《His Touch | Jonah Marais》74

I walked back to the house telling myself what I should and shouldn't say to them
Once I got there I took a deep breath and walked in and saw Kaia and Jonah sitting on two different couches
"oh my god you're back" she smiles and stands up
"are you okay?" she asks me softly
Jonah doesn't know I like him so I can't exactly shout out loud I like him in this situation
"yous both lied to me but it's fine" I sigh and cross my arms
"no it's not Liani" Jonah says annoyed and stands up
"I know it's not Jonah!" I shout annoyed
"look I don't know what is or what was going to happen there but I feel betrayed" I say and sit my phone on the table
"what was this secret that was going to hurt me?" I ask Jonah and roll my eyes
"back in LA a few days before yous left Kaia came to visit me and make sure I was okay and she tried to kiss me. But if I thought I'd tell you, you wouldn't believe me" he says awkwardly
"wait was that, that night you said you went to beach?" I ask Kaia
"yes" she mumbles
"so you lied to everyone" I say and roll my eyes
"so now what was going on in the kitchen?" I ask them holding back my tears
"I was going to kiss Jonah" Kaia says sounding said as tear rolls down her cheek
"we haven't kissed" she adds
"am I supposed to believe that!" I say annoyed
"yes!" she shouts back
"why?" I ask
"cause we are best friends" she says trying to smile
"best friends don't lie, especially when I was asking you for advice about personally stuff and I don't even think I should take that advice" I say and roll my eyes

"Liani" she says softly
"leave" I say
"Liani" she says again
"just leave please" I sigh and she walks out of the house
"and you, don't lie to my face and make everything seem like its fine. If you like her good for you I don't give a fuck but don't lie to me and make me think what you've hid from me is getting hid for a good reason" I say annoyed and start to walk up stairs
"Liani I don't like her" he sighs
"sure, you had her pushed up against the counter. But it's fine if remember cause I don't care if people lie to me, I'd just like honesty when I ask for it" I glare and walk upstairs
I sat in my room for the night just thinking. Then I realised I've probably lost my best friend
In the morning I felt someone nudge my shoulder
"Liani" I head Jonah laugh
"what?" I sigh as I rub my eyes
"it's morning" he smiles
"well yeah but Randy told me that you'd guys don't have to get prepared for anything until the afternoon" I yawn
"but you still need to get up" he tells me and I sigh
I look over to Jonah. "Fine" I sigh
I get out of bed and walk out my room quick
"wait Liani" he says coming after me
I turn around and cross my arms
"are we like still friends or do you hate me, or-" he starts to say confused but I cut him off
"look, of course we're still friends I just am disappointed in you. Friends don't lie" I tell him feeling the awkward tension in the hall
"sorry" he says awkwardly
"okay" I say and walk downstairs
I don't hate Jonah I just don't feel ready to forgive anyone. How do I know if he's still lying or not?

"good morning" Daniel says and picks me up then spins me around
"you're not going to stop doing that are you" I laugh
"no" he laughs
"also I'm sorry for what happened to you yesterday, I hope everything gets better" he whispers
So I'm guessing all the boys know" I sigh
"yeah" he says awkwardly
"so what have we got to do today?" Zach walks in
"yous have meet up at twelve" I tell them
"oh yeah we do" Corbyn says remembering
"well I'm going to get ready" I smile and walk upstairs
I go into my room and change into white waist high skirt and a pink cami top. I put some makeup on and then I heard a knock at my door
"just a sec" I shout as I finish applying my mascara
I walk over to the door and open it to see Jonah
"do you want to go to the beach?" he asks me awkwardly
"aren't yous supposed to getting ready to go?" I ask him confused
"yes but we have time" he smiles
"plus I feel really bad for not telling you about all of this sooner" he says looking down
"sure let's go" I say with a small awkward smile
We walk to the beach not even talking to each other. I didn't really know what to say to him
Once we got there we went onto the sand
"so what are we doing here?" I ask him confused
"fixing a friendship" he smiles
"do you mind if I talk about Kaia" he asks me nervously
"go for it" I sigh as we walk across the sand
"when Kaia came to see if I was okay she was only there for a few minutes, she just said that she'll always be here for me and bunch of nice stuff" he says
"she leaned closer to me but I pushed her away and we didn't talk about it but I did think to myself do I like Kaia" he adds
"I did realise how she is a very nice caring girl and I respect her for that, then I knew the answer if I liked her or not" he says and clears his throat
He likes her, doesn't he
"and I didn't, well I don't still" he tells me
"why don't you?" I ask him awkwardly
"because I don't see her anymore as your friend and if she likes me or not she'll need to respect that" he says softly
"Liani I need to ask you something" he sighs
What now?...
