Ek roz Ibn-e-Ziyad ne ek khat ke sath qasid ko Imam Husain(r.a) ke pas bheja. Us khat ka mazmun ye tha....
"Mere pas Yazid ka paigam aaya hai ki jis tarah bhi ho main aap
ko bait par majbur karun. Main aap se darkhast karta hun ki aap Yazid ki bait qubul karlein. Aur is mamle ko aur na badhaye. Agar aap ne bait na ki to jang yaqini hai. "
Imam Husain(r.a) is khat ko dekh kar bahot naraz huwe. Unhone tehriri taur par (writting) kuch jab na diya. Sirf qasid se ye keh diya ke mere pas is ka koi jawab nahi hai. Siwaye saza ke us keliye koi azab nahi hai.
Ye waqiya 3/ Moharram 61 Hijri ka hai.
Agle din yaani 4/ Moharram 61 Hijri Hurr apna lashkar lekar Imam Husain(r.a) ke qafle ke aur qarib aa gaye. Lekin itne qarib nahi ke jis se lashkar aur qafla
dono mil jaayein. Balki kuch fasle par Naher Firat ki taraf
muqim(stay) ho gaye. kyun ki Hurr, Imam Husain(r.a) se aqidat rakhte the isliye unki taraf se koi undesha nahi tha.
Usi roz Asar ke waqt ek lashkar koofa ke raaste par dikhai diya. wo bhi kuch faasle par wasi maidan me utar gaya.
Imam Husain(r.a) ko chand logon ne khabar di ke Umro Sa'ad 4000 lashkar le kar jang ke liye aaya hai.
Doosre din yani 5/Moharram 61 Hijri ke roz subah ki namaz ke baad Umro Sa'ad, Imam Husain (r.a) ki khidmat me haazir hua. Aur arz kiya ki Ibn-e-ziyad ne mujhe isliye mamur kiya hai ki aap ko Yazid ki bait par majbur karun.
agar aap ne bait na ki toh aap ki giraftari ka hukm diya gaya hai. Agar aapne jang ka irada kiya toh jis qadar lashkar aaya hai, Usse kahin zyada aur aayega. Mujhe aapki
jaan ka khatra hai. Aapne yahan aa kar apne aap ko khatre me dala hai.
Main khud yahan nahi aaya hun. Balki bar bar khat likh kar koofiyon me mujhe bulaya hai.
toh kya aap Yazid ki bait se inkar karte hain.
Maine shuru se inkar hi kiya hai aur ab bhi karta hun.
Toh aap jang ka elaan karte hain?
Nahi, main elaan-e-jang nahi karta. Balki tumhe bhi jang se baaz rehne
keliye kehta hun. Meri kuch shartein hain. Agar tum maan lo toh jang ruk sakti hai.

Umro Sa'ad ka qasid Jab Ibn-e-Ziyad ke pas pahoncha toh wahan par Abdullah bin abil-Mahel aur Shimar zil-Joshan bhi maujud tha.
Abdullah bin abil-Mahel wo shakhs tha jis ki phupi (Ummul Banin) se Hazrat Ali(r.a) ka nikah hua tha. Ummul Banin, Shimar zil-Joshan ki bahen thi.
Ummul Banin ke bete H.Abdullah(r.a), H.Abbas(r.a),
H.Jaafar(r.a) aur H.Usman(r.a) the. Ye chaaro Imam Husain(r.a) ke sautele bhai the. Jo is waqt Imam Husain(r.a) ke sath unke qafle me maujud the. Is lehaaz se Imam Husain(r.a) Abdullah bin abil-Mahel ke phupi zaad bhai aur Shimar ke bhanje the.

