~Jenna's Point of View~
I was beginning to worry. Even more so because we lost Riley and River. It was down to four of us now. As we entered the lab, we only saw two scientists, busy with there sick work.
"J-Jenna!" they exclaimed in fear. I glared at them. Lightning sprung towards them, throwing them against the walls. Walking towards a table, I poured chemicals onto a cloth. Pressing it against there faces, they were out cold.
"Are they going to be ok?" squeaked Trinity. I rolled my eyes.
"What's the purpose of this room?" Merick asked me.
"This is the main lab. It's where they keep the drugs and where they give them to kids," I answered.
"What kind of drugs?" Damien asked me, worry in his eyes.
"Think of it like super steroids. For elemental power," I said.
"Then where are the subjects?" Merick asked.
"Well, we already met two of them. Black must have sent them out to take us out," I answered.
"And who is Black?" questioned Damien.
"The boss," I mumbled, my fists tight. Jared Black. Creator of everything here. An important political figure. That's how he made the law of which all level fives had to come here. People thought it was so they wouldn't get hurt. He had different reasons.
Looking around the room, things looked the same as it always did. It was just a white room of beds and needles. It sickened me.
Walking through the lab, I had to close my eyes so memories wouldn't come flooding back. Suddenly thudding footsteps could be heard. We all stopped. Peeking out the window, I saw about twenty men. I swore under my breath.
"Turns out we're staying in here," I mumbled. My three comrades looked at me, scared. I knew this wouldn't be good. We were outnumbered and they had guns. Special guns.
Kicking down the door, the men swarmed the room, yelling orders to each other. Standing back to back with each other in a circle, we watched them closely. I swore I could hear there hearts pounding.
"Boys, boys, boys. Can't we play nicely?" I stated loudly, raising my hands innocently. They lifted there guns instantly, expecting something. Smart boys.
"Guess not," I said, shaking my head. I could tell which one was the leader because he was barking orders the most. He's going to be the first lucky one. With a flick of my arm, lightning raced towards him. But not at his body. At his gun.
The gun started to shake and shocks came out of it. It electricuted him. Then I decided to blow it up. The man fell back, his last words being screams of agony. His little helpers weren't happy. At once they pointed their guns at me and fired.

"Not going to happen," I heard Damien mumble. He sent an immense amount of lightning right straight to all of there hearts. But that didn't stop the bullets from coming.
Trinity jumped in and swept them all away with a furious wind. They hit the walls with a dull metallic thud. The men instantly started to reload, their hands shaking. I saw Merick's eyes stare out the window. It was still dark out and the window was open. Uh oh.
Swirls of sinister darkness came together from the night. Under Merick's will, they flew through the air and came upon the soldiers, who's jaws were hung open in a frightened awe, as they shook from Damien's lightning.
The darkness crawled smoothly into the men, who started to cough as their eyes began to only see black. Next to me, Trinity shivered at the sight. One by one, like dominos, the men fell to the hard ground. Stepping over the bodies, we hurried out of the lab.
Running silently through the hallways, our hearts thrashed against our chests as we kept ourselves alert for more enemies.
~Emma's Point of View~
Fire searched for each bottle, exploding them. The room was dim and a hundred bottles were spaced out around the room.
"Excellent," smiled the man. Tristan rolled his eyes. The man gave him a look and Tristan bent his head down in silence.
For the past hour, the man had been giving me tests to do. I enjoyed completing them to the best of my ability. For some unexplainable reason, I wanted his approval. And seeing Tristan's face contort in anger almost gave me the revenge I needed. Almost.
We left the room and now returned to the lab. I jumped up and sat on one of the beds. I did amazing on those tests. Back at Angel Academy, we didn't do this kind of stuff. It wasn't as fun as this. Swinging my legs back and forth, I watched the man in excitement.
"Well Emma. You did.... ok today," the man said softly. My eyes furrowed.
"What do you mean? I did perfect," I answered loudly, my head racing. The man shrugged. My stomach tightened.
"I thought you would have done better," he said, shaking his head slightly.
"What did I do wrong? Tell me!" I beamed, on the verge of begging. I wanted to be the best he's ever seen.
"Well... I do know a way. But I don't think you can handle it," the man said, as he walked towards his desk. He began stacking papers busily like I wasn't even there.
"What is it?" I asked. Next to me, Tristan froze. I ignored him.
