"Do you know for certain who did this?" I asked.
"As if it isn't obvious." Zara snapped. "That bitch." She muttered.
"Okay, it's settled. I'm going to kill her." Tamsin moved to leave, but Ali held her back.
"They're going to hound her, Ali." Gem sighed. "Paps are already outside the community, waiting to tail you guys."
"It's just a rumor, though." I stated. "Right?"
"That doesn't mean they won't interfere with your privacy." Ali sighed. "This is what I was afraid of." She groaned.
"They're going to hack into her accounts. I'm sure her phone number already got leaked." Zara stated. I grabbed my phone to see messages from countless unknown numbers. "Yep, that's done. Her family is going to be subjected to harassment." She groaned. "Francesca really overdid herself this time." She crossed her arms. "We'll do everything in our power to stop the harassment." Zara gave me a determined look.
"You should take her back to the dorms. Maybe help her pack her stuff to stay here for a bit? Just until everything calms down a little." Gem suggested.
"I agree. I'm sorry, but you'll have to take classes remote for a bit." Ali's eyes softened.
"Don't think I have an option." I sighed. "Shall we go now?" Ali reluctantly nodded.

I felt her staring at me the moment we entered the car. The chauffeur silently drove us. I stared out the window to see flashing lights. Thankfully, the windows were tinted so they couldn't see inside. I grabbed Ali's hand and took a deep breath.
I swiveled around in my seat to see that they were following us. There were at least 10 cars following us! Why are they following us?!

"Nic." I looked at Ali. "It's okay." She gave me a soft smile.
"Why are they following us, Ali?" I started to get nervous. We had now entered a tunnel.
"I'm sorry." She looked down. "They're going to be harassing us for a while." I heard the chauffeur curse at the paps recklessly driving behind us, but I didn't pay him any attention. "I really didn't want this for you. This is all my fault."
"It's not." I kissed her shoulder.
I then heard the chauffeur let out a loud gasp. Ali's eyes widened in fear. I scrunched my brows and looked behind me to see a car barreling towards us. The paps had obviously lost control. There was no way the chauffeur could swerve out the way. Before our cars collided, I saw Ali unbuckle herself and climb over me. My eyes widened as I saw the metal door bend and the glass shatter. Ali tried to cover me to the best of her ability. I yelled as I saw Ali scream. And then, everything went black.
