*Hey guys! I really appreciate the support so far. I adore reading your guys's comments. I'm happy and surprised that I've made it to Chapter 15 already. I'm planning to do a lot more but I've been thinking about making a SEQUEL when I'm done! Woot! Tell me your guys's thoughts on this. Should I make a sequel? and if I did, I was thinking about making the main character a guy, since there's not many stories here on Wattpad that aren't all girls. Take care and don't forget to Vote, Comment, and Fan! ♥ - Brynne*

~Damien's Point of View~

Shutting the Headmaster's door behind me, I punched the nearest wall. This freaking sucked! Detention every day for two months?! Not fair! That new girl deserved it! She kneed me right in the stomach! Emma so had it coming!

I could feel my body tense up in anger, remembering that horrifying feeling of darkness entering through your mouth and nose. My heart seemed to have stopped and I felt like the life was being drained out of me. Being choked with darkness. Not a good feeling. That bastard Merick almost killed me! Why isn't he in trouble?!

I didn't know where to go now. I knew that if I went anywhere populated, I would get horrible glares. As everyone says, news traveled like wild fire here at the Academy. My dorm didn't look pleasing either; my roommates may be loyal but they're annoying as hell and I really wasn't in the mood.

Sighing angrily, I started wandering the halls, not caring where I was going, my mind racing in thought. For some unknown reason, I had ended up near the Infirmary. I peered into the small window in the door. Emma was alone. I sighed heavily and entered cautiously, having no idea what I would say.

Luckily, Emma wasn't awake. I sat down on the bed next to hers awkwardly. Twiddling my fingers, I waited there. I heard shifting and looked up at her. Her eyes were wide open in fear and she had backed away as close as she could get. I opened my mouth but no words escaped me.

"Came back to fry me again?" she asked coldly. I grimanced. Lifting my head to her cold dark hazel eyes was the hardest thing I could do.

"...No.... I came to... apologize," I replied. God, this was tough for me. I never... "apologize." But Headmaster was super ticked so I figured this would get me some brownie points. She huffed then glared at me.

"I know I hurt your stomach but that doesn't mean you freaking shock me!" she criticized loudly, crossing her arms.

"I know.. and I'm really sorry," I whispered. Yeah, that was mostly a lie but surprisingly I actually did feel a pang of regret. She was new here and the lightning was a bit much. I stared at the floor. She sighed and spoke again.

".... I'm sorry Merick... did that to you. I can't imagine how that felt," she admitted softly. She looked like she was having a hard time saying that.

"... Thanks," I mumbled. A terrible sense of awkwardness set in. I hated this, I hated this, I hated this! I shouldn't have to apologize to this girl! Her little boyfriend choked me! A stab of anger hit me hard but I held it in.

"I can tell you didn't want to do this. But I appreciate it. The next time I see the Headmaster, I'll tell him of your visit," she said. Suddenly she swung her legs over the bed and began to sit up. An unknown force made me jump up and place my hands on her shoulders, pressuring her to sit down. She sat down on the side of the bed again and stared up at me. Her eyes looked like they were searching mine, looking deep inside me. I shuddered.

"Y-You shouldn't get up. You need to rest. Trust me, I've been shocked before," I stuttered. It was the truth. Lightning is a horrible pain. I knew of this well. But why was I telling her this? Yeah she was a girl, but I got hurt because of her. She smiled in amusement towards me and stood up, my hands still on her. I dropped them in embarrasment.

"Damien, I'll be fine. If I can't handle some guy with his fancy lightning, how will I be able to survive this wacked out school?" she grinned. The corner of my mouth rose slightly. Walking swiftly past me, I stared at her in disbelief. This girl got struck with LIGHTNING and she was fine! She wasn't even that mad at me! How is this possible?! At the door she stopped and turned to me.

"Just make sure you don't turn anymore freshmen into kentucky fried chicken," she chuckled lightly and glided away. I furrowed my eyebrows and my mouth hung slightly open. What was up with this Emma chick?! What she said played back in my mind. This time I noticed how melodic her voice sounded and how her smile brought a strange warm feeling. I shook my head and hit my head. She's a stupid freshmen who almost got you killed! Stop being such a pansy!

I stomped out of the room and headed towards my dorm. I didn't have anything better to do anyway. Yes, pathetic, I know. It's a Saturday, I'm a junior, and I was completely bored. Swinging my dorm room open, I marched into the room. Blake and Tristan were in there working on homework. They stared at me. I ignored them and layed down on my bed.

Blake was a freshmen and Tristan was a sophmore. In my opinion, Blake was a goody two shoes, especially compared to me. He still highly doted on me though. He also looked sort of childish, with his brown curly hair and bright green eyes. And with his slim and short figure. Well, compared to me he was short, standing at 5'8. I was 6'2. I also knew he feared me. Smart boy.

