"What in the absolute fu-"

"Let me stop you right there, Tamsin." I held my hand up. "I wanted to handle that privately, not publicly. I'm not amused by her childish actions."

"That's not what I'm mad about!" I lifted a brow, causing her to sigh. "Well, I'm not happy she made it public... but, my big issue is what the hell happened?! I thought you guys were good."

"Since when do you like her." Tamsin blushed and averted her eyes. "And I also thought we were good until she blew me off to date Skye." Tamsin's eyes widened. "Yeah and she also thinks I'm a coward since I never went public with her."

"I didn't get the impression she was a clout chaser?" Tamsin was deep in thought.

"Neither did I, but someone obviously filled her head." Tamsin and I locked eyes. "I don't know what Skye told her about me, but it was clearly enough to put doubts in her mind."

"Are you two officially done?" Yaz slammed the door open. Astrid was following close behind and made a beeline to me.

"Yes, I would never go back to that craziness."

"Never say never." I heard them all mumble.

"So how do you want us to act around her?" Astrid inquired.

"Oh, she's lost all the privileges. She's no longer one of us." The girls shivered at my harsh words. "Let her fend for herself. My time of being her protector is over. Let her be fed to the wolves." Tamsin gulped at the demonic glint in my eye.

My first order of business was to find the registrar. I then had them alter Nicola's documentation. No longer would she be getting spending money. She has to now find a job. I found out her GPA was a 3.87 (good, but not good enough for perfection). I had them send her a letter stating that in order to keep her scholarship, she had to at least have a GPA of 3.9.

The lady thought I was crazy, but I told her to mind her business lest she be out of a job. I also stated that the gratitude letters had to be once a month, she had to join an extracurricular, and take a heavier load. I just smirked at the horrified office worker before sauntering out.

My friends were waiting outside. They didn't approve of what I did, but who cares. Their opinion is minute, inconsequential, not even worth the thought in my head. Astrid opened her mouth to speak, but I walked past her and went to training.

Ivan greeted me with a big smile. He had the yoga mats set up. Before he could open his mouth, I told him to actually train me in tennis, otherwise I'd fire him and get a better trainer. Ivan was in shock at my bluntness. He looked past me at my terrified friends, but I directed his gaze back to me. I told him unless they are paying his salary, then he should give me his full attention and not expect my friends to save him.

His smile faded and he meekly nodded, like the help should. My practice with Ivan was intense. Even if my heart wanted to give out, it wouldn't out of pride. I whizzed ball after ball past Ivan. He was worried I'd overwork myself, so I told him that unless he's a doctor, his concern is a hindrance to my training.

Astrid asked to spend some time together since I had finished training. I told her I had to work, so I couldn't. Yaz then asked about tomorrow, which I declined. Astrid then asked about the weekend, but I told them I was busy. Yaz was beyond frustrated and wanted to say something, but I slid into my Bentley and shut the door in their faces.

I revved the engine, startling Astrid. I made sure to drive close to them, causing Astrid to pull her foot away at the last minute. I sped all the way home, rivaling Gemma's unsafe driving.

I walked inside to be greeted by Gemma. I really wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone. She tried to offer me a hug, but I pushed her away. Gemma was in shock and inquired what was wrong. I told her to mind her damn business and to stop inserting herself in people's lives. Gemma was hurt, but I couldn't careless.

I brushed past her and went straight to my room. I slammed my bedroom door shut and decided to take a shower. Since it was a bit dark outside, my wall sized fish tank was glowing. Tears escaped my eyes when I gazed at the two new additions to my collection: two jelly fishes that I named Nicola and Alicia.
