Alicia led me to a snowmobile where she drove us into the vast snowy landscape. My curiosity started to increase when she pulled up to a dozen igloos. She led me inside the hotel that was completely made out of ice. There was a glass ceiling allowing for the star studded sky to be seen. I caught a glimpse of an indigo streak across the sky. Alicia took my hand and signaled for me to lie on the bed. I cuddled into her as the northern lights streaked across the sky. Her blue eyes were glued to the night sky allowing for me to admire her features. She was effortlessly beautiful the way her lips would part every once in a while. Or how her eyes would light up when she recognized something beautiful. I guess she noticed my staring since she looked down and smiled at me.

"What do you think?" She whispered.

"You're beautiful." My compliment caused both of us to blush.

"I meant the light show, but thanks." She giggled. Her laughter was music to my ears. God, I'm so in love with this girl.

"Alicia, I love you." Her eyes opened wide at my confession.

"I love you too, Nicola." She kissed me under the light show. The kiss started off innocent before it slowly became heated. Alicia lightly bit my lip causing me to gasp resulting in her smirking and licking my lip as she pulled away. I groaned out of frustration while she returned my aggravated state with her signature smirk. I roughly grabbed her by her jacket and pulled her down to reconnect our lips. She kissed me back just as passionately. Alicia swiped her tongue over my lip requesting permission which I denied. She tried again only to receive the same response. Alicia then slightly squeezed her hand around my throat causing me to open my mouth to gasp for air. She used that opportunity to steal my breath away by plunging her tongue into my mouth. Unfortunately, my dream vacation with Alicia had come to an end. We had left Sunday after having lunch. Alicia had dropped me back at my dorm before heading home. Cher snapped me out of my reverie.

"So what are you doing for the holiday?" Cher questioned me.

"I'm going home to North Carolina and I'm bringing a friend home with me."

"And funny. She's the total opposite of her sister. In case you didn't know, her sister is best friends with Tamsin. That'll tell you how much of a bitch she is." Cher replied. "I am surprised that she's okay with Rosé being your friend though." Cher thought aloud.

"Rosé probably doesn't give a shit since she's her own person." Hyde explained. We talked for the rest of their period. The rest of the week went fast since the professors really wanted thanksgiving break. We had a half day Friday since the majority of professors took the day off. Rosé and I were finalizing our packing. Normally, my parents would've driven up so that they could take me back down; however, Rosé insisted on taking a private jet. I'm thinking that her persistence had to do with the fact that she had no interest in sitting in a car for 12 hours. She had called a driver who was scheduled to arrive in 10 minutes. Because we were leaving so late in the evening, the majority of students had already left.

Knock Knock

Rosé and I glanced at each other. She shrugged and answered the door only to gasp.

"Who is it?" I zipped up my suitcase.

"She's for you I think." Rosé's teasingly said. I looked up to see Alicia in the doorway. "I'll give you guys a minute." Rosé had a huge smirk on her face. Alicia gave her a tight lipped smile as she entered the room. From behind her, Rosé gave me two thumbs up before leaving.

"Hey." Alicia addressed me.

"Hey." I smiled.

"I just wanted to tell you goodbye before you left. When do you leave?"

"In like 8 minutes now." I chuckled. "Rosé's driver should be here soon and then it's off to NC." I smiled.

"Are you excited to see your friends and family?" She sat on my bed.

"Yep." I plopped right next to her. "Buuuuuuuuuut I'm gonna miss you."

"Awwww. I'm touched." Ali exaggeratedly placed a hand over her heart. "Now shut up and kiss me." She pulled me in. Even though I was engrossed in kissing her, I could've sworn I saw someone watching in the hallway. By the time I pulled back, no one was there. "Something wrong?" Ali looked behind her.

"Uh no. I'm just... frazzled because I have 2 minutes!" I jumped up and started zipping up my backpack while Ali just laughed. Rosé entered and looked slightly confused.

"Huh? I thought I closed the door." She mumbled as she scratched her head. "Whatevs! We gots to go!" She waved bye to Ali who actually smiled back at her. I was dragged into the Mercedes and whisked away to the airport.

My parents engulfed me in a tight hug which Rosé joined. We all laughed at her actions. My sister gave both of us hugs as well. We placed our suitcases in my sister and my shared room. My parents had set up an air mattress for Rosé. I'm curious how she's gonna take to that. My question was answered by the confused look on Rosé's face. I'll explain it to her later.

"Your house is cute." I laughed at her compliment. "I'm serious. It's so homey." She smiled.

