A few months later

"Jack come on please" I sigh asking him for now what feels like the 50th time

"no" he says and throws a pillow at me

"Well I'm not going alone" I tell him more harshly to try get my point across to him

"no go have fun I just don't want to come" he tells me and sighs annoyed

"I don't want to either but come on Jack it's just a party" I tell him letting out another sigh

"fine" he says giving in letting out a sigh

"thanks" I smile relieved

"so when is this party again?" Jack asks yawning

"like a hour" I say and roll my eyes

"let's try to have fun" Jack says and sits up. "I barley got any sleep last night" he adds

"why?" I ask confused

"I was to busy watching Netflix" he chuckles and rubs his eyes

"guys get downstairs!" Corbyn shouts

"coming!" Jack shouts and gets out of bed and leaves the room. I follow after him

"right so tonight we're just going to have fun and catch up friends, Zach did you buy the ice cream?" Daniel asks him

"yeah and it tastes good, don't worry I didn't eat it all" he smiles suspiciously

"right let's get ready, Jack take a shower" Daniel says then walks away

"I'm offended" he says and wipes a fake tear dramatically

"anyway I'll go change" I say awkwardly then walk upstairs

I go into my room and put a black shirt on to go with my black jeans then I go back downstairs

"wow Jonah what a difference" Zach says sarcastically

"shut up" I chuckle

After a little bit of time passed people started to arrive

I just stood in the corner for the mosf of the time. I didn't really feel like dancing with anyone, signing or even talking to anyone. I just wasn't really feeling it today

"hey" I head a familiar voice say as I take a drink. I look over to my left and see it was Kaia

"what are you doing here?" I asks her annoyed. I really don't understand why she would come to a party she wasn't even invited to

"aren't you not happy to see me?" she says slightly stumbling as she walks

"why?" I ask confused

"I think you know why Jonah" she whispers in my ear then giggles

"no" I say slurring my words slightly

"because of this Jonah" she says and wraps her arms around my neck

"Kaia" I sigh

"what's wrong" she smirks and moves her face closer to mine

"I- I just" I say trying to think of something to say

"shh" she says softly and moves her face even closer to me and there's a slight gap between our lips and she closed it by putting her lips against mine and for some reason I decided to kiss her back

"see that wasn't that hard" she giggles

"do you want to go get some privacy" she says and bits her lip

What am I doing? Why did i do that?

"kaia" I say softly. "Get off me" I say giving her a glare

"what?" she smiles confused completely ignoring what i just told ber

"get off me" I said lolly

"fine" she sighs and steps back

"you liked though so don't act like you didn't" she says annoyed them walks away

"hey" Daniel says walking up to me with a smile

"hey" I say awkwardly

"so-" He starts to say but then his phone rings

"who's calling at this time?" I ask him confused

"I don't know" he says confused and takes his phone out and he frooze. He looked up at me then back to his phone

"It's Liani" he said seeming confused and shocked

I haven't seen that name for a few months. It feels weird, I wonder how she's doing. I guess I'm about to find out

I followed Daniel outside so we can hear better

"put it on speaker" I tell him

"Liani?" he says confused

"oh hi Daniel my so called best friend, surprised you picked up" she says sounding annoyed

"are you drunk?" Daniel asks her confused

"I had a little yeah, it was good though" she laughs

"so why have yous decided to ignore me, it made me really sad" she laughs

"we've been busy and got told to stay focused, sorry Liani" he says awkwardly

"I don't care" she sighs

"so how long as it been, yous haven't talked to me since January and it's now August, funny how time flies by so fast" she says then chuckles

"yeah one sec" she says to someone

"one minute Austin" she laughs

Austin?

"who are you with Daniel?" she asks him

"no one" he tells her confused

"don't lie to me" she sighs

"Jonah" he tells her awkwardly

"oh Jonah, is he still sexy and annoying" she laughs. She must be wasted and has no idea what she's saying

"you talk to her" Daniel says and gives me the phone

"I'm going to go back in" Daniel whispers then I take the phone off speaker

"hey Jo, you missed me" she giggled

"still silent treatment" she sighs

"are you safe?" I ask her feeling worry come over me. I was worried about her

"what?" she laughs

"are you safe?" I asked again

"why do you care?" she groans

"you've probably got yourself a hot girlfriend and honestly good for you but don't act like you care when you don't" she says lowering her voice all of a sudden

"just answer the question" I sigh feeling fed up

"yeah I'm safe" she says sounding like she's struggling to speak but it didn't seem like it was the alcohol stopping her

"you want to know something before I go and you never speak to me again" she says and takes a deep breath

"I hate you" she chuckles

"fair enough" I say agreeing with her

"I'm not done" she says

"I hate you because you were good to me but made me feel like shit. But thank you, I appreciated every second I spent with you" she says and sniffs

Is she crying

"thank you for being worth it and making me feel safe and happy" she says and takes a deep breath

"take care of yourself teddy bear" she chuckles making me smile

"bye" she says and ends the call

"bye" I sigh
