《•°From Peer to Professor°• Severus Snape x Reader》Unexpected

The first class of the term had just come to an end. Callaghan and I had taken the time to introduce ourselves and truly get to know some of the students we'd be working with this year. This was the same for ever rotation that day. At the end of said day, Callaghan and I decided to clean up the classroom a bit. It seemed like no one had tidied it since last term. We talked about things like Quidditch and Deuling and then about Potion Making.
"Professor Snape is quite mysterious isn't he?" Callaghan asked me.
"Well, yeah. He seems that way to most students and maybe some teachers as well. But I've known him since my first year at Hogwarts, so he doesn't come across that way to me." I explained to him.
"I understand. I could tell he was the quiet type while I still attended Hogwarts. He was always either reading a book or sticking with you." Callaghan pointed out.
"Yeah, Severus was my best friend during school. I hadn't seen him in quite some time until the beginning of last term." I told him.
There was a bit of silence before Callaghan recalled another memory,
"I remember when the two of you were no less than a head shorter than me. Now you're my height and Severus is taller!"
"Yeah, he changed a lot. Height, voice, looks like a bat with that long black cloak." I joked, to which I got a chuckle in response from Callaghan.
"It's a shame that he portrays this disgruntled personality to everyone he comes across. He's honestly quite attractive if I might say." I almost lost it once I heard what Callaghan had said, but kept my composure.
"Really?" I asked with an open mouthed grin.
"Well, yes. I've always had a type. He just happens to match it well. And I always like a bit of a challenge in getting someone to open themselves up to me." Callaghan responded, seeming like he was off in his own thoughts after the fact.

I smiled at this and thought if I should break the news about mine and Severus' relationship.
'Why can I picture them together?' I thought to myself.
I mean, Callaghan and I get along well and have similar personalities, so maybe that's why.
After thinking a while I decided it would be best if I told Callaghan that Severus and I were already together. I don't want him to develope false hope.
"Callaghan?" I asked after I had finished cleaning the last desk.
"Yes, (Y/N)?" Callaghan responded.
"I just wanted to let you know that.. Severus and I are actually together." I spit out after hesitating slightly.
"Oh! I'm honestly not surprised. I hope what I said didn't make you uncomfortable." Callaghan asked.
"Oh no, not at all! To be honest, if I knew for sure whether Severus has had any interest in men, you would probably be his type." I responded truthfully, to which Callaghan chuckled in response,
"You really think so?"
"I mean, yeah. Our personalities are pretty similar." I told him.
"I believe you have a point there. But I just want to make sure that you know I wouldn't try anything. I respect the fact that the both of you are already together." Callaghan reassured me.
"I wouldn't think of you as the type who would. I trust you." I gave him a smile before grabbing my things and saying goodbye.
Dinner went by smoothly. Callaghan and I had talked a lot about Quidditch and D.A.D.A. during that time and Severus seemed a bit jealous about the fact that I wasn't talking to him as much as I was with Callaghan. As soon as everyone had been dismissed, I got up and made my way with Severus to our Quarters.

I was really excited for the rest of my time here at Hogwarts and didn't think I would be able to sleep that night. Severus and I were currently laying down on the sofa in the front living area, solving a crossword puzzle in the Daily Prophet. It became somewhat of a tradition to solve a crossword together every evening.

We liked to make a competition out of it by giving each person 30 seconds to find out the word and then switch to the other if they couldn't guess it in time. Whoever gets the word gets a point. Currently, Severus and I were tied and there was one word left. We had swapped almost 5 times already and it was currently my turn. Severus liked to mess with me by saying the time I had left out loud, and sadly, it worked most of the time.
"10 seconds (Y/N)... 5.. 4.. 3.."
"Blasphemy! That's the last one!" I exclaimed out of the blue and quickly scribbled the answer into the boxes.
I nearly caused Severus to fall off the sofa, but he stabilized himself just in time. I chuckled at this and whispered in his ear,
"I won."
as I said that, the crossword ink seeped into the paper and formed into two words which read, "Crossword Complete" once again.
"I'd expect you to be calmer and not so.. hyperactive at this time of night." Severus stated as he reached over to set the crossword on the table.
"I think I'm just happy that I get to be back here again. Especially since I get to stay with you and not on my own at your home." I smiled and rested my head on his shoulder.
His dark hair fell in my face so I moved it out of the way. Apparently I just pushed it into his face, to which he just sighed loudly in slight annoyance. I looked at him and laughed at what I had done while fixing it by putting the strands behind his ear. Severus smiled shortly before pulling me back down to lay with him.
"I have a question about McHale." Severus suddenly asked.
"What about him?" I responded with a sigh.
"How come you were speaking so much with McHale at Dinner? Is there something I should know about?" Severus asked with a teasing voice.
"Not really." I replied with a grin.
"And what does 'not really' mean, hm?" Severus questioned me.
"Well, if you're jealous then there's nothing to worry about." I responded to him.
"And why is that?" Severus asked, seemingly not satisfied with my answer.
I took a deep breathe to compose myself because seeing Severus' reaction to what I'm about to say, might make me burst out with laughter,
"Ok, so.. Callaghan told me that he found you rather attractive earlier today."
Severus' reaction was priceless. He was clearly shocked and didn't know what to say. I burst out laughing and wiped the tears that had appeared on my eyelids. After I had calmed down a bit, Severus began his sentence.
"Did I hear you correctly?" He asked me, not fully grasping what I had just told him.
"Mhm. Guess I'm not the only one who has a thing for mysterious dungeon bats." I joked while curling a strand of his hair around my finger.
Severus turned his head as much as he could go give me his signature, 'Are you serious?' look.
We had a stare down for a bit until I gave up and continued messing with his hair.
"So Severus.. If anyone should be jealous it's me!" I laughed, to which Severus' response was a roll of the eyes.
"Just so you know, I already told him that we are together. I just thought seeing your reaction would be funny." I explained to him.
"Although that news shocked me, at least I know I still have you to myself." Severus closed his eyes and smirked before wrapping an arm around me.
"Oh all to yourself?" I chuckled.
"Indeed.. All to myself.." Severus said with a quieter voice as he drifted off to sleep.

