The double door bursted open as revealing a very worried Charlie with a bored Bella trailing behind him. He spotted Aquila laying on one of the gurney still unconscious with Edward, Alice and Jasper beside her.
"Aqulia!" Charlie exclaimed. His eyes were full of terror. The Cullens and Hale siblings stood up to give way to Charlie. Charlie turned to them and asked. "Is she alright? When Bella told me what happened I thought I had to make a call to Narcissa and Andromeda."
Edward was about to answer when Aquila stirred awake. Charlie hugged the young Black as if she'll disappear if he ever let her go. Edward, Alice and Jasper took it as their que to leave.
"I'm sorry, Aquila. I tried to stop but my breaks were broken." Tyler started to apologize again and again.
"'Tis okay Tyler." Aquila weakly said.
"It sure as hell not okay." Charlie said with a dangerous tone.
"Dad, it's not his fault --" Bella tried to reason out but was ignored by Charlie.
"You can kiss your license goodbye." He said with a tone of finality.
"Maybe you should calm down a little, Uncle C." Aquila said while soothing her shaken uncle.
"I heard the newest resident of Forks was here." A very handsome, pale and blonde doctor entered the room. Aquila assumed he's Dr. Carlisle Cullen, Edward's foster father that he talks about quite often.
"Good, Dr. Cullen." Charlie said.
"I've got this one, Jackie." Carlisle told the nurse as the said nurse handed him the chart and exited. Dr. Cullen reviewed her chart and felt the back of her head as he spoke. "Well Aquila it looks like you took quite a spill. How do you feel?"
"Good. I was just shocked that's why I fainted." Aquila answered truthfully.
"Look here." Dr. Cullen said which Aquila complied by letting her eyes follow his finger. "You might experience some Post-traumatic stress or disorientation but your vitals looks good. No signs of serious head trauma. I think you'll be just fine."

"I'm so sorry Aquila. I'm really--" Tyler tried to apologize again but was cut off by Charlie pulling the curtain between them.
"It would be a lot worst if Edward hadn't knocked her out of her way." Bella voiced out.
'She just had to open her mouth, doesn't she?' Aquila thought, not wanting her uncle or anybody feel suspicious about the Cullens.
"Edward? Your boy?" Charlie asked.
Carlisle quickly looked back at the chart which gained Bella's attention, sensing the doctor knows something. This made her press for more.
"It was amazing he got to Aquila so fast. He was nowhere near me." Bella stated.
"Nonsense, Bella. Everyone knows Edward and I are practically best friends. He's always near me, y'know." Aquila said, dismissing her cousin's intuition. Carlisle sent her a subtle smile.
"As long as you're safe." Dr. Cullen said then he left.
This only made Bella think that Aquila knows something and she wasn't letting this go. The young Swan was glaring at her cousin while Aquila was trying to comfort Charlie.
"You better call your cousin. I already called Nymphadora and she wants update every hour." Charlie said.
Charlie was broken when his sister died. If he lost his niece too, he'll never survive from it. He felt like he failed to protect Luna and he cannot fail his sister again by letting anything hurt or take Aquila away from him.
"Please tell me you didn't call Mrs. Weasley." Aquila looked at her uncle pleadingly. "And don't call her Nymphadora. She'll strangle you."
"No I didn't called Mrs. Weasley. And I won't call her Nymphadora." He smiled at his niece and shook his head. His niece always know how to make people feel better.
She stood up as Charlie was signing some hospital papers. She was about to call Nymphy and Moony through her enchanted cell but something caught her eyes as she looked down the hall. Rosalie, Edward and Dr. Cullen were talking.
"This isn't just about you. It's about all of us." She whispered with anger laced on her tone.

Carlisle saw Aquila and halted their conversation, "Let's take this to my office."
Carlisle led the laring Rosalie towrrds his office. Edward walked nonchalantly towards Aquila as the latter held the look of determination.
"Hey Ed, can I talk to you for a moment?" Edward only nodded at Aquila. "Why did you save me? I know Bella was right. You were nowhere near me."
It truly puzzled her. Why would a vampire risk being exposed because of a girl he just met. If Edward would willingly tell her his secret, that wasn't actually a secret since Aquila already knew, she'll tell him about her secret too. She believes they must have mutual trust.
"I was standing right next to you." He lied, which made Aquila a little upset. This only means he didn't trust her.
"You were not. I just want to know why you saved me."
He stepped closer to Aquila with a cold expression. Edward never looked at her that way before. "No, I wasn't." He lied again.
"Ed, I know what I saw. Please stop lying to me." Aquila said.
"And what exactly was that?" He asked mockingly. He's being too defensive. Aqulia sighted.
"You're not the only one with secrets, Ed." Her statement made Edward raise his brow.
"And what's yours?"
"It doesn't work that way. If you don't trust me enough to be honest with me then that means I can't trust you too." Aquila sadly said. But she quickly shook it off and gave Edward a smile. "Thank you for saving me, though." She said then she plated a small kiss on Edward's cheeks the walked away.
Edward was left dumbfounded. His mate kissed his cheeks. He just realized his mate had a secret. But he knew he did hurt her by lying to her. He showed her he didn't trust her enough to be honest to her. Then and there, he promised himself he'd do everything he can to cherish her.
He was about to walk away but a small figure stopped him. Bella.
"Hey." Bella smiled at Edward. He ignored her and walked pass her.
Everytime Aquila wasn't around, Bella would pester him, ask him questions and keeps on doing things to get together with him. And he hated every moment of it. He only wanted one person. He only wanted his mate, his Aquila.
"Why did you save her?" Bella asked. " What are you hiding? Does she know? Was she hiding something too?"
"That is none of your business, Isabella." He said in a cold and harsh tone.
"I will find out what you and that little slut are hiding." Edward growled at her as he heard what she called Aquila. "I won't do that if I were you."
Edward only sneered at her then walked away.
That was the first night Aquila Black dreamed about Edward Cullen. She swam with white skin aglow, hair floating weightlessly, eyes glowing with iridescent hue as if the colors of the rainbow swirled around together. Suddenly cold arms wrapped themselves around her waist. Someone trailing kisses on her neck as she tilted her head more to give that person more access.
"Mine"
She heard that person whispered. She knew who it belongs too.
"Edward..."
She then unintentionally opened her eyes, waking from her dream. For a split second, she saw Edward's figure watching her. She turned the lights on to see it empty.
"Damn you Edward. I kinda like you but you can't just enter my room at night and watch me sleep."
She made sure Edward was truly away before she casted a spell on her room. People could only get inside her room if they have her permission or if she's aware about it.
