"Jonah, what the hell are you doing?!-"

Jonah lifted her head up out of the car as their boyfriend stood behind them. "What? I'm trying to find something! Give me a minute-" Adam sighed and rolled his eyes. "It's been about 5 minutes, what are you even looking for?"

"...gloves."

"For what?"

"You know the woods behind your house? I wanna go exploring-"

"ABSOLUTELY NOT-"

Jonah finally grabbed the box of gloves- latex free, considering her allergy- and they finally left the car. "Oh come on, why not? It'd be fun!"

"We have very different definitions of 'fun,' then."

"You're just scared of bugs, aren't you?"

Adam punched Jonah in the shoulder light heartedly, and Jonah just laughed in response. "Okay okay fine, I admit it's because I heard a frog out there some time ago and I wanna find it..."

Adam sighed in response to his ridiculous partner. "Fine, I'll help you find the damn frog." Jonah's face lit up and they hugged Adam tightly.

So that's what they did. They spent their afternoon looking for this frog that Jonah was talking about. As Adam was about to suggest they give up, he heard a loud gasp and turned around to see Jonah, holding a MASSIVE fucking frog. "Jonah- HOLY SHIT WHAT IS THAT-"

"LOOK! I FOUND IT!"

"I THOUGHT YOU MEANT A SMALL FROG WHAT IS THAT-"

"I'm gonna name it...Bong Water."

"You're gonna- BONG WATER?!"

"He's our son now, I don't make the rules."

Adam looked at her, then at the frog, and then back at her with confusion on his face. "Jonah Marshall..."

"Pleaaasseeeee???"

Jonah looked at Adam with the most annoying puppy eyes he'd ever seen, but it worked. Adam finally gave in, now he and Jonah were fathers to a fucking frog. A FROG.

"I'm gonna show my mom, surely she wouldn't mind having a grandson this early."

"You're crazy, you know that?"

"Oh come on, you know you love me!"

Adam sighed and helped Jonah carry the frog inside as Jonah grabbed their camera to take pictures. A frog...as a son. And his name is Bong Water...where did my life make such a turn? He looked over at Jonah, seeing how happy she was with the frog though, and realised that he wouldn't rather have his life any other way.
