Third Person's POV

Days has passed peacefully and now, Dymitri's 17th birthday has come.

King woke up earlier than what he planned. He wanted to prepare early for his kitten's birthday, and to do his plan for his surprise later.

As he left his Kitten still fast asleep cuddling with his pillow, he found himself in the kitchen with his mother, Titania and Demeter.

The two seemed to be talking when they felt Theodore's presence inside the room. The two turned around and saw him, flashing a smile, the King gladly returned it.

"I didn't expect to see you early this morning son." Titania said.

"It's his birthday." The man replied and Titania chuckled.

"We have a guest later." Titania informed her son.

"Who is it?"

"Your grandmother." King's eyes widened a bit after hearing his mother's words.

"Grandma will come here?"

"The former-Queen of the titan kingdom?" Demeter asked shocked and surprised at the same time.

"She said she wants to meet his grandson's soon to be lover." She winked and somehow, King's ears went red.

"Oh my deities! Are you sure your mother will come here?" Demeter asked, shocked.

"Of course."

"Now that you're here, let's start organize the house for the party later." Titania announced and the three began to work.

A few moments later, they saw Kieffer and Ali approaching the room, Ali with a warm expression while Kieffer had this face that he could kill someone.

"Looks like someone got up on the wrong side of the bed." Theodore teased and Kieffer glared.

"Shut up." The man groaned and Ali giggled.

"I woke him up early than what we expected last night. He seems to he not a morning person." Ali giggled and Theodore laughed.

"Bingo!" He exclaimed and Kieffer intensified his glare.

Fast forward, their preparation come into a halt when they decided to have breakfast.

Demeter told Theodore to call the rest for the breakfast while Titania fetch his youngest son in his room.

Theodore went to Skye's room, knocking thrice no one replied to his calls until he decided to ope the door and personally wake up his guest until his lips formed a smirked when his eyes landed on the sleeping Skye with a cuddling Exequile in his back, head buried in the crook of Skye's neck.

He approached the two mischievously, shaking Exequile who's covering Skye's whole body.

The man grumbled, cuddling closer into the source of warmth. He slapped his friend's arm making Exequile to burst his eyes open.

When he turned around, he saw Theodore smirking at him and he smirked too.

"It's time to eat, get your lazy ass down the kitchen." Theodore notified him before going out with a smirk.

He then went to his room to fetch the birthday boy but surprised when he saw the door opened revealing a yawning little kitten coming out.

"Morning sunshine." The King greeted making Dymitri to look him up and smiled.

"Morning!" He said and rushed to hug him.

The man chuckled and ruffled his morning hair, somehow, Theodore felt that the normal Dymitri is back again.

"How's your sleep?" He asked.

"Nice, and comfy." The boy mumbled while rubbing his eye to chase the sleepiness away.

"Come, your mother is already waiting downstairs with the rest." King explained and they went downstairs.

They all gathered down there, greeting the birthday boy a happy birthday, giving him hugs and kisses from his friends and mother until they started eating.

Hours has passed until his birthday started, maids, butlers, guards already greeted Dymitri, the birthday party started by singing Dymitri a happy birthday song.

"It's time to blow your candle." Titania announced and tye me cake, made by Taylor and Tyler was set in the center of the table.

King lit the candles, motioning the boy to prepare himself for blowing the candle when Titania cut them off.

"Oh Theo, just go proceed to Dymitri's party. I have someone to fetch off." She winked and exited the room.

"Make a wish babe." King said looking down to Dymitri.

Dymitri nodded and closed his eyes and chanted his wish in his mind. As he opened his eyes, he leaned closer to his birthday cake and blow his candle until something unexpected happened.

People inside felt an urge waved upon them, until Dymitri fell in the floor unconscious.

"Dymitri!" His friends and mother shouted in chorus seeing how Dymitri fell unconscious. King hugged him protectively and started to shake him and call his name but the boy didn't move an inch.

"What's happening?" Theodore asked in panic.

"Get out of the way." They heard a very unfamiliar voice coming from a woman.

Heads turned around and saw Titania standing in the entrance and a woman with white hair, although she looks young but her hair represents the wisdom.

"Grandma." Theodore muttered as the woman marched to his way, still holding the unconscious boy.

She kneeled down and put her hand in the boy's forehead. She flashed an unexplainable emotion through her face and looked worriedly to his grandson.

"What's happening to my son?" Demeter asked in complete worry. The woman looked at her.

"Do you happen to help someone when you're pregnant?" The woman asked and Demeter was caught off guard.

"W-what are you talking about?"

"Just answer my question." Demeter tried her best to remember, if she helped someone while she's pregnant.

