I turn around and see it's Austin

"hey I was just wondering if I could maybe get your number and we could maybe hang out sometime?" he asks me with a smirk and small chuckle

I felt my cheeks slightly heat up

"sure" I smile and put my number into his phone

"bye Liani" he smiles

"bye" I smile then leave

"oooo" Talia says as I walk out

"shut up" I laugh

"by the way Alex and Jayden left so do you want to have a sleepover at mine?" she asks seeming excited

"sure" I smile excited

We get a taxi to her house because we both had a bit to drink so we couldn't drive

Once we got to her house we ran in and got changed into our pajamas

"I'm so happy" I say a lay down on Talias bed

"same" she smiles

"so do you want to watch a movie?" she asks me and I sit up

"yup" I say and grab the remote

I can't remember what movie we put on but we feel asleep through it

We woke up in morning to someone knocking on the door

"I'll get it" Talia sighs and gets out of bed

"yeah please do" I sigh and close my eyes

"Austin?" Talia says confused making me open my eyes

I get out of bed and walk into the living to see Austin standing at the door talking to Talia

"thanks" Talia says taking her jacket of him

"well yous have a good day" Austin smiles

"you too" Talia says to him

"hey" I hear someone say behind Austin

"mum?" I say confused as she walks in

"can I talk to you for a sec?" she whispers

"how did you know I was here?" I ask her confused

"Talia told me" she smiles

"okay" I say and follow my mum upstairs

"who's that?" she says giving me a look

"Talia" I say confused

"no, the boy" she smirks

"stop mum, that's Austin and he's a friend" I say and roll my eyes

"sorry, sorry" she laughs

"right so I just wanted you to know that your brother and I will be going to Sheffield for a bit just to take a break from your Dad" she tells me softly

"is he still bothering you?" I ask her concerned

"yes and but we'll be fine" she smiles and puts her hand on my shoulder

I hate that my mum tries to look at the best side of things when I can't see anything good about it. It's my Dad, she knows what he's like

"okay" I sigh

"love you" she smiles then walks downstairs

I go back downstairs and see Austin standing in the living room

"your mum is very chatty person" he chuckles

"yeah" I chuckle awkwardly then walk over to him

"so I heard about Jonah, does your mum know about him?" he asks me curiously

"yeah I kinda told her what happened, wait how do you know?" I asks confused

"Talia told me" he whispered

"of course" I chuckled

"I feel bad for you, you deserve better" he tells me which made me smile

"thanks" I say softly

"I swear it's freezing out there" Talia says coming in and slamming the door shut

"well it is raining" I say and roll my eyes sarcastically

"well I should get going" Austin tells us

"oh where are you going?" Talia asks him curiously

"I'm just to meet a few friends" he smiles

"have a good time" Talia says giving him a smile back

"bye" I say and give him a wave before he leaves

"I think he likes you" Talia grins

"oh do you?" I ask in a funny voice

"yup" she smiles

"well I'm going to go get ready" I tell her and walk upstairs

I go into her room and get some clothes on that I left just incase I ever stayed over. I did my makeup and brushed my hair then went back downstairs

"so what was your mum telling you" Talia asks me

"just that she's going to Sheffield for a bit to get a break from my Dad" I say awkwardly

"I feel bad for her" Talia says and grits her teeth

"same" I sigh

"do you want to go shopping?" She asks smiling happily

"yeah let's go" I chuckle

We get into her car and drive make our way to the shopping centre