"Just some medicine. It'll make you perform better. Maybe even more powerful than a level five," the man soothed. More than a level five?! That's unbelievable!

"I'll do it," I stated. The room was silent. No one spoke for at least a minute. The man just kept organizing his papers.
"I said I'll do it!" I yelled. Finally, he looked up at me. I could have swore he grinned, but I must have imagined it. Walking to a table, he picked up a needle. I slightly winced.
"I promise it won't hurt," he murmured. Softly sticking it in my arm, I began to whimper. He shushed be softly repeatedly. He was right about it not hurting. But it did not feel like a regular injection.
It felt like forced elemental power was running through the needle and into my body. The power didn't feel normal. It was super charged and foreign to me. Almost at once, it felt like my own power lit up and began to grow.
Tristan gasped. I didn't know it, but my dark hazel eyes brightened and glowed intensely.
~Merick's Point of View~
I was gettting sick of running around, avoiding the guys in black. Every minute my heart sank even deeper. Anything could be happening to Emma.
We jumped as a door opened ten feet from us. Out came Emma, Tristan, and some older man.
"Emma!" We all yelled and ran towards her. Tristan stepped in front of her. I shoved him roughly aside. Hugging her tightly, she began to squirm and push us away. I stared at her in confusion.
"Why are you here?" she questioned, surprised and a little annoyed. I saw the man next to her grin.
"W-We're here to save you!" exclaimed Trinity.
"From what?" Emma asked. We stared at her dumfounded.
"From becoming a freak from experimentation. A tool used by them," Damien practically yelled. I looked at Jenna. She just stared into Emma's eyes, not saying a word.
"Emma. Don't listen to him. He doesn't want to help you. He wants to use you," Jenna snarled at Emma. Emma stepped back, then glared at her.
"What do you know? He's appreciated my talent more then any of you at that stupid school have!" retorted Emma.
"I know because I've been in your spot. You honestly think you're special? What he told you is what he told every other kid here. I was one of them," Jenna explained. Emma huffed angrily.
"She's jealous, Emma. Jealous of your extrodinary ability. Don't listen to them. They know nothing," purred the man into her ear. Emma's fists tightened.
"Please Emma," Damien begged, staring into her eyes.
"You think you're all better then me? That I don't deserve anything?! I'll show you!" Emma shrieked. Racing her hands, she created a huge wave of blazing fire and sent it at Jenna. I jumped infront of her and created a wall of darkness. Emma's eyes widened in shock towards who was defending Jenna. Who Emma was now fighting.
The fire hungrily fought against the darkness. It lashed out powerfully with new found conviction. I began to sweat. What have they done to her?
"STOP!" roared Trinity. The fire and darkness began to diminish.
"What are you?! Attacking us?! Attacking Merick!" criticized Trinity.
"You have just met this man. How dare you put your trust in him! He does NOT support you more than us! We have always been there for you and we always will be!" she cried. Emma stared at her best friend.
The man placed his hand on Emma's shoulder. She shrug him off. Spinning on her heel, she dashed away from us. The man began to follow her. Just then, Riley and River entered the hall. Emma tried to pass them but they caught her and held her still.
The man stopped in his tracks as the boys stared at him. He turned and took ten steps back.
"T-Tristan! Do something!" he barked. He was surrounded.
"No, Black. Have your prodigy save you," Tristan seethed venomously. And with that, he turned and left us.
Black yelled out in defeat and punched the nearest wall. He had hit an alarm. We all jumped as a blaring alarm sounded. Black laughed crazily.
"Shut up," roared Trinity. Lifting her hands, a powerful gust blew Black up and flew him out the window at the end of the hall. It dawned on me that we were on a high floor.
"Go!" I yelled. We all ran down the hall. In both directions, we saw doors swing open and men swarm out. Running to the right, Riley took out a swarm of men with ice. Going down stair case, we screamed as we saw even more men. I kicked a large window. The glass broke through. I thanked God that we had finally reached the first floor.
After I helped everyone through the window, I jumped out. We were between the side of the building and the entrance. It was now mid morning. As we ran to my car, we only had to take out ten men. We were lucky.
Throwing ourselves in my car, we booked it out of there. We watched as men swarmed out of the base, but stopped as they saw us escaping. Emma screamed in protest. Riley and River kept her down. I sped back towards the school.