"Why thank you." I chuckled. My sister, who is weary about rich people, quickly opened up to Rosé. I mean it's hard not to considering Rose's personality. We watched movies until 3am when we called it a night. I had to explain the concept of an air mattress to my guest which was entertaining. Rosé was confused why she wouldn't just reside in the guest room. I still have her confused face imprinted in my mind when I told her we didn't have a guest room. The next few days, Logan and Rue were practically over everyday. Rue tried hitting on Rosé who was completely oblivious to her advances. Rosé would constantly say that Rue was the sweetest when, in actuality, Rue just wanted to get in her pants. My friends and I ventured out and gave Rosé the proper introduction to NC. We took her on hiking trails, museums, and the lakes. Rosé asked if we have ever gone white water rafting. When we gave her a confused look, she made a call on her phone. Not long after, she demanded we get in the car and follow her GPS. The GPS took us to a rafting place where we had to wear helmets and put on life vests. I was originally confused as to why we needed it, but quickly realized once we went onto the raft. The experience was fun and terrifying at the same time. I laughed when we hit a particularly harsh current and Rue got catapulted off the raft.

During the week, Ali and I would often text and facetime. She found my adventures rather humorous and loved to hear about my day. I'd often ask how her day had been, but she'd always reply that it was boring compared to mine. Ali complained that since it's the Thanksgiving holiday, Yaz and Astrid would travel since they didn't celebrate the holiday. That would mean that Alicia is forced to spend the week with her family. She told me that her father was coming back on Thanksgiving and had already scheduled a talk with Zara about her kissing Ryder on live tv. Other than that, she had been spending her time playing tennis and hanging out with other friends. The way she said "other friends" made me feel uneasy, but I dismissed the feeling.

Thanksgiving day was a blast. Being Rosé's first Thanksgiving, she did a lot of research on the holiday. She went overboard and bought a lot of pies, apple cider, and then decorated my house with a lot of pumpkins and cornucopias. She somehow convinced us to dress as the pilgrims to make the experience more authentic. It was a blast to spend the holiday with my friends and family. Never did I think that I would ever integrate my North Carolina life with my new Boston life.

The day before I left was going well until there was a knock on my door. I opened up my front door to see Willa. My jaw dropped as I stared at my ex. Shit!

"Can I come in?" I think she just asked out of politeness since she entered before I even answered. Willa headed to my room and stopped when she saw Rosé lounging on my bed. Willa turned and gave me a questionable look while Rosé looked confused. Rose's confused face turned into understanding.

"Is this the..." She pointed at Willa and I nodded. "Ooooh... let me give you guys some space." She shimmied past us.

"New girlfriend?" Willa's voice was laced with jealousy.

"No. She's honestly just a friend." I quickly answered. I don't know why I felt the need to clarify that to her knowing that she broke my heart. Well, I don't know if she really broke my heart. I liked her, but was never in love with her. It was just rude that she dumped me over a stupid reason!

"Cool." She sat on my bed.

"But I do have a girlfriend." Willa's breath hitched. Yes, bitch!! I didn't wallow in self pity when you dumped me!

"Oh." Okay, now I feel bad that she's sad. Dammit! "I wanted to come here and apologize and ask if we could get back together. I've missed you so much and regretted my decision everyday."

"Willa, I've moved on. I'm sorry, but we can still be friends." Even though we originally said that before we started dating, she remained distant after breaking up with me. I don't understand how she is acting heartbroken when she dumped me?!

"I love you." Uh... I'm not sure what to say to that. She used my statue-like state to kiss me. I kissed her back, but pushed her off when I realized what I was doing.

"No! I have a girlfriend who I love more than myself." Shit! Was I really that smitten with Alicia? "I'm sorry, but you need to leave." I stood up from my bed.

"But you kissed back. Clearly, you don't love her as much as you claim. You have doubts." She stated. Damn. Was it really that obvious? I knew that I loved her, but I have reservations about our relationship. Would we really be able to be together or would I always be her secret? She didn't want to tell her family and I'm starting to think that she never will. "I'm assuming she's rich, so she probably thinks of you as her play thing. She probs spends tons of money on you, so that you feel indebted to her needs." I didn't realize that Willa had gotten so close until her lips attached to mine. This time, I didn't push her back. "You want me. Just say it."

"I-I.."

"What the hell is going on?!" Rosé and Chloe were standing in the doorway. I quickly pushed Willa off me. She smirked before walking out the door. I saw her putting her phone in her purse. Before I could ask her any questions, Rosé and Chloe bombarded me with questions of their own.

"Did you just makeout with her?"

"You have a girlfriend."

"Why would you do that?"

"Do you still love Willa?"

"Do you even like ALicia?"

"What's going on?!"

"I know! I'm so screwed." I placed my head in my hands.
