《•°From Peer to Professor°• Severus Snape x Reader》Name After Name

Walking along the side of the lake was something Severus and I did more frequently in the past couple months. It was a good way to spend our afternoons when we've been huddled in the Dungeons for class all morning long, where no sun can reach us.
Today's lake trip was a bit more special than the rest though, because today is the last day of school at Hogwarts. Tomorrow, the train would be arriving to pick up all the students and staff.
The crunching of the pebbles beneath our feet snapped me out of my thoughts. I looked to my left to see Severus was also deep in thought.
"I can't believe another year has already gone by." I broke the silence, causing Severus to look up at me.
"I can't either." Severus replied with a small smile.
"It feels like the Yule Ball or the Tournament itself was just yesterday. Weird how time flies." I chuckled as we came up to an old dock.
We walked to the edge of it and just stood there, looking at the sun reflecting light rays off of the lake's surface.
"And now, were going to be parents in just under three months." Severus smiled at me as he placed a gentle hand around my waist.
"What are you, counting down the minutes?" I joked.
Severus hummed in reply and pulled me into his side.
"It's really already been 6 months? I swear it hasn't been that long.." I asked Severus for reassurance.
"It feels that way, doesn't it." Severus agreed with the hint of confusion in my voice.
"Well, I guess bringing up the topic is important. We still need to set up a nursery, pick a name.." I counted the things that still needed to be done on my fingers.

Severus took hold of my hand and interrupted me,
"We can worry about those things once we're home. In the mean time, why don't we finish packing our belongings?" Severus suggested.
I nodded with a smile as we began walking back.
The whistle of the train could be heard from the platform at around 11 in the morning. Students were eager to go home and see their families again, so when the cherry red steam engine pulled into the station, many students attempted to push their way to the front.
Severus held a protective arm around my shoulder in an attempt to keep people from bumping into me.
"Severus, you don't need to be my human shield 24/7." I chuckled and wriggled out of his arms as we stepped into the train.
Severus gave me the look that mean't, 'I'm going to keep doing it regardless.'
Once we were settled in our compartment, I pulled out my sketchbook. After a couple minutes, Severus stands up to come sit next to me.
"What are you drawing?" He looks over my shoulder and asks.
"Things I see outside the window. I used to do this all the time during the train rides when you weren't there." I explained and returned to my drawing of a deer.
Severus hummed in response and waited a moment before speaking again,
"I had a few names in mind, actually. May I share them with you?"
"I had a couple as well. Tell me yours first." I asked him eagerly.
°••°°••°°••°
A couple hours have passed and we decided we had spent enough time thinking of random names. Severus and I had found out the baby's gender roughly a month ago through a doctor's visit, and since then, we were both subconsciously thinking of names. But sadly, with no success.

As we were both deep in thought, Severus raised his head quickly and his eyes widened. I turned to look at him and tilted my head curiously.
"Elora." Is all Severus said to me.
"Elora.. that's a beautiful name, Severus. Where did you come up with it?" I asked.
"No idea."
And with that, the name was settled. The little girl Severus and I were expecting would be given the name Elora.

Summoner's Journey
[Before you read - the story is officially dead. The reasons behind it are posted in the last chapter.] In a magic world on the verge of an industrial revolution, Ari Ragnarsson must uncover the truth behind his parents' disappearance. They were part of an organization known as the Order, which protects mankind from various threats - both human and supernatural. Now, after Ari's brands finally manifest, he leaves the safety of his village and travels to the continent. Strength is all that matters in this world and he must learn how to control his powers. There, he meets a man from another world, who's being hunted for merely existing. Their fates become intertwined, but not in a way either of them would appreciate. Author's note (contains minor non-story related spoilers about the MC and setting) This is a progression fantasy with LITRPG elements sprinkled on top. The main character is not a spellsword, but a summoner/support mage hybrid. Since he wasn't ambushed by a random god, there's no cheat item/spell and he has to rely on his skills and wits to survive in a world full of monsters. The story tries to show the moment when the old starts to be replaced by the new, with a healthy dose of magic and a little steampunk in the background. Also, it revolves around a party dynamic akin to RPG sessions. No health/mana bars. Numbers are secondary and the LITRPG elements focus more on classes/spells/runes and their evolutions. Tables are sparse at the beginning, but from chapter 7 onwards they appear more often. Still, I won't be copy-pasting the whole character sheet dozens of times per chapter.

Polly and Drake
Drake has been searching for a job as a personal guard, but wherever he turns, he is kicked out without fail. It's not that he's terrible with weapons, or inattentive. It could be because of his obvious racial heritage. Or because of Polly. With his funds dwindling, the only remaining option is to become one of the Cursed: poor souls that work for the Dragoneye Guild. In other lands, they may be called adventurers, saviors or even heroes, but not in the White Desert. Here, they are shunned and ignored. Depraved people who forsook their humanity for money and fame. With this choice, Drake may not only fall from grace, but also become one of only a few thousands capable of unearthing the secrets of ancient times. If he could get this guardsman notion out of his head. May contain gore, violence, profanity and traumatising content. Taking another shoot at this writing business. I write for fun and when I have time. There is no plan. The story may change drastically from what it starts out - or not. We'll see what happens. Currently, I'm aiming for a Slice of Life with LitRPG elements at a later time.

The Tales of the Revolution
Synopsis: As a scholar of science and technology, Joseph Algorith was a man who pursued his dream in unrealistic methods, using his intelligence to surpass all hurdles in this Galactic Era. He was an idealist that combined his thoughts with realism. However, unbeknownst to him in how it had happened, he had gained the opportunity to research a new system, a massive planetoid shrouded in mysteries and magic. However, to fully realize his ambition and creativity, he must save the human race of this magical world, filled with different races and monsters. “The Heavens had forced me, so I shall propose and never will be disposed of.”- Joseph Algorith Spoiler: Basically, he is reborn, with his knowledge as a scientist of the galactic era, into a new world with magic and aura powers. In this world, humans are part of the 7 major races, but two (or three) are planning to enslave them, while the others are watching on the sidelines. His plans are to develop modern weapons to strengthen the human nation because the mages and aura users aren't immortal or have steel flesh even as they get more power to the point they can deal damage of a howitzer using special moves. Though it doesn't mean that there aren't magical armours (and other things)... Extra: I'm not sure if romance will be in this. Depends on whether you, the readers, would like it or how I develop the story further. And there won't be an exact release schedule as I prefer my pace of writing and because I'm busy in life (school and extra activities, FML). If you find any mistakes, please remind me. Also, my writing style and the pace of the story may be slower than other stories you might have read on this website. Though I may make some revisions with the story, considering my editor's thoughts. Also, my story has some concepts from RTW in terms of the idea of creating weapons in a magical world, however, the plot is mine. After reading, tell me, what do you think of the beginning? What do you think your rating would be.?If possible, comment down below anything that could help me improve or to express your thoughts. Lastly, please NO COPY AND PASTE!