"I think there's someone I did helped back then." She admitted.

"Put this kid in bed and let him rest for a while." She demanded.

"And you, we'll be going to talk about what happened to you during your pregnant days, Demeter." The previous queen of Titan Kingdom exclaimed and caught Demeter off guard.

King hurriedly yet carefully carried his Kitten in his arm and put him in the sofa in the living room.

"Sit down all of you, we'll be discussing this matter now."

"Ma? What's happening to him?" Titania asked her mother.

"It's that person's curse, or I should say, gift." Tiara said looking to Demeter.

"Tell me all what happened to you in the past then." She added.

Dymitri's friends, including Titania and Theodore.

Demeter sighed and sat down beside where his son lies.

"It happens after I know the truth that I was pregnant with Dymitri after his father raped me." She began.

"I was so devastated back then, leaving me behind with his child and married someone else. I ran away, I planned to kill Dymitri that time." She admitted making Theodore to glare at her hard.

"One day, I was walking at night, thinking about Dymitri. I was about to cross the road when I heard a pained cry near the woods. Of course, as a curious being, I followed the sound until I found someone laying under the tree, bloodied."

"He's a black hooded figure, a large wound in his leg. I helped him. That time, I have some knowledge about healing and healed him properly. He thanked me after. I asked him what he was doing in the woods but he remained silent until,...."

"Until what?" Theodore asked.

"Until he spoke and rubbed my stomach."

"You're pregnant."

Demeter was surprised and taken a back. It's not even 4 weeks and her stomach is still flat but the stranger know so well.

"No matter what happens, don't let him go." The hooded figure says and her eyes widened.

"H-him?" She asked surprised.

"Your son, will be a strong person someday. Don't let him go." He replied and then rest his hand in her stomach gor a while, until his hands flashed a light that seeped through her skin. Demeter happened to close her eyes because of the sudden light and when she opened her eyes, the hooded figure was already gone.

"I was bewildered that time. He happened to disappear after he rubbed my stomach and I tried to find him but I failed." She looked down into the floor, wary and sad.

"I contemplated with myself, trying to think what will he the best choice to be done until I decided to keep Dymitri as my son." She added and a single tear dropped from her violet eye.

"It's okay now dear, you did the right thing to do and that is to keep Dymitri beside you. You raised him into a good and kind kid, just like you." Tiara explained, rubbing her back soothingly like a mother she would be.

"Well, now that it's all settled in, let's just pray to the deities above for Dymitri's sake. He would be awake soon or by now." She added.

"For now, let's just enjoy the party in behalf of the celebrant, shall we?" She winked at her daughter Titania and she lead Dymitri's friends into the tables.

Tiara, Demeter and Theodore remained where the unconscious Dymitri is, looking down at him with worries.

"What's happening on him Grandma?" Theodore asked her.

"I'm afraid that Dymitri's power is starting to awake my child." She admitted making the looked at her.

"His powers to awake?" Theodore unbelievably said.

"Yes, it happens that his mother helped someone back then is just not an ordinary person."

"Can you explain it more further?" Theodore asked.

"Your son, Dymitri is fated to be born strong and powerful Demeter, just how the Gods and Goddesses decided. They found you worthy of their gift and has already blessed you with Dymitri, not until you found him." Tiara looked at Demeter. Demeter glanced at her confused.

"Who's him?"

"Death." Tiara answered making Demeter to fell silent.

"It's just that, it's weird to see the God of Death roaming in the lands where he usually stays at his lair. And to think of it, why he is bloodied that time?"

"How can you say that it's Death that I helped back then? How?" Demeter asked the former queen of the Titans, still confused with her thoughts.

"After I put my hand into your son's forehead my child." She admitted.

"I'm a titan blessed with foreseeing abilities. And the moment I laid my hand into your son, I immediately saw Death's image inside your child's head." She added to put sense on it.

"Don't worry dear, your son is strong like you. He'll wake up soon. It's just his powers starting to flow more freely on his body. After restraining them for 17 years, he'll be fine." Tiara said patting her shoulder to cheer her up and smiled before leaving her alone with her son's suitor.

"Don't worry too much Ma. I'll be always on his side and I won't leave him alone. I'll protect him." Theodore promised making Demeter to smile.

"You know that Dymitri is the only family left on me right?" She asked and Theodore nodded.

"Please, don't leave him? Okay?" She asked and Theodore smiled at her.

"Never." He assured and Demeter smiled. With one final glance at her sleeping son, she walked away and went to the others who are currently having a conversation.

King looked at his sleeping kitten, admiring his beauty, he promised to himself,

"I will never let you harmed by the others Dymitri, never. Not on my watch."
