Ryan was sitting down at the table, working on a new song for their EP they were going to release soon, when Maddie sat down next to him with a smile on her face.

"You know what we should do tonight, babe?"

"Hmm..?" He asked only half listening.

"Get a tattoo."

That got his attention.

"Are you serious?" Ryan asked, setting his pencil down and looking at her.

"Why not," She replied with a shrug. "I haven't gotten one yet, and you already have a few so I thought we could get one together."

"Yeah! Let's do it." He replied, returning her smile before standing up and pulling her with him.

Maddie grabbed some cash before following Ryan outside. They made their way downtown to the tattoo parlor, which wasn't even a ten minute walk from the tour bus.

"What are you thinking we should get?" He asked, grabbing her hand as they walked.

"I was thinking something small..." She trailed off, lost in her thoughts.

"I have the perfect idea, how about a star, behind our ear?"

"That's perfect!" She replied, eyes lighting up.

After a few more minutes of walking and idle conversation they were in front of the parlor. Ryan opened the door for Maddie and followed her inside. He went and talked to one of the tattoo artists as Maddie just looked around at the different designs. Then she found a simple blue star that was perfect.

"Where were you guys?" Jamie asked a look of annoyance on his face. "Our show is in an hour."

"We went to get a tattoo," Maddie replied grinning, peeling off the bandage behind her right ear to show the guys.

"Damn, first you're running away from home, and now this. I gotta say, Maddie, you're out of control."

"Oh, shut up, Nash," She said in return, smirking.
