get dark outside.

ziggy sat in her cabin, on her bed, pouring the paint into a big bucket.

ziggy was playing a loud rock song on her radio, then suddenly, she heard knocking on her door.

"go away, cindy!" ziggy yelled.

"it's y/n." y/n spoke.

ziggy furrowed her brows in confusion, seeing as y/n never came to her cabin.

"go away, y/n!" ziggy yelled.

y/n didn't listen, and she opened the cabin door, seeing what the girls did to her cabin.

"ziggy is a witch bitch." y/n read from ziggy's walls. "ziggy sucks cocks in hell. jesus."

"that looks like blood." y/n said, pointing at the red paint ziggy was stirring.

"yeah, well, i didn't have a pig, so.." ziggy reminded her.

"carrie. nice." y/n complimented, remembering when she read the book.

ziggy looked up at y/n, in shock. "you've read carrie?"

"yeah." y/n replied. "still, i don't know, paint seems a little pedestrian."

"oh, i'm sorry. do you have a better idea?" ziggy sarcastically asked y/n.

"maybe." y/n responded.

"shouldn't you be, like, turning me in to cindy or something?" ziggy reminded y/n.

"i'm supposed to be at color war." y/n said. "but, i noticed you and cindy weren't there, so-"

"so you decided to stalk me?" ziggy cut her off.

"check in on you." y/n corrected. "clearly, you seem fine though."

y/n turned around to leave ziggy alone, and started heading out of the cabin.

"what's your idea?" ziggy asked y/n, stopping y/n.

y/n turned around to face ziggy, and held up keys that she took from nick.

"science and nature." y/n spoke.

ziggy stared at y/n, with a smirk appearing on her face.

sheila went over to the outhouse, after getting a note from will to go there.

sheila heard a slow love song playing as she walked in, seeing candles on the floor.

sheila shut the door with a smile. "will! this is too cute. could have done it in your bunk, but i guess this is kind of hot."

sheila opened a stall up, seeing a note placed there.

sheila curiously took the note, and opened it.

look up xoxo - the witch

sheila obliged, and looked up to the ceiling, a bucket quickly poured down, with ziggy and y/n tugging at the rope.

cockroaches quickly fell down into sheila as she screamed.

ziggy and y/n quickly ran out of the outhouse, with y/n locking the door, and ziggy grabbing y/n's hand as they ran.

ziggy and y/n quickly ran back into ziggy's cabin, shutting the door.

"did you hear her?" y/n laughed.

"she sounded like a frog." ziggy joked, and mocked sheila's scream.

"what'd i tell you?" y/n reminded her.

"fuck paint." ziggy repeated.

"fuck paint." y/n also said.

ziggy smiled, and turned to y/n, looking down at y/n's lips, then back at y/n.

"who are you?" ziggy asked y/n.

"y/n l/n." y/n smiled, putting her arm out for ziggy to shake.

ziggy smiled back at y/n, and shook her hand.

ziggy and y/n were in ziggy's cabin, asking each other questions, trying to get to know one another better.

"uh.. what about you and cindy?" y/n asked ziggy. "do you guys get along?"

ziggy's smile faded, as she looked down.

"thought these were supposed to be easy questions." ziggy commented.

"says who?" y/n asked. "there's no rules."

ziggy looked at the snake in the cabin, trying to change the subject. "god, i hate snakes."

"why are you dodging my question?" y/n spoke.

"why do you care?"

"i'm just curious."

"i've hated her since i was a baby. next question."

"okay." y/n agreed, with a small smile.

"what's your truth?" ziggy asked y/n.

"what do you mean?" y/n scoffed, confused.

"you like to put up this other personality." ziggy told y/n.

y/n scoffed. "that's not true."

"yes it is." ziggy calmly said. "because, in reality. you like rock music, breaking the rules, and being friends with people like me."

y/n's stare on ziggy, softened, sort of realizing she was right. "i mean, sometimes you have to change if you wanna get out of shadyside."

"why do you want to get out of here so bad?" ziggy asked her.

"who wouldn't?" y/n replied. "it sucks. there's murders every few years. and apparently the kids like talking about a 'witch named sarah fier.'"

"you don't believe in her?" ziggy asked her.

"no. there's got to be an explanation." y/n says.

"okay." ziggy decided to drop the situation.

y/n went to sit down, ziggy then sighed and decided to sit down next to y/n.

"there was a time.." ziggy began, opening up to y/n about cindy. "when things were good between us. when my dad was around, and my mom was happy, and my sister and me, we would um.. we'd throw toilet paper on mr. corkle's tree, and then go jump in the lake in all our clothes and.. and now.. now it's just gone, and everything's shit."

"i guess that's what happens when you live in shadyside." ziggy added in. "everything's turns to shit eventually."

ziggy looked down at her arm, noticing y/n was fiddling with ziggy's bandage.

y/n and ziggy's talk was cut short by then hearing a girl screaming.
