《The Half Lord {Severus Snape x Reader}》A dream or an image?

~in dream~
Opening your eyes, you gazed at your house, this was the day that you had completed it.
You looked it up and down, taking in all of the details of the sign you had carefully placed towards the top. St. Raven.
"It's perfect!" You exclaimed as you entered your newly completed home.
"It's bigger on the inside!"
With a sigh, you plop on the couch, of course, you had nobody to share your creation with, you had no friends. You'd just have to keep the joy of St. Raven to yourself.
That's when the scene changed to when you met a young boy that was maybe 5 years old that had jet black hair and onyx eyes.
Being much taller then him, you had to look down and the other, having to look up at your (s/t) face and (e/c) eyes.
"What's your name?" You asked the boy.
"Severus Snape. What's yours?" He replied with a childish grin.
"(F/n) (l/n)." You set your hand on his head. You could see a sparkle in his eyes that you had never seen in any others before. Joy in meeting someone new, whether they were significant or not.
"Do you want to be friends with me?" Severus asked.
"Of course I'll be your friend, Severus. Always."
Next, your dream shifted to when you had first met Moony when you were fishing.
"I've almost got it!" You cheered as you tugged on your fishing rod.
But alas, the fish on the end was far too strong and snapped your line, making you fly back on the bank.
"Awww. I was so close." You hung your head and set your rod next to you.
"Why are you upset?" A voice asked.
Turning, you answered the unfamiliar voice.

"The fish that was on my line got away and broke my fishing line."
Finally, the man you now knew as Remus Lupin stepped out from some trees with his hair slightly ruffled and an unopened bar of chocolate in his hand held out to you.
"Here, eat, you'll feel better."
Accepting the treat, you let him sit next to you.
"You can call me (l/n)." You told him.
After, the scene changed AGAIN. This time, to Hogwarts when you first met Professor Snape. But this time, you were in his thoughts.
Where do I know her from? She seems so familiar.....
~dream end~
You woke with a start and realized where you were and you relaxed.
"I remember now. He was the boy named Severus Snape." Knowing this warmed your heart for an unknown reason, it lingered a while after and you enjoyed it. It was an unfamiliar feeling.
Since it was only 5:30, you layed back down in your bed, hoping to get at least another hour of sleep.
"Maybe I'll dream again."
~another dream~
You were at the Yule ball. But it wasn't the one from this year, it was from the next.
You wore your usual uniform but instead of your usual dark (f/c) vest, you wore a frost white one along with a matching bow tie and black button up shirt.
"Watching over the punch Severus?" You asked.
"Obviously." He replied, not wanting to talk.
You chuckled. "Afraid one of those 'hooligans' will spike it with something? Or are you just here alone?"
No answer. Of course. This was so like him.
Turning to face him, he had dissapeared and the decorated Great Hall was replaced with your old office, which was now being used as a DADA room again here.

"You know the spell, (f/n)?" Remus asked.
"Ridikkulus."
Your friend walked over to the cupboard.
"Are you SURE you REALLY want to do this, (f/n)?"
"Yes. I need to know."
He carefully unlocked the door and the boggart stepped out, boots tapping on the floor.
"Well, well. Is it our little rebel~?" The man from your first dream taunted before you.
He had scraggly black hair and a five o'clock shadow. Wearing a simple all black suit, wand in hand.
"Ridikkulus!" You waved your wand and his hair changed to a bright pink with bows in it and his suit turned into a brightly colored dress that even a clown wouldn't wear.
"Who was that?" Remus asked as he closed the cupboard door on the boggart.
"Just someone of my past. Nothing interesting."
Then you were falling. Off the Astronomy tower.
"Fly little bird! Fly!" The mans voice jeered.
You couldn't move to save yourself. You couldn't change into your animagous. Then again, it was only a dream.
Feeling the wind rush past your head, it slowed to a stop and three words were spoken.
"No more, Vince."
~end dream~
You woke and heard a bird chirping through the window like one of those mortal animated films.
"Blasted bird..."
You held up your wand at the voice, not even having to open your eyes to see who it was.
"Vince. Why are you here?"
"Oh, seems like you've finally woken up, little bird."
"Could you stop calling me that? It's annoying, and I'm not a youngling anymore, I outgrew it a long time ago."
"As you wish, m'lady."
"Don't call me that either."
"Fine. M'lord."
With a sigh, you got out of bed, still pointing your wand at Vince.
"You're the one who gave me this stupid mark. So what I'm not like the others? I'm me."
"You've become very mortal-like, m'lord."
"And you haven't changed one bit Vin."
"One day soon you'll learn the power of the council." He said.
You finally faced him, the same scraggly haired man from your dreams.
"I would call security but they're already here."
Lowering your wand, you sarcastically shrugged.
"One day, you'll return, but it will be for my trial, I still won't kill the child, it's wrong, it's in humane."
"You're not human nor demon. You're a freak." He paused. "M'lord."
"Gee, thanks for the compliment, Vince. Now leave Hogwarts."
"Fine, but I came with a warning. You can't live forever if you don't pass the trial, you'll be plagued with war and losses far more important to you then a simple mortal child." With a turn, he apparated away.
"Slime ball, Vince."
You got ready and went to the Great Hall to eat, uninterrupted and no words uttered to you in the hall, nobody looking at you.
They could tell something was off today.
