~Emma's Point of View~
I started to drift awake as I heard my dorm room door slam shut and I heard a shout.
"Holy shit!" someone said loudly, obviously surprised or shocked towards something.
"Shhh! She's sleeping, stupid", said another voice. I could tell both voices were female. I could feel them walking towards me and looking over me. I froze.
"Dude, they got a replacement already? That was fast," said the voice who yelled previously.
"Yeah I guess. She looks kinda young. She's so pretty!" gushed the other voice.
"She's probably a stuck up bitch then," mumbled the other voice. I then heard a smacking noise.
"Don't be mean! I hate when you chase away our roommates!"
Oh god, I thought. They drove their previous roommate out?! These girls must be psycho!
I turned over and my eyes fluttered open. They stared at me with wide eyes. I sat up and waited for them to speak.
"Hi! We're your roommates! I'm Trinity and this is Ava", said the nice girl. I nodded towards them and smiled.
Trinity had bright, shiny blue eyes and long hair that was very dark, almost black. It was pulled back into a long braid going down her back. She had light flawless skin. Both her and Ava were wearing the school's blue uniform. She looked to be about 5'5 feet.
Ava seemed like the opposite of Trinity. She had dark gray eyes and black shoulder length hair. It seemed almost like an emo hairstyle. A black tight necklace circled the middle of her neck and her nails were also black. She seemed a little scary even if she only stood at 5'4.
"So, um, when's bed time?" I asked, trying to end the awkward silence.
"11:00" answered Trinity. I decided that I really liked her voice. It was very melodic. I looked over at a digital clock on one of their end tables.

"It's 11:30," I said quietly. They just stroll right in past curfew?
"Yeah and the sky's blue" snarked Ava sarcastically and sounding bored. She looked at me like I was a stupid little kid and then fell on her bed. She took out some headphones from under her pillow and zoned out, closing her eyes and completely ignoring us.
Trinity sighed and shook her head then shot me an apologetic glance. She then glided towards her dresser and pulled on a long, elegant white night gown. It suits her personality, I thought. Trinity then looked at me.
"Oh! I forgot! Check your dresser," she smiled. I walked over to it slowly and opened it. Inside was my pajamas and my clothes from home. I gasped, relieved.
"Merick and Riley brought them in about a week ago," she explained.
"....They were at my house a week ago?" I asked, completely confused and shocked. She nodded. I tried to remember what I was doing at that time. Did they come when I was at school? I think maybe I was at a friends house that day.....
"So that's the hobbies of Riley and Merick. Breaking into my house to take my clothes, then KIDNAPPING me and bringing me here. They REALLY seem like nice people", I said, really annoyed and mad. I don't know why I'm acting so stressed, I'm usually in a very good mood and nice. Maybe I'm just tired and surprised towards all this.
Trinity looked at me with pity and some understanding. I put on my plain dark blue pajamas.
"Emma, I'm sure they didn't break in. Your parents probably let them take your stuff. I'm guessing they've know for a while," she said, trying to calm me down.
"Wait.... How did you know my name?" I asked, suspicious. I didn't tell them my name....

Trinity froze and then looked a little embarrassed. She looked down a bit. "News spreads like wild fire at this school," she admitted.
I groaned and said "How do all these people know about me and I know practically no one?"
"You're kind of a big deal around here.... Most kids know about their elements at an early age and know we're coming to this school. Only rarely is a student brought here as a teenager and not willingly," she stated.
".... Why didn't my parents tell me I could control an element?" I asked quietly, stunned.
She stared at me. "I don't know."
"So... what's your element?" I asked, realizing that we've been talking about me this whole time.
She opened her mouth to answer but was interrupted by the Charming and Nice Ava.
"Stop chitchatting and go to bed!" complained Ava, sharp and loud.
Trinity rolled her eyes and smiled at me. She raised her right hand. I readied myself, knowing from the Headmaster's room that something extraordindary was about to happen.
A warm breeze blew across my face. I closed my eyes, amazed how calming it felt.
"Now go to bed," Trinity chuckled. I drifted towards my bed, still riveted towards that breeze. I fell asleep instantly.
Even though I had a mean, emo roomate, I also knew that my other roomate was going to get me through all this. I fell asleep, happy towards my new friend.
