It's getting closer to Christmas and I'm actually quite excited for it

I spent today hanging out with my little brother. We made cookies, watched some movies and I played some games with him

"So are you excited for Christmas?" I ask him as we start building a lego house

"Yeah" he smiled and picked up a piece of lego

Then my phone buzzed. I looked and saw it was a notification from Jonah

"Do you miss him?" He asked me smiling

"Yeah, I do" I say and pick up some lego

"You should visit him for Christmas" he says sounding excited

"But I wouldn't want to leave you" I pout

"You spend every Christmas with me, I won't mind" he smiled sweetly

"I need a yellow block" he sighed

"You really wouldn't mind?" I ask him feeling myself get emotional

"Of course not" he smiled so I immediately gave him a hug and my eyes started to water

"I love you" I said happily through my tears

"I love you too" he giggled

That night I texted Daniel so I could ask him Jonah's location so I got it completely accurate. I decided to listen to what my brother had to say and I booked a flight to see Jonah So I'll be needing to leave tomorrow morning if I want to get there in time

"How's the packing going?" My mum asked walking into my room with a smile

"It's boring" I chuckled

"Did you expect you'd be going so soon?" She asked me curiously

"Nope" I say with an awkward laugh

"I'll need to properly meet this Jonah guy he seems nice" she tells me with a supportive nod

"yeah he is" I smiled

"Well I let you get some rest so you can be ready for tomorrow morning" she says walking back over to my door

"Goodnight" she smiled then turned around to leave

I got into the pajamas, brushed my teeth and went straight to sleep. I woke up to my Alarm, it was 4 in the morning and I wanted to go back to sleep so badly but I knew it couldn't so I got up

I changed into a comfy shirt and comfy trousers. I packed anything else I needed to put in my bag then took my suitcase downstairs

"You seem very awake" I laugh as I see my Mum standing at my bottom of the stairs looking wide awake

"Didn't see the point in going to sleep" she shrugged with a chuckle

We went outside, put my suitcase in the boot and then got into the car

"Should we put on some music" my mum says too energetic for the morning

"Go for it" I laughed confused

"Oh is this that new song?" She asked as the song starts playing

"Yes" I say awkwardly

"It's kinda good" she laughed

My mum and I started singing and dancing to the songs that where playing and it made me feel more awake which was good

"Thats us here now" she sighed as she drove the car in the direction of the airport

"That was a fun car ride though" I Iaughed

"Oh it was great" she laughs agreeing with me

We got out of the car and I took my suitcase

"Love you Mum" I say and give her a big hug

"Have a great Christmas sweetie" she say happily

"You too" I smiled and let go of her

"Bye bye" she waved as I walked away and gave her a last wave

I did the usual and went to sit at my gate. I waited for about an hour and almost fell asleep. Once my flight was called I boarded and took my seat

I barley got any sleep but I tried my best to keep myself productive by drawing and colouring

"Oh my god Liani!" I heard a girl say sounding shocked so I looked to my left and saw Bella just standing in the Isle

"Oh didn't expect to see you here" I smiled feeling shocked

"I'm visiting my girlfriend and her family back home, are you going to see Jonah?" She asked with a sweet smile

"Yeah" I smiled awkwardly

"Aw" she said softly

"Well Merry Christmas" she smiled

"Merry Christmas" I smiled back then she walked back to her seat

A few hours after the plane was landing and once it landed everyone started slowly getting off. I grabbed my bags and left feeling the fresh air hit my face

I made my way to baggage claim and got my suitcase fairly quick. After I got it I went straight outside to get my taxi and I was on my way to surprise Jonah

The drive there was pretty quiet but once I got there I felt myself get nervous. I paid the driver and got out and walked towards the door with my suitcase. I took a deep breath and knocked on the door

"Yeah I'll get it" I hear someone say. As their footsteps get closer my heart started to race more

The door opened and this women answered

"Oh my god" she whispered shocked and came outside to close the door

"You must be Liani, what are you doing here?" She asked me in a very calming soft voice

"Yeah I am, I came to surprise Jonah" I say nervously

"Aw that's adorable" she smiled and clapped her hands happily

"I'm Jonah's Mum, Carrie" she told me smiling

"Nice to meet you" I smiled still feeling nervous

"It's freezing out here, how about you come in. Jonah is upstairs so he won't here you come in" she smiled and took my suitcase

"Thank you" I smiled and followed her inside

"Is that Wes?" I asked feeling so much joy once I saw the little kitten sitting on the couch

"Yup" she smiled and picked him up so I could give him a pat

"I'll call him downstairs and you can surprise him, I'd stay but I need to get some things from the garage" she told me excitedly

"Okay" I say and fiddled with my sleeves awkwardly

"Jonah can you come downstairs and get your shoes!" She shouted then turned to me with a smile and went outside

I decided to hid behind the couch so he couldn't see me. I heard him start to walk downstairs and he walked over to the kitchen so I sneaked my way in making sure he wouldn't notice. He opened up the fridge so I walked a bit closer

"Can I get something too?" I ask him and he turned around so fast
