I barely got any sleep but when I heard we could get out of the plane I was relieved that I would get to feel the fresh air

I went to get my bags which didn't take that long and I meant my aunt outside

"hey pumpkin" she says excited and gives me a hug

"hey" I smile happily

"right let's get you to the house and I'll get you a drink and unpack your bags for you" she smiles as we walk to her car

"oh you don't have to" I smile thankful

"don't be silly, you've had a long flight" she chuckles

"right here we are" she says and unlocks the car and I put my suitcase and bags in the boot and get the in the car with her

"right let's get going" she says and reverses out of her parking space and starts driving away from the airport

I almost feel asleep in the car but I managed to keep my eyes open

"right we're here" she says happily as she pulls up to this big lovely house

"wow" I say shocked

"I'll get your bags dear, you go get some rest and make yourself at home" she smiles

"you sure?" I ask awkward

"I'm positive" she says and gives my head a little pat which made me laugh

I get out the car and walk into the house

"oh by the way dear!" she shouts before I close the door

"you can have the room on the second floor to the right!" she smiles

"okay!" I shouted back

I went upstairs and I was amazed at how big the house was

I went into the room she told me I could have and it was beautiful. It had a balcony as well with a lovely room. You might be wondering why she has so much money and it's because of her restaurant, she's made a lot of money from it and it's very popular

I heard my phone ring when I was looking at the view so I pulled it out of my pocket to see it was Sam. Wonder why he's calling?

"hey Liani" he says as soon I pick up

"hey Sam" I say

"so I know it's late and you're probably tired but I was wondering if you maybe wanted to go on a date when you get back?" he asks awkwardly

"I understand if you don't want to of course but like I thought I try atleast" he chuckles

"you know what, yes. I will" I say in a happily agreeing

"great, have a goodnight Liani" he says

"you have a good day" I say and hang up

Sam is nice and I've got to know him since I met him at the bar. He's easy to talk to, cute, sweet so why not go on a date with him. I mean I might as well

I went to sleep feeling drained but I woke up with a lot of energy and looking foward for today. I checked my phone to see the time and it was 10:00am

"good morning" my aunt says and knocks the door before she walked in

"here's some breakfast" she smiles and sits down on the table beside me some healthy food

"thanks" I smile

"no problem pumpkin" she says and sits down on the bed

"so can I ask you for a favor, you don't have to do it of course but I would be appreciated" she tells me

"could you maybe do a shift at the restaurant today, one of the employees is on holiday and it would be great but of course it's your choice" she smiles

"I'd love too" I smile excited

"oh great" she says happily

"well I'll let you get changed and then we can go" she smiles and gets up

"okay" I smile and she leave the room

I put on black jeans and a white top so I wasn't looking overdressed at a restaurant

I put my shoes on and then went to brush my teeth and I put my hair into a high ponytail

After I got ready I went downstairs to see my aunt already outside waiting for me. How is she always so prepared?

The drive there wasn't that long which was good because I was about to boil to death

"right so i might pop in later but if you need any help ask one of the girls but I'm sure you'll do so well" she smiles and gives me a hug

I get out the car and give her a wave before walking in and having no clue where to go

"hey" this girl says walking up to me

"are you Liani?" she asks me confused

"yes" I say awkwardly

"great!" she smiles

"come with me" she says and we walk into the staff room

"so here's a note pad a pen" she says and gives me them

"so basically just write people's orders and tell the chef" she smiles

"oh I'm Hailey by the way" she chuckles

"nice to meet you" I smile

"you too" she says happily

I started working and I did find it a bit confusing but I started getting the hang of it and Hailey was helping a lot and making sure I was okay. After a few hours more employees started to arrive

"hey guys" Hailey smiles and walks over to them just as she finishes cleaning at table

"this is Liani" she smiles and points at me

"nice to meet you" this girl said to me

"nice to meet you I'm Leo" this boy said as well

"nice to meet yous too" I smile

"right what time is it?" Hailey says and checks her watch

"almost 6 so we'll have more customers coming in. It's a Friday night so we'll be busy" she says and walks away

"don't stress about it too much" Leo says and gives me a reassuring look so I smile at him
