《Tutoring | Severus Snape x Reader | Edited》Chapter Thirty Seven

"You're early" Severus smiled slightly as he walked over, charming the door quickly before wrapping his arms around your waist. Wrapping your arms around your neck, you smiled fondly at the black-haired man, "I just couldn't resist any longer without you" you flirted, a small squeak left you as you felt yourself being lifted into the air. Wrapping your legs around his waist, you let a giggle slip out, his arms gently supporting you. He was always stronger than he looked. You felt your heart skip a beat as he rested his head against yours, without skipping one yourself, you leaned in placing a soft kiss on his chapped lips.
Your heart pounded against your chest as the two of you continued to kiss, slowly it ended up becoming a passionate make-up session. Severus had ended up sitting you down on a desk, one of his hands on your cheek, while the other supported him. Your hands were tangled in his black locks, legs still wrapped around his waist as you tried to keep him as close as possible to you. A few minutes passed before he pulled away, a strand of saliva still connecting your mouths, causing him to chuckle slightly. His laugh made you smile even wider than you were earlier, you could swear you looked like the Cheshire cat.
Pulling away from the position Snape walked towards his desk, sitting down to attend to some papers he was filing. Pouting, you walked over to him only to sit yourself in his lap. "Honey, I need to finish this, then I can give you attention okay? Can you go sort the books out over there?" letting out a frustrated sigh you nodded in understanding, you weren't used to being so needy but lately you had been daydreaming about him more and more. The thought of you being apart always seemed to upset you now, you used to be able to deal with it a lot easier. But lately, it was starting to eat you from the inside out, you simply wanted to share a bed at night, be sure that you would see him at least once every day.

As you worked through the books he'd asked you to, you thought about your sudden need to be close to him constantly. 'Maybe it's because Hailey sees Remus so often' you pondered, you did feel quite jealous about the fact they saw each other every day without fail. You had noticed them in the halls talking quite often about something, they weren't being very inconspicuous at all like you and Severus were. You ended up putting it down to just wanting to spend more time with him, after all, it was quite normal to want to spend time with someone you had been dating for a long time. Abruptly, you stopped working through the books as you came to a sudden realisation, 'Shit. I have to go to Hogsmeade with Draco tomorrow', you had barely spoken to him since he proposed the hangout, you started to regret your decision as you realised you couldn't sleep in Severus' arms tonight.

Trickster's Tale
Be careful when demanding reparations from gods. They rarely own up to their mistakes. Due to a goddess's shortsighted error, Perry finds himself transported to a distant Universe with new proportions and a different identity. Instead of cowering before the deity, he demands she opens a portal home or provides reparations for him and his bereaved family. Unfortunately, standing up for himself doesn't earn Perry respect. Instead, she curses him with cowardice, limiting his combat and magical potential. Little does the goddess know that nothing can stand in the way of Perry's sheer will. If brute strength and arcane might won't get him the justice he desires, wit and creativity will. Perry's first target? A goblin shaman. Then, the world. And so begins, the bard's ballad. Trickster's Tale (Book 1): Is That A Lute In Your Pocket will release on Kindle Unlimited on the 10th of May.Due to KU's exclusivity rules, I've had to take most of book 1 down.Book 1 Bard's Ballad takes place in the same extended Universe as my other story, The Houndsman. It's set on a distant 'disk', though. As a result, the magic system is unique in comparison and has a harder LitRPG system. While the story utilises stats, it doesn't take them seriously and occasionally makes fun of regular LitRPG mechanics.

The day they became Mortal
Paladins and Vampires have always been sworn enemies. While the Paladins were blessed with the power of Apollo, made to heal and to wield the power of light itself, the vampires were immortal beings with heightened senses, strength and speed. For centuries the two lived in general peace, while the paladins built their kingdom Appollis, the vampires resided in the sanguine lands of Sareth. All changed however when an unknown paladin poisoned the special water supply of the vampires with Blackrye, a plant that to the vampire's horror removed their right to eternal life. No longer protected from illness or the relentlessness of time the vampires were forced to indulge in more blood. Soon enough a war broke out between the two kingdoms, a war that would cost the life of King Barron of Appollis and the sanity of Queen Diana of Sareth. Their heirs were too young to ascend the throne, forcing the two kingdoms to hastily form a truce until both princes were old enough to rule their lands. Five years after the blood war Arrin of Appollis and Ophyr of Sareth rule their respective kingdoms, despite having been kings for a few years and heavily disliking each other due to their past, they decided to keep the truce in place. What happens however when Arrin decides to kidnap the vampire king after he unfortunately stumbled upon Appollonian terrain?

Red Clay Technical Services: Mercenaries, Magicians, and Marketing
Bobby likes Pabst Blue Ribbon, NASCAR races, and throwing fireballs. A through and through Georgia boy, raised down in the sticks but now working with all things mystic. He is, in other words, a magician. Not just any magician- but one bound by the most egregious of terms: business contracts. See, a long time ago, Bobby got himself involved with a dragon whose business was making magicians, and Bobby wanted magic to be his business. Both of them having common interest, Bobby agreed to sign over his services in exchange for phenomenal (draconic) magic. A pretty awesome deal, right? The contract put him at the top percentage of human magicians, on top of having the backing of a dragon patron, and a fantastic set of benefits befitting an esteemed contractor, so it'd be smooth sailing from then on, right? Not so. That kind of power isn't granted without strings attached, and Bobby's practically bound up in them. Following the esoteric laws set forth by magicians , juggling them with the mortal interests he still has to abide by, and finding himself at the beck and call of a fickle and opaque patron makes his life as a magician a rollercoaster of ups and downs. But when his patron sets him on a strange task- with stranger company, no less, even Bobby has to question what his mission really is. Delving into fantastic crimes and cracking open mysteries is just the least he can do, and he'll do it with the help of his gun, his wand, and his trusted allies both large and small. --- Cover art is of the Georgia Guidestones. Chapters released on a semi-regular basis, at least one every two weeks, sometimes more. Also published on Offprint.net, Webnovel, and Scribblehub under the same title!
