《The Half Lord {Severus Snape x Reader}》You again?

Then you heard a crash...
Your eyes flew open and darted to your small circular window by your desk. A bloodied Vince was trying to crawl into your room through the small window.
"Vince. Why did you break a window that you clearly are not able to fit through?" You asked.
"You couldn't keep me away for long (f/n)! I'm here to take you away!"
"And what happens when you can't escape my window, smart one?"
Vince looks down at his waist that is unable to fit through and flails. "Can you help me? I don't wanna be stuck here."
"Then what'll you do if I don't go with you back to the Underworld?"
"I'll hunt down your little friends and force you to!"
"You'll have to start a war for me to ever go back there!"
"Ah, yes. But what if I take that Severus character down, eh? Will that change your mind?"
You froze. How did Vince know about Severus? "Leave him alone! You lay a single finger on him and I'll kill every one of your demon goons until I get him back!"
"So you have grown to care for a mortal, eh (f/n)?" Vince chuckled, shaking tiny glass shards out of his hair and off his skin. "Guess I've found a way to push your buttons!"
You got up and strolled over to Vince and made yourself at eye level. "Send all your best troops. Send all of them for all I care. Just leave Severus out of this. And don't you forget that since you're stuck I can rid of you right here and now."
"If a war is what you want, a war is what you'll get. Now get me out of this window!"
Someone or something must've been waiting outside for Vince to be finished because as soon as he said 'window' he was yanked out and he disappeared as soon as he had appeared .

"Stupid full demons..." You muttered to yourself as you got back into bed and quickly fell asleep.
~the next morning~
You had gotten up merely minutes ago and you were already dressed and ready to eat breakfast. You had to tell Severus what happened, Remus as well.
"Good Morning, (f/n). How did you sleep?" Remus asked as he sat down across from you at the table.
"Remus. I have something extremely important to tell you and it cannot wait."
"What is it?"
"Vince broke in last night and I may have gone overboard and declared war on the Underworld to save someone I didn't want involved in their business."
"Who?"
You were afraid of him asking this. Severus and Remus didn't have the best relationship because of events that happened during their Hogwarts years. Since you trusted Remus, you decided to tell him.
"Ok, I know this may sound off topic, but do you remember how I said I didn't know who I went to the masquerade ball with?"
"Well, yes. Why?"
"I didn't want Severus involved with Vince and he threatened to harm him so I said that I'd take on his whole 'army of goons' to protect him."
"We have to tell Dumbledore. Immediately." Lupin shot up from the table and ran to your study to write a letter explaining what happened as well as requesting a meeting.
"I'll see you later, Remus. I must warn Severus!" You shouted upstairs as you ran out the door and apparated to the alley next to Severus' house.
You ran to the door and quickly knocked, Severus soon opening the door.
"Severus. You're alright, right??"
Snape looked at you confused and let you in. "Why wouldn't I be?"
Quickly explaining to him what happened with Vince and how Remus was writing to Dumbledore, he nodded.

"I had to check on you to make sure that slime ball didn't hurt you." You said as you wrapped your arms around Snapes waist, shaking and on the brink of falling apart.
"I understand, (f/n), and I don't blame you. I probably would have done something similar. Let's wait for a response from Dumbledore."
"Okay."
Severus wrapped his arms around you and rubbed your back, calming you.
Finally, you broke the silence. "Severus, how can you ever love a girl like me? I'm 112 years old, much older then you. I'm also foolish, I shouldn't have let Vince manipulate me like that."
"(F/n). Age is merely a number, always remember that. I love you because you were always there for me since my youth, whether I knew it or not, and your eyes. Your eyes are like looking at a whole universe through a looking glass. You have a spirit in you that I have never seen in anyone else. You stick up for yourself and others despite the odds. You have traits of all four houses, not just one. You're unique in your own way, never afraid to go your own route, speak your mind. Defend the ones you care about. Most of all, you make me happy, you've unlocked emotions in me I haven't felt for years, nobody else has been able to do that, not even Lily. That's why I love a girl like you, (f/n) (l/n)."
Your eyes were watering and your mouth was ajar. You never knew that one could care so much for someone else. "Severus... Nobody, and I mean nobody. Has ever made me feel this way like you. You're the only one I've ever cared about to the point that I would give up all the riches and fame possible to be with. It all started when I met you 24 years ago. Severus Snape, I love you."
There was no moment to think, your lips locked almost the instant the last word slipped out of your mouth.
You both were there holding each other and snogging for what felt like forever until you pulled away for air. Smiling at each other, you pecked each other on the lips twice before prepping to meet with Dumbledore.
~soon after~
Dumbledore apparated into the house with a small gust of wind, he was dressed in his usual robes.
"I got the letter from Remus, Miss. (L/n). May we discuss everything that occurred?"
"Uh, well, yes of course." The three of you sat down on Severus' couch and you told him every detail of what happened, when you finished, he sighed.
"You realize that we are facing an enemy we know nothing about, correct?"
"Not...entirely."
"Whatever do you mean, Miss. (L/n)." Severus finally piped in.
"I can train the troops, I know everything. It's all I learned about for 11 years of my life, and I studied it ever since ."
"Perfect! Now all we have to do is prepare and wait." Albus said.
"But who's fighting this? We can't make this a Hogwarts affair. Then the students will know that I'm-"
"No worries. How big of numbers are we dealing with?"
"..................... Over 9000......"
"Oh my....well it seems that we'll need more then just 4 people to fight, but who?"
"What do you mean by 4, there are only three of us." Snape added.
"Remus-"
"I know a few people." Both Albus and Severus looked at you in unison.
"What people?" They both asked. Severus raised an eyebrow while Dumbledore furrowed his.

