I've been quite productive this morning

I've showered, had a healthy breakfast, I woke up in a good mood, I cleaned my room and now I'm ready to leave and do some shopping

I got my shoes on and put on my denim jacket and left

My friends and family will be coming over for a new year's party tonight and Talia really wants me to explain what happening with Jonah and but nothing is because we barely speak to each other and it's all because we had an argument

Anyway I decided to push that thought away and started to look around the shop for things. I picked up drinks, snacks, party poppers and more stuff that is completely useless and I'll need to clean up the next day cause someone will find it funny to through a sausage roll down the stairs. Weird stuff like that always happens

Once I paid for all the stuff, I met Alex and we went back to my house to get ready

"so" Alex sighs and sits down on my bed as I open my wardrobe

I look around and throw things on my bed that I might want to wear

"wait no you can't wear that" Alex says and points to a dark green dress sitting on my bed. He looked disgusted

"okay" I laugh and put it back

"this red one is nice" I say and turn around to show him it

"perfect!" he says excited. "I love" he smiles

"well I'll let you get even more beautiful and if you need me I'll be in your fridge" Alex tells as he stands up and walks towards my door

"okay" I laugh

I put the dress on and put some makeup on. I then curl my hair which took ages then I was ready

I opened my door and realised lots of people had already arrived. I walked downstairs awkwardly and I saw my mum talking to someone, she turned her head for a second and saw me

"Liani come here darling" she smiles and motions me to come her way so I do

"aw darling you look gorgeous" she smiles and hugs me so I hug her back

"thanks mum" I smile

"LIANI!" I hear someone shout. It was Talia

"oh my god I missed you!" she says and squeezes me

"missed you too" I laugh and hug her back with a chuckle

"hey" I hear someone else say and I see that it's Valerie

"hey, you look great" I smile

"so do you" she smiles

"right let's get partying" Talia smiles excited

We all danced and singed together I was so happy. I was with my best friends and family

"hey everyone can I get your attention for a few minutes!" Alex shouts from the front of the room making everyone stop what they're doing and lowering my music

"so this is quite nerve-wracking for me but I thought I should say this" He says and takes a deep breath

"some of yous may know that I've been going out with a lovely guy called Jayden for a while and I have something thing to say to you" he says and then looks at him

"you've made me so happy and I appreciate everything, especially how good of friends we are and that's why I want you to know that..." he says and takes a deep breath again

"I love you and I was wondering if you would want to be my boyfriend considering I've never properly asked you" he smiles awkwardly

"of course" Jayden smiles and goes up to him, pulls him close and gives him a quick kiss and everyone cheers for them

"is anyone else tearing up?" I laugh as I wipe my eyes carefully

Then the music starts playing again and we all start dancing together

"Liani!" Alex shouts running over to me

"Hayden is at the door, he wants to talk to you!" He shouts over the music

"uh" I sigh. "okay" I tell him and walk towards the door

"hey" he says with a small smile

"hey" I say awkwardly

"look if you're coming here to apologise i forgive you and I'm over it" I say with a annoyed sigh

"no it's not that I just wanted to say Happy New year" he says awkwardly

"thanks" I say with a small smile

"Happy New year" I say with a awkward smile then go back inside

That wasn't even that bad

"1 minute left!" Talia squeals and grabs my hands

I smile and join my friends and family as we all count down

"Happy New year!" we all shout and hug each other

I can't wait to see what this year brings

"right let's get back to partying" Alex says and takes my hand. I laugh and start dancing with them again

After a few hours of dancing everyone started to leave and I made my way up to my bed. My mum said she'd clean up the mess because she wants me to get some sleep

So I quickly got my pajamas on, brushed my teeth and got into bed and went to sleep pretty fast
