I didn't know what to do. I was panicking. I never thought I'd be forced to face Nicola, especially when I've been giving her the cold shoulder. She defiantly eyed me down, so I did the first thing that came to my mind.
"Security!"
"Ali, stop that." Gemma slapped my shoulder.
"Ali, please-"
"Stop." I warned Nicola. Nicola opened her mouth to say something, but Eric returned with my drink.
"Who's this babe?" He kissed my cheek while eying Nicola.
I didn't have time to respond since Nicola left in a haste. Gemma ran after her, which caused Eric to become even more confused. I just laughed and said she was an acquaintance. Eric asked if he should have security escort her out, but I said that she was probably on her way out anyways.
Eric took me to the center and began dancing with me. I'd fake a laugh every time he criticized someone's outfit as being too cheap. I know guys like Eric were only after me for my money, but I couldn't careless. I'd already be having a prenup, so I would be protected. I wouldn't put it past Eric or his father to try wearing me down about a prenup.
Eric slid his hands down my waist before grabbing my bum. I smirked at him as he pulled me closer. I could feel his tiny friend against me. He began making suggestive comments. I pulled him by the tie so that I could crash my lips against his. That was when I felt myself be pushed.
I stumbled backwards to see the rude individual. My eyes widened in shock at Nicola. She was sending Eric daggers. She then turned to me with a pissed off look. Her face was red with anger... or was she flushed? Is she drunk?

"What the hell?!" Eric got in her face. "Watch where you're going, bitch!"
"Who the hell do you think you are?!" She shoved him back. Yep, she's definitely drunk.
"Who the hell do you think you are?! I'm Eric Young! How dare you-"
"I don't give a shit about your name! How dare you touch her!" She was now in his face.
"I'll have you kicked out!"
"No, I'll have Ali kick you out!" She screamed.
"She will?" Eric was confused.
"She will!" Nicola fervently stated.
"I will?" I was confused. Nicola gave me a hash glare, causing me to stutter. "I-I will... wait, what?" It took me a moment to break free from Nicola's hypnotizing eyes.
"She's drunk! I will not tolerate-"
"I'll deal with her, Eric." He scoffed at my dismissal. "There are eyes on us. Control yourself." I warned him, causing him to gulp and nod. "Let's have a dance." I took Nicola's hand and led her away, not giving her time to react.
Nicola tugged my hand. She then turned around to face Eric, before shouting at him.
"I'M HER GIRLFRIEND YOU DIPSHIT!" She confidently stated before pulling my face down so that our lips met.
I instinctively kissed her back before realizing what I was doing. I then swiftly broke the kiss. I sent glares to people who were watching with wide eyes. I was going to dance with her to the slow song, but she looked about ready to pass out. I rolled my eyes as I took her up to my room.
I snapped my fingers and motioned for the couple to stop making out and leave the hallway. They scurried back down to the party. I then led her into my room. I was going to assist her to my bed, but she ran off and jumped onto my bed. She rolled onto her "side" of the bed and motioned for me to lay next to her.

I kept a stern gaze on her, but she just broke out in a smile. When I sat on the bed, she wrapped her arms around my waist and pulled me down. I gasped when she placed her head on my chest. Instinctively, I wrapped my arms around her and played with her hair.
"I love you so much, Ali." I heard her whisper.
I was about to respond, but she was fast asleep. I groaned. What have I gotten myself into?

Oh, I also forgot to mention that I have taken inspiration from waaaay tooo many novels that I liked, and while there aren't any specific ones that I based this upon there are a few that I definitely took inspiration from like : the author's POV, chronicles of the heavenly demon [you can probably see where this inspired me ;)], etc.