Blightbane
Miscellaneous Notes: - I want to see about making a crude map of Shroud to help readers. - I also want to get back to writing Coalescence updates. Schedule Notes: - None for now, updates when I can. [ Thank you for your patience and support as I improve my writing and storytelling abilities. I'm also using this story to better develop lore that extends far beyond it. ] Thanks to another exceptionally talented artist, Hiroeth, Blightbane now has an official cover! Vera was alone again. “You’re completely unprepared. Never before has sending one of you off made me feel quite so guilty.” Whenever she found herself in doubt, she would weigh her actions against the guiding principles of the one whom she revered. “When you don’t know the rules of the game, start making them up. When you are constrained by unfavorable conditions, inject a little chaos.” It was the supplementary message that concerned Vera the most. It was difficult to follow because it was intentionally vague and mired in subjectivity. “How can I enjoy myself when you look so tormented? Are we in danger?” Vera fell silent. An experiment is taking place on a planetary scale. Across the surface of the planet, a phenomenon referred to as "Blight" is spreading. Festering regions defended by fierce creatures called “blightbeasts” taint the surface, warping the land and proliferating unceasingly. Among the sentient creatures of the planet, it is the Blightbane Guild’s responsibility to stem the tide. They endeavor to cleanse the land in a struggle of attrition, but they are losing ground. A young man named Caim has been uprooted from his former life and transported to The Shrouded Theocracy, an isolationist nation with fanatical policies. He must struggle to survive with only an unfamiliar strain of magic to aid him. There is a secret to this magic. One he knows very little about. He intends to explore just what makes this magic special. On the far border of the theocracy, a mage scientist named Inis discovers a revolutionary new way to infuse strength from defeated blightbeasts. Using herself as a test subject, this process allows her to grasp magical concepts previously thought beyond her reach. Though she tries to document any side effects that arise, something escapes her awareness. She is playing with a dangerous force that will claim her most treasured asset if she isn't careful. Everyone and everything on the planet is a part of the experiment. The experiment is a lie.

The Records of Eternity: The Traveller of Worlds
There probably won't be anything much for Traveller for the next while as I honestly don't have much of an idea of what the hell I plan on doing. While I wait for another spark of genius for this I want to get out some chapters for my other works, which I do have an idea of where I want to go. So instead of stressing myself out over this bottleneck, I will be focusing on other stories until I breakthrough. The Traveller of Worlds is a tale that tells the adventure of the young Saxon girl Millie Von Augustine, though she has another name. Millie is the eldest child of the Augustine family, a noble family in the Kingdom of Saxony. Although being a woman she was barred from succeeding her father as head of the family. In addition, she has been treated rather poorly by most of her family due to her tomboyish personality. But one day as a youth, she met someone in the woods behind her house, and this encounter would forever change her fate. Moving this to have a new chapter at a minimum of every three weeks as I have started another project full time. The cover artwork was made by Nez Illust, check their page for more their stuff. You can find more information on the universe of The Records of Eternity at https://recordsofeternity.wordpress.com/ I will also be posting any updates on how things will proceed and random other thoughts pertaining to the series on my website.

"The Heart and Soul of our world met the Red Tempest of our species and is now without faith. Doomed to coil around the sun like a dying serpent in a bleeding desert," - Scholar Pulram. It is a time of darkness in the hearts of mortals. On a day unlike any other, in a battle meant to be standard fare, their lives were changed forever. Now, they have fallen, so quickly, to the vices of despair, misery, and fanaticism. The worst of them reign supreme with kratocratic tyranny, each squabbling over stretches of land and driving their subjects into poverty, fear, and mountains of the dead. By their hands, entire nations will fall, and whole peoples will be eradicated over petty reasons of ideological differences and speciesism. But all is not so bleak for everyone. Jira ne'Jiral, the knight of secrets, refuses to bow to those men and women who so callously obliterate the world, fighting to protect a world that distrusts her. Orlantha Quills, broken and lost, wanders the world with her enigmatic companion in search of the truth. Gíla Arsinoe, a Drayheller of little renown, works with the fates themselves for the salvation of the future. Three stories that will converge as the world itself splits apart in chaos and madness.
