《The Half Lord {Severus Snape x Reader}》The mark

Waking up the next day, you quickly got yourself ready and headed out the door with your broom, ready to fly to Hogwarts. Today you were supposed to get your new office.
Before you took off, you made sure that you had gathered all of your belongings that you wanted to put into your office and put them into a messenger bag that was slung over your shoulder.
"I did the same thing when I was getting my office."
Nearly jumping out of your skin you turned and scolded the man behind you.
"Will there ever be a day that you don't either sneak behind me or follow me somewhere, Severus?"
"The world may never know."
Done with what the Professor was doing, you kicked off the ground and sped off, knowing that He couldn't follow you that fast on foot.
By the time you got to Hogwarts, your blue hair was wind blown and your robes dried of the moisture from melted snow.
"(L/n). Allow me to lead you to your new office." Dumbledore said as you entered the castle.
You followed the old Profesor through many halls until you stopped in front of a arch like wooden door same as all of the others.
Dumbledore handed you a key and said nothing, allowing you to explore your new office.
After unlocking the door, you pushed it open with ease and stepped inside and gaped at the room.
It was a half circle with a single desk at the far end with one office chair and two regular ones on the opposite sides.
It had a window to the left and a fireplace with a mantle to the right, an empty bookshelf beside it as well as a cushioned chair.
You turned to thank the Headmaster but he has already left.
Then you noticed a door on the back wall to the right of the desk and chairs and walked through that, leaving the main door cracked open.
These were your private quarters. There was already a bed with a dark (f/c) comforter set and a small kitchenette as well as a bathroom attached and another empty bookshelf.
In the center of the half circular room there was a simple wooden table and two chairs.

You took your broom off your back and propped it against the wall next to your bed and took a few books that you had taken notes in and placed them on the shelf.
At the moment, that was all you had, so you tossed your bag on the bed and headed off to the Great Hall, not noticing that your tie had come untucked from your vest and was loose from flying over.
~breakfast~
Taking your seat in between Severus and Dumbledore, you quietly started eating, noticing that your neon hair was getting noticed by a few staff members and all of the students. You scowled at Snape and he seemed to not notice.
A wave of pain came from your left collar bone. You grasped it with your hand and hissed in pain. Unfortunately, both Severus and Dumbledore looked over at you.
"(F/n), are you feeling alright?" The elder of the two asked
"Yes." Both said at once.
The three of you went, you didn't know why Snape and Dumbledore came but that didn't matter.
"Let me see." Madam Pomfrey said.
You grimaced, you couldn't hide it forever.
You undid your tie and let it hang loosely around your neck and unbuttoned your top buttons on your shirt, as well as taking off your robes and vest.
It revealed the same mark from your dream (above, without the roses and with the number one in their place) on your collar bone.
Madam Pomfrey gasped. "Dumbledore, I think you should see this."
As the nurse parted the curtains to let the Headmaster and the potions master in, you hung your head.
"How come you never told us, (f/n)?" Dumbledore questioned.
"I- I just... You don't know how hard it is."
"I knew it!" You heard Snape say aloud, making your head snap up and glare at him.
"Is this why you kept on breaking into my house, Severus?" You demanded.
He simply shrugged and Dumbledore gave you a sympathetic look.
"I understand the things that you have been through, and I'm so sorry, I'm so so sorry."
You winced at the pain of sudden flashbacks that threatened to pop back into your mind.

The three of you discused the situation for a while longer and the two men and Pomfrey swore to never reveal your identity to anyone. Ever.
~during the day before lunch~
You had been feeling depressed just about all day, you never thought that your past would come up again.
Memories flashed through your mind and that only made you sadder.
Currently you were inside your office, head down on the desk. You needed something to keep you occupied, but what?
You thought for a moment.......
I can get some potions brewing! I could always use some more Amortentia.
You jumped up from your desk chair, dashing inside of your quarters, grabbing your cauldron and ingredients set on the way to the table.
Opening your note filled potions book, you turned to the page with the Amortentia potion on it.
The way you made it, it was a perfume that smelled of the things that the person who smelled it liked.
For you, it was burning wood in a fireplace, freshly cut grass, and a cool breeze. You never told anyone of the many spells and potion variations you had made up because you knew that they'd try and use them against you, and you never knew when you'd need a new spell.
You started throwing the ingredients in and stirring it.
By the time it was ready to sit simmering, there was a knock at your office door.
You left your quarters, shutting the door quietly and called the person in, sitting behind your desk in the process.
It was a Ravenclaw first year. She sat at one of the two chairs at your desk and with the flick of your wand, the main door closed silently.
"Hello. What might your name be?"
"Emily, Emily Banes."
"Alright, Emily, ignore my blue hair. Is there anyone or anything bothering you, have you come to report a possible breaking of the rules, or are you here for something else?" You asked as kindly as possible.
"I- um. Well, there's a Slytherin that's bullying me for getting the best grades on everything and she is spreading rumors that I'm cheating. I'm truly not, but she doesn't believe me."
"Do you know her name?" You were making sure you wrote everything down in good detail.
"Riley Spencer."
"Alright, no worries, Emily, I'll make sure to get this taken care of, no problem. I hope you have a great day."
With that, Emily Banes left, and you continued to watch over your batch of Amortentia perfume.
~timeskip to before dinner~
You only had to break up a single fight between a Gryffindor and Slytherin today and take away ten points from both of their houses. You felt as you were doing a great job.
Amortentia perfume finished, you poured it into an empty perfume bottle and sprayed some on yourself, inhaling the scent.
It smelled of the same scent you'd found on your couch. Dry stone, a burning fire, and river water. As well as freshly cut grass and a cool ocean breeze.
Now, more relaxed, you flicked your wand and the cauldron started to clean itself and your ingredients set went back to its shelf.
Checking the time, you grinned, time for dinner.
Heading out and locking your door, you only had to walk down the hall to get the the Great Hall.
You sat in your spot in between the headmaster and Severus, the first nodding to you as you sat. Snape seemed to inhale the aroma from the perfume that was around you and raised an eyebrow.
"Do you like it, Severus? It's my own variation."
As usual, when he didn't want to admit anything, he ignored your statement and began eating.
Dumbledore gave you a compliment and told you that it smelled like lemon drops, but Snape still didn't utter a word.
After dinner ended, you were walking back to your quarters when his footsteps were heard behind you.
"I know it's quite a bit to take in, my past and all. Just don't do or say anything rash." You entered your office, locked the door behind you with a spell, and bounded to your quarters.
Changing into a big (f/c) shirt that went to your knees and a pair of gym shorts, you covered yourself in the dark (f/c) silken bedsheets and fell into the best sleep you've had in the longest time.
