the home plate and spun her around. All was happy and we'll until Alice froze in her spot.
"Stop!" Alice cried out.
"What was it, Ali?" Aquila asked concerned for her friend.
"I didn't see them..." Alice replied. Edward sped towards Aquila's side. "They're traveling so quickly."
"You said they left the country." Rosalie confusedly stated. She's worried for her new sister's safety.
"They did, but they heard us... And changed their minds." Alice answered.
"Put your hair down." Edward informed which Aquila followed.
"It won't help. I could smell her from across the field. They can smell her." Rosalie reminded which made Edward growl lowly in frustration.
Then it dawned on Aquila. Nomads. She stiffened by that thought. The Volturi might have declared vampires' neutrality but not every vampire follows the Volturi. Some had already pledged their loyalty to the dark lord. She'd seen a couple of them before. Aquila took a deep breath and faced the family.
"I have to ask you something very important. If these vampires have a mark I'd recognize, let me kill them. Do not hold me back." Aquila said fearlessly. She's from the house of courage. She isn't a coward.
"What?" Rosalie asked. Everyone was surprised at the girl's declaration.
"The wizarding world is currently at war and a lot of supernatural creatures have been recruited by the dark side. If a wizard or witch is marked by the dark lord, they automatically become his slave. Witches and wizards can keep their free will still. But supernatural creatures become sired to the dark lord. They would do anything to please him even if it means killing innocent people. A werewolf named Fenrir Greyback turned other children into wolves and kill their families because it's what the dark lord wanted him to do. Their sense of humanity is already taken away from them. So if they are marked, let me kill them." Aquila explained. The Cullens reluctantly nodded at the girl. "I will explain to you further once we get home. I promise I will."
A few moments later, faint rustles were heard from the forest. The Cullens and Aquila's head turned towards the edge of the forest where three vampires with deep red eyes and bare feet emerged. The only woman who possessed a fiery red hair, redder than Ginny's, was wearing Waylon Forge's shirt. The blonde man next to her was wearing Waylon's jacket. The vampire with dark skin and dread that was walking in the middle, a few steps ahead of them, held up the baseball.
"I believe this belongs to you." The vampire said as he tossed the ball towards Carlisle who caught it easily.
"Of course," Carlisle smiled at them politely. "Thank you."
Aquila relaxed after seeing the lack of mark in the dark skinned vampire's arms. Edward squeezed her hand gently to reassure her. He tried to block the Nomad's view of Aquila.
"I'm Laurent. This is Victoria and James." He said, looking at his companions. "Could you like three more players?"
"I'm afraid your hunting activities have caused some of a mess for us." Carlisle responded.
"Our apologies. We didn't realize the territory had been claimed." Laurent apologized.
"Yes. We maintain a permanent residence nearby." Carlisle informed them which surprised the Nomads.
They apologies and assured them they wouldn't be a problem anymore. Victoria told them how they'd be safe because they already led the trackers east. Carlisle thanked them and offered if they want to bat first. Victoria said she's the one with the wicked curve ball. Jasper said they'll see about that, challenging them.
But then, Aquila thinks Harry had been rubbing off of her because the wind began to blow, ruffling her hair and carrying her scent. James' eyes snapped towards her still covered form. He crouched as his nostrils flared as his eyes locked at Aquila's figure.
"You brought a snack." James smiled menacingly.
Then, Aquila saw the mark on his left arm. This fueled her courage as she stood in front of Edward, getting out of his cover.
"Mistress Black..." Laurent whispered in amusement after seeing Aquila's face.

I don't know why but my head is going on a frenzy when writing parts of this story and I can't stop. I am excited for the next part and chapters too. I'm already writing the last three chapters of the first part.