Tristan did nothing all day but study. He was the quiet genious type. I've made him do my homework before. He never argued about it either and I enjoyed getting the perfect grades on them. Tristan wore glasses and he always had a bored expression on his face. He was also Mr. Benson's son, the freshmen control teacher. You could tell they were father and son, Tristan was just a miniature version of his father.

"I'm assuming Headmaster Aaron must have been really upset with you, keeping you in there for that long," inquired Tristan. I rolled my eyes.

"Or perhaps you went and visited your victim," he added. I glared at him. He was always a smart ass like this. Blake's eyes darted between us in worry.

"Perhaps you should bite your tongue before I rip it out, Benson," I threatened. Tristan chuckled lightly in amusement and went back to his books.

"So how bad is your punishment?" asked Blake, trying to soothe the silence.

"Detention for the rest of the month and the next," I answered. Blake shuddered.

"You got off lucky, especially since she's a newbie," he said. I growled at him. He turned swiftly and went back to his work. Ugh, I sometimes hated my roommates.

~Trinity's Point of View~

Looking up from my book, I saw Emma stroll in. I gasped.

"What do you think your doing here?! You're supposed to be resting!" I lectured instantly, shocked at her sudden appearance. She just grinned at me.

"I'm alright," she said then sat indian style on her bed. I stared at her grimly. She tensed at my glare.

"So.... it's a Saturday evening. What shall we do?" Emma chirped cheerfully. I mentally rolled my eyes. This girl just got struck by lightning and she now wants to go out and do something.

"Well, I would think you would want to go back to the boy's dorm again and play... video games," I criticized, my eyes boring in to hers. Her eyes widened in shock. Did she really think I wouldn't find out?

"That's actually a good idea. Come and join me," she offered innocently, smiling. I sighed. One that was against the rules and Two I don't want my ears blown out my their excitement towards virtually killing each other. But in an instant, Emma had her hand wrapped around my wrist, already pulling me towards the boy's dorms. I mumbled in complaint.

~Emma's Point of View~

"Welcome to our humble abode, fair ladies!" called out Riley as he opened the door for us. I shuddered at his outburst, my ear crying out in pain. Trinity smiled bashfully and we entered. Merick was laying on his bed reading and River was playing that stupid zombie game. I sat down next to River.

"Hey," he grinned. I grinned back. Trinity sat down awkardly on one of the desk chairs and scanned the room, her face scrunched in discust. Yes, there was a slight smell and you couldn't always see the floor, but she'll live.

"What are you doing here?!" yelled Merick. He jumped off from his bed and ran to me. His eyes searched my body everywhere for damage.

"I'm fine...." I whispered.

"You were struck by LIGHTNING! There's no way you're "FINE"" Merick said, a slight panic in his voice.

"Merick... she was healed. She's ok now," Riley said softly. Merick glared at him.

"Do you care about her at all?! She slept for about three hours then gets up and comes here?!" Merick roared.

"Of course he cares about her! We all do! You're not the only one, Merick! And anyways, if she says she's fine, she's fine! She knows her body best!" River said irritantly. We all stared at his outburst. He usually never yells.

"Trinity...." whispered Merick.

"I tried! She wouldn't listen!" Trinity pleaded. Merick stared at the ground, anger clearly written across his face.

"Can we please change the subject and do something else? Please!" I begged. I stared into Merick's eyes for forgiveness. They were cold.

"Fine," grumbled Merick. An uncomfortable silence came.

"Take your pick ladies. Zombies, chilling, or outside," Riley said. I thought for a moment then looked over at Trinity. She looked like she was about to faint. Was this because of her shyness or because of Riley's dirty socks? I'm guessing both.

"Outside," I answered. This should cure Trinity. The boys nodded and we marched towards the courtyard. Sitting on benches, we began to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. Surprisingly, no more then ten people were out here. It was a pretty big courtyard, so we didn't feel cramped at all. The wind blew and made the grass dance. I heard some conversations from a small group of girls to my right. Something about a dance. The boy's noticed my eavesdropping and smiled.

"I believe our Miss. Emma is not aware of the dance," said River in a british accent.

"I agree Lord River," added Riley, nodding his head like he was a man of great wisdom, and gesturing like he held a pipe. I chuckled, amused towards the fact that Riley was far off from being a wise gentleman.

"Angel Academy holds a dance called the Cherry Blossom Dance at the end of every Spring," explained Trinity.

"Why is it called that?" I asked.

"Because the Cherry Blossom's will be full grown at the time of the Dance," answered Merick, gesturing all around us. I gazed at all the trees in the courtyard. He was right. They were almost in full bloom. I smiled at the thought of the beauty of it.

"It's uber formal and attendence is mandatory," added Riley. My mind started to churn.

"Sounds fun," I smiled. My four friends smiled back and we began chattering. I couldn't help thinking about the dance as we talked.