Crimson Pervert
Markus gets - quite literally - thrown into an RPG Fantasy world. Casually gaining game-breakingly great power is the very first thing of course, but afterwards travelling the world, building a harem and having plain fun is on the agenda. Note: No room to hide the fact that this is heavily inspired by the "Death March" web novel. I will give it my own touch by not having a Japanese-ish main character (Japan is cool and everything, but why have a harem if you never ever do something "H" with them?). Everything (characters, story, etc) is basically my creation, but I consider it a re-think of the original, so I can neither call it an "Original" nor a "Fan Fic". Don't expect it to be overly innovative. I will add an 18+ warning as soon as something like that happens, the first chapter just has a bit of undramatic blood. Comments welcome.

City of Champions Online
Having found the tragic truth that an art degree is worth less than the paper it is printed on, Jacquelyn Jones is frustrated with her dead end work as a graphic designer for a marketing firm, finding new ways to try and convince people that this week's 50 cent off sale is actually worth driving to the store. She's tried other VRMMORPGs, but they've all been fantasy-based, with a couple sci-fi games thrown in. But she wants something more, something Super. Superhero VRMMOs have had a... subpar reception in the past, in part due to the fact that the nature of most MMOs makes for fairly unheroic tales. After the couple hundredth time blasting the same group of mooks from the same faction on the same street corner of the same city, using the same powerset as everyone else because you only have a few options, it is hard to think of yourself as a hero anymore. But then she heard about City of Champions Online. For the first time, a developer partnered with a tabletop RPG maker to use their system to create a VRMMORPG, and it was one of the systems designed to be used with superhero games! And despite the name, there was no getting stuck in the same city as all the other players. The game world was a detailed replica of the real world, down to having some of the same shops and restaurants in town. She could be whoever she wanted, whatever she wanted. Now, she just has to find a way to become the heroine she's always wanted to be.

War Beast
The future is savage. Jenny Summer is a news reporter who hates her job. One day, an accident sends her through a time portal, straight into the distant future. A future of warring Beastmen tribes, deadly monsters, and magic from beyond the imagination. When the savage world is full of many threats, how will the average modern-day girl survive? Author's Note: This is a rewrite of my fiction with the original title. Instead of changing my chapters in my other draft, I made a copy with a different beginning and a few new chapters. The beginning will move straight to the fantasy world like most Isekai light novels. As usual, each chapter will go between 500 and 2,000 words. I deleted the other draft since this draft will be my focus. Enjoy and let me know what you think of this new draft. There may also be grammar and spelling errors too. This series is still in development.

Modded Skyr*m: Real Life Edition
It seems that I died while I was playing VR Skyr*m. The next thing I knew, I was standing in front of the middle-aged man who called himself The Overlord of Dremora and Dragons. He told me they were releasing Skyr*m: Real-Life Edition. However, you have to be dead first to play it, and I was chosen as a 'beta tester' of sorts. I found myself in a semi-realistic (thanks to mods) world, and I want to have fun and relax for the rest of my life, and maybe get back to Earth. There's just a small *RAWR* problem. Setting: This happens within the world in The Legend of the Fake Hero, specifically two arcs from now. About: I am writing this for fun as a side project. I intend this to be semi-interactive as I will have polls where readers can influence the book's direction. I have the final say because I believe that too many cooks in the kitchen are not a good thing. The plan is to write it in parts that are around 1-2k words. Typically around every 3 to 6 parts, they will be combined into a finalized chapter and re-edited for a smoother read. Release schedule: When I feel like it. I'll be more inclined to write if there is more interaction, both in comments and polls, towards the story. However, I will be focusing on The Legend of the Fake Hero because that is something I own entirely and enjoy. I will try to do consistent uploads. Disclaimer: This work falls under fair use as it is a partial parity, does not affect the value of the original work, is an original story within the setting (within my setting), and is not being sold. All IP belongs to their respective owners (including myself). Currently uploading on Scribble Hub and Royal Road under the same username.
