《Agere Academy》The Agere Academy

*Much Earlier, third person pov*
Georgia Banks was just one of the many students at the hidden Agere Academy. Well, a new student. As the car pulled up to the school, Georgia shuffled into the school nervousl, holding her bags. A kind man named Zander approached her. "You must be Georgina May Banks?"
Georgia looked down at her feet and didn't say a word. Zander smiled and placed a hand on her shoulder. "It's okay, Georgia. C'mon now."
Both of them made their way up the stairs and into a dormitory full of littles. Georgia's eyes finally looked up and a small smile formed on her face. A girl with a large, wobbly bow on her head pointed at a bed. "Yours."
Georgia sat on the bed and fiddled with her fingers. Zander tapped her on the shoulder. "Georgia, I'll be leaving you to settle in. When you come down for dinner, I'll let you eat and then we'll talk. Bye now, sweetie." Zander said this with a smile then shut the door. All the girls instantly buzzed around Georgia, asking questions.

I put my hands over my ears and brearhed slowly. I hated any loud and sudden noises. The girls laughed at me then moved back and I felt even worse. I didn't even want to be here. My parents sent me here. Originally, I thought this would be a fun, happy place. Not a school where you share dorms with girls and study. What about the age regression? hell no. I leaned over to my bags and I took out my comfort stuffie, Ted. I knew the name was basic, but I've had the bear since I was 3. I don't intend to look as if I'm a little with Ted, but I looks like it sometimes.

I felt someone staring, so I looked over to see a girl with brown pigtails and a zebra teddy. She hadn't been in the crowd asking me the questions I ignored. She smiled gently and sat on the edge of my bed. "My name is Rose, you're Georgia, right?" Rose asked. I nodded in response. I was itching to ask a question, but I was too nervous to speak. I managed to stammer out,
"W-whats the deal with the dorm? Not to be rude, but on the brochure it showed custom agere bedrooms."
Rose smiled, quite sadly, to be honest.
"Well, the dorms are for the littles that don't have a caregiver. We all get sorted after a week of us being here."
I sighed. No privacy until I had a daddy or mommy. I snuggled into Ted. My eyes closed softly and I felt Rose squeezing my hand. I opened my eyes reluctantly.
"Georgia, it's time for dinner."

Moonshot
Gregarious businessman Evin Tumble is fascinated by the sudden and inexplicable appearance of a low-orbiting moon. Specifically, he's interested in shooting it down with a giant cannon. The moon is only about eight miles overhead, but it's high enough and quick enough that nobody can reach it by balloon or airship. He hires our protagonists: taciturn Iseult Morrin, cheerful Sean Whelan, and nervous Íde Ceallaigh, to help him with his obsession. As our heroes are dispersed across the continent to perform tasks for Tumble, and the moon-hunt draws closer, they become increasingly suspicious of their benefactor's motives and true nature. Moonshot is a story centred around struggling with confidence, the difficulty of being an immigrant, and the duality of truth, all clad in the trappings of an urban fantasy. It is character-driven, from the heart, and based on tropes and ideas that are missing from a lot of contemporary fantasy (a push beyond the flawless-yet-somehow-still-needs-rescuing-by-an-oafish-man heroine trope, a touch of cosmic magic based on the shared geometries of Celtic and Arab art).
