I decided to go visit Lucas today as the boys are busy today

I've been here for about two hours and we have started colouring in his colouring book. Lucas's surgery went well but they can't let him go until they're sure he's okay

"so do you like this?" he smiles and holds up a drawing of a tiger

"wow Lucas that's great" I smile happily and give him a high five

"thanks for being here" he smiles

"aw, I'm happy I'm here" I smile

"so do you have a girlfriend?" I giggle

He looks at me and rolls his eyes

"Li come on, of course I do" he laughs

"oh I'll tell mum" I whisper

"no don't please, I was joking!" he says trying to cover my mouth as I laugh

"fine, fine" I laugh and he sits back down

"so do you have a boyfriend?" he asks as he picks up a pen

"no" I chuckle

"why, you're perfect" he tells me with a smile

"aww that's so sweet" I squeal

"hey there is a Richard Edwards outside asking to visit Lucas, apparently he's a close friend" a nurse says showing up at the door

"I don't know who that is, do you know Liani?" my mum asks me confused

"no" I say and go back to colouring with Lucas

"he can come in" Lucas smiles

"okay, let him in then" my mum smiles at the nurse

After a few seconds I heard my mum shout

"No!" she shouted which made Lucas and I look at her

She stood up and started walking towards the door. I looked over and saw...my Dad. Has he been following me or did he already know Lucas was here

"look, I mean no harm I just want to see my son" he says putting his hands up in defence

"leave!" she shouts

"sir we are going to have to ask you to leave now" the nurse says sounding annoyed

"fine" he sighs and walks away

I turn back around to Lucas

"you okay Lu?" I ask him softly

"yeah" he smiles

"Liani honey could I maybe ask you to leave, so I can get Lucas ready for bed?" my mum asks me awkwardly

"sure" I smile

I give Lucas and hug then I walk over to my mum and give her a hug too

"bye" I smile and close the door as I leave

I walk downstairs and then leave the building to see my Dad pacing around the front of the hospital

"Liani" he says walking up to me

I ran to me car but he went after me. I could feel my heart beating out of my chest

"leave me alone" I say struggling to speak

"just listen to me!" he shouts

There it is, shouting. My Dad has always had a habit for shouting. He shouted at me ever since I was young. People would usually think one of my biggest fears is spiders, the dark, heights. But it's not, it's men shouting at me. My dad made me feel this way at the start but then it happened when someone else shouted at me too. I never felt this way until my dad started getting into a bad habit of shouting. I don't know why it's men shouting instead of everyone, I guess it's maybe because in arguments their voice can seem threating

If they shout of excitement I'm not bothered but of course then shouting aggressively makes me petrified

"stop!" I shout back and get in my car and drive away feeling the tears run down my face

The whole car ride I was just trying to hold back my tears. Once I got back to the house I parked right outside and put my head down and cried. After I calmed down a bit I got out of my car and walked towards the door. I opened it slowly and made my way upstairs

"Liani?" I hear Jonah say and I wipe my tears

He was in his room

"y-yeah" I say still struggling to speak. I open the door and see Jonah just sitting down on his bed

"are you okay?" he asks sounding concerned. I just nod my head and smile but then I felt the tears so I turned away

"Liani" he says softly

"I'm sorry" I say turning around feeling the tears run down my face again

"no it's fine, come here" he says softly

So I walk over to his bed and sit next to him. He pulls me close to him and I cry onto his shoulder

The whole time I was crying he didn't ask anything. He just stroked my hair. I'm glad in a way he didn't ask anything, it was just a nice silence

After I calmed down again I look up at him

"where are the boys?" I ask him as I wipe my tears again

"they are apparently dying of hunger so they're getting food" he says with a small smile

"it was my Dad by the way" I say awkwardly and he looks at him confused

"he shouted at me and it scared me. It always does. He tried to visit my brother" I say feeling as If I'm losing my voice

"I'm so sorry, is there anything I can do?" he softy but sounding shocked

"just stay with me" I ask and hug into him

"of course" he says and hugs me back

Shit. I feel asleep

Is it tomorrow?

I open my eyes slowly to see I'm still with Jonah but he was already awake and the sky was blue. Wait what?

"good morning" he smiles

"hey" I laugh

"forgot I was here" he laughs

"yeah" I say and nod my head

"did you know the boys came back at like two in the morning" he tells me and rolls his eyes with a laugh

"well they must be tired" I say and sit up

"yeah they haven't woke up yet which is a surprise" he said and lay down

"how are you feeling today?" he asks looking me

"better" I smile

"Jonah get up" I laugh as I stand up

"no" he says and pulls the cover up over his face

"Jonah" I sigh and roll my eyes as I walk over to the side of the bed he lay down at

I pulled the cover of him slightly

"don't even think about it" he laughs and grabs my arms and pulls me back onto the bed and quickly gets onto me

"don't ever do that again" he laughs

"Jonah get off me" I sigh but I just end up laughing

"why?" he asks smiling

"cause I want my breakfast" I sigh

"fair enough" he says and gets off me

I got of his bed and we both walk over to the door

"thanks for letting me cry on your shoulder last night" I laugh and give him a kiss on the cheek and started to walk but he pulls me back

"why did you do that?" he asks confused

"I um-" I say nervously

"cause I kind of wish you did this instead" he says and lifts my chin up with his finger and gives me a soft quick kiss
