So. Its today, my birthday and I have absolutely no plans for it. Well Netflix and ice cream looks like the best idea then

I decide to check my phone and I see the time and realise the boys are probably busy or sleeping so I shouldn't bother them. I get up out of bed and just as I do that I hear my mum call my name

My mum has been here since yesterday and she's only staying a few days, she said she wanted to be here for my birthday

"Liani can you come downstairs?!" she shouts up to me

"mum, give me a second!" I shout back to her

I open my door and turn to my left to where the stairs are. I'm absolutely shattered, I shouldn't be on my phone so late. I kept my eyes on the stairs to make sure I wouldn't trip

"mum what-" I start to say as I look at my mum but I get a feeling the front door is open so I look foward and I thought I was dreaming

No way this can be real, is that Daniel? Like my best friend? Like Daniel Seavey? My mood brightened up and I jumped into his arms without even thinking

Romantic you maybe be thinking but no, I'm just so glad I've finally got to meet the boy who've I've only be able to see through a screen

"Daniel!" I shout in happiness

"Liani!" he says mocking me

"am I dreaming" I say and I hug him tighter as I started crying

"hopefully not" he laughs and lets me down

"so it would be much more complicated for all of the boys to come to visit you right now as we are still on tour but I couldn't bare the fact of missing another one of your birthday's" he smiles

"I love you" I just say and hug him again

"i love you too" he says and hugs me back

Long distance friendships are amazing, meeting a really sweet person that actually cares about you and comforts you when you need them. The only thing that really sucks is distance. They can live seven hours away from you or they can live in a whole different country and the chances of meeting them can be slim. But meeting them is one of the best feelings ever, to see them in real life. Because I've always thought when will we meet, soon or never.

Daniel has been a part of my life that I haven't ever been able to properly thank for all the times he's been there for me and he's truly one of the most important people in my life and I'd be gutted without him

"so how in hell did you manage to get here I thought you are tour?" I ask him confused but I couldn't stop smiling

"our next show isn't until two more days so I thought I should finally meet you" he smiles

"I'm guessing they had to keep it a secret from me" I laugh

"yeah, also when I asked you when is your birthday that's because I wanted to triple make sure I had the right day" he smiles

"aww I need to take a photo" I hear my mum say sounding like she is crying and when I saw her she was. I kinda forgot she was here

"Mum-" I sigh with a laugh

"just one" she smiles

Daniel and I look at each other and make a funny face for the photo

"I'll need it for facebook" she smiles and walks away looking at the photo

"anyway" I laugh confused at my mums behaviour

"oh!" I say remembering something

"that you're still in your pajamas" Daniel says laughing at me

"shut up" I say and hit him playfully trying to hold back a laugh but that didn't work

"right so in here" I say and push the door open

"is where we would call you" I say and point to the tv with a smile and he looks around seeming shocked

"wow" he says smiling as his eyes scan the room

"I remember seeing you always sit in this part of the floor" he says and sits down right down where I sat when we called

"and you'd be telling my mum about what you are your mum cooked" he smiles and stands up

"how about we do baking or cooking video for your youtube channel" he says sounding excited

"you sure cause you'll get questioned for being in my video" I say awkwardly

"and what? I can't be friends with you now" he smiles

"good point" I smile

"well my tripod is literally in the kitchen with my camera, we can make a cake. I have the ingredients" I smile

"yeah let's me a cake" he says in a funny voice as we leave the room which made me laugh

We went into the kitchen and I set my camera up and started the video

"hey everyone hope you're good and having an amazing day or night, I'd like to start this video of by saying thank you for 2 Millon subscribers" I say excited

"calm down Liani" I say trying to take a deep breath but I just laugh

"anyway I have special guest, you may know him from a certain Boyband so why don't we introduce him" I say with a funny wink at the end

"that was funny" he says walking into the camera laughing

"make your entrance more dramatic" I tell him pushing him out of frame

"hey I'm Daniel!" he says sliding into frame

"that will do" I laugh

"how about you say something" I tell him with a smile

"alright so hi everyone, today is Liani's birthday so we thought sorry Liani thought we should make a cake for views" he says sounding serious

Which made me burst out laughing. Yup I'm just going to be laughing all day

"so because I'm not a youtuber I'll pass this back on to Lili, it's been a while since that nickname has been used" Daniel says looking at me at the end

"yes because I got called that when I was five" I say opening the bag of flour carefully to make sure it didn't go everywhere

But I went everywhere, it was messier than I thought I was going to be but atleast me made a successful cake and had fun making it

Unfortunately today can't last forever but it has definitely been the best birthday ever. I finally got to meet my best friend. I made a cake with him, watched movies and shows, walked about my neighbourhood and then we finished it of in on of the best way possible

I got my music up and we just finished watching the Kissing booth so I looked up what was best to play right now

"come on party with me, I don't when when or if I'll see you again" I smile

"sure" he smiles and stands up sitting his phone on a chair

"I've been all through the country!" I shout probably annoying all my neighbours but I didn't care

But unfortunately the time came. Daniel had to get a plane to meet the boys again. I was sad, of course I was I'm glad I spent my day with him but I don't want him to go

"right looks like I'm ready to go" he says as he start walking downstairs

"okay" I say feeling sad

"hey" he says turning around to me with a small smile

"I'll miss you Liani, I'll still talk to you every single day and I hope to see you sometime soon again" he tells me softly

"I'll miss you too" I say and wrap my arms around him and he puts his around mine

"thanks for today" I say to him quietly

"I'm so glad I got to finally spend sometime with you" he says and we pull away from the hug

He opens the door and looks at me

"goodbye Liani" he says giving me a smile

"bye Daniel" I cross my arms smile back at him and then the door closes