Qasid ne Ibn-e-ziyad ki khidmat me khat pesh kiya. Ibn-e-Ziyad ne khat padh kar sab ko sunaya. Aur ye kaha ki, " Mera khayal hai ki shartein maakul hain. Isse
malum hota hai ki Imam(r.a) ki niyyat behtar hai. Wo maslehat par aamada hain."
Ibn-e-Ziyad is khat ko padh kar khush hua. Usne kaha," Khuda ka shukr hai, maamla tai hota nazar aata hai."
Khat sun kar sab khamosh rahe par Shimar ne kaha, "agar aapne Imam Husain(r.a) ko Yazid ke pas bhej diya toh wo apna mamla khud tai kar lenge. Unki izzat wa ehmiyat aur badh jayegi. Yazid phir aap ki utni qadar nahi karega."
Phir mujhe kya karna chahiye?
: Mera khayal hai aap Yazid ke liye Imam Husain(r.a) se apne haath par bait le lein. Isse Yazid ki nazar me aapki ehmiyat badh jayegi.
Lekin Imam Husain(r.a) is baat keliye razi na huwe tab kya hoga?
: Tab unhe qatl kar diya jaye. Isse aap ki izzat aur shohrat aur badh jayegi.
Ibn-e-Ziyad sang-dil, zaalim hone ke baawajud Imam Husain(r.a) ki teesri shart manne ko tayyar ho gaya tha par Shimar ne usy behkaya.
Shimar ki baat Ibn-e-Ziyad ke zahen me ghar kar gai. Aur usne Umro Sa'ad ko jawab me likha :
"Maine tumhe Imam Husain(r.a) ka muqabla karne bheja tha, unki
sifarish nahi. Agar wo bait par raazi na hoto unhe qatl kardo.
Agar tum is kaam se inkar karte hoto tumhe Sipah-salari aur
'raye' ki hukumat se mazul kiya jata hai. Aur tumhari jagah
Shimar ko mukarrar kiya jata hai."
Ye khat de kar Ibn-e-Ziyad ne Shimar ko hi rawana kiya. Aur ye keh diya ki "agar Umro Sa'ad is baat ko maane toh tum uski ita'at karna. Agar inkar karde toh lashkar ka charge tum le lena aur usy giraftaar kar ke yahan bhej dena."
Umro Sa'ad ko ye yaqin tha ki Ibn-e-Ziyad Imam Husain(r.a) ki koi na koi shart maan lega. Isi liye wo Imam Husain(r.a) ke pas aane laga tha. Lashkari qafle walon ke sath aa kar namaz ada karne lage the. Yahan tak ki 8/Moharram 61 Hijri ko Hajar bin Hurr 22000 ke lashkar ke sath wahan pahoncha. Ye lashkar kyun ki zyada tadad me tha isliye qafle ke qarib tak muqim hua.
Uske agle roz yani 9/Moharram ko Asar ke waqt Shimar bhi wahan pahonch gaya. Wo seedha Umro Sa'ad ke pas pahoncha. Aur usy Ibn-e-Ziyad ka khat diya. Wo khat padh kar usy afsos hua.

Hukm ki taamil karunga.

Ibn-e-ziyad ka ek aur qasid paigam le kar aya, jis me likha tha ki...
"Agar Husain(r.a) ne ita'at qubul nahi ki hai to darya-e-firat aur
uski nehron par qabza karke paani bandh kardo. Aur aise
intezaam karo ke Ehl-e-bait ko paani ka ek qatra(drop) bhi na

Umro Sa'ad aur Shimar ne Umro-bin-Al haaj ko 500 sipahiyon ke sath paani ki bandish ka kaam diya. Kyunki isse pehle paani par qabza nahi hua tha. Isliye Ehle bait (Imam ke sathi) din me 2 martaba, ek

" is waqt sabr karo. Subah dekha jayega. Tayamum kar ke namaz ada karlo."

Hurr bahot khush huwe. Khuda ka shukr ada kiya aur Imam Husain(r.a) se ijazaat maangi ke wo dushmano se jang kar sakein. Lekin us waqt Imam Husain(r.a) ne unhe mana kar diya.
Is ke baad shahadaton ka silsila shuru hua. Dasht-e-Karbala ke sab se pehle shahid Abdullah bin Umar kalbi the. Jinhon ne apni shuja'at ka muzahira karte huwe kai saare dushmano ko khaak me mila diya.

Sa'adat-mand bachchon ne kaha: Humara farz hai ki unse pehle Raahe haq me sar de de.
: Tum khud jaa kar ijazat haasil karo.
: Abhi hum chhote hain. Mamu jang ki ijazat na
denge.
: Tum israr karna.
: Ammi behtar ye hai ki aap chal kar ijazat
dila do.
H.Zainab(r.a) dono bachchon ko tayyar kar ke Imam Husain(r.a) ke pas le kar gai. Dono ne mamu jaan ko salaam kiya.
Unko musallah dekh kar Imam Husain(r.a) samajh gaye ki wo kis irade se aaye hain. Phir bhi dono ko pas bula kar puchha. "Noor chashmo! kya irada hai."
: Mamu jaan jang ki ijazat lene aaye hain.
: Aisa khayal mat karo, mamu ki zindagi me
maidan-e-jang me na jaao.
hamari duniya aap ke dam se hai. Aap hum par baap se zyada meherban rahe. Aap ne aaj tak apna haq ada kiya. ab hume apna haq ada karne dijiye.
: Tumhari shahadat ka mujhe kis qadar sadma aur taklif hogi.
: Aap Imam hain bardash kar lenge.
: Tumhari maa ka dil tut jayega, kya unse bhi
ijazat le li hai.
: Unhone na sirf ijazat di hai balki hume apna
farz bhi yaad dilaya hai.
Dono maasumo ko apni aagosh me le kar Imam Husain(r.a) ne khoob pyar kiya.
Imam Husain(r.a) ne dono maasumo ko khub pyar kiya. H.Zainab(r.a) dono ko samjhati hui bahar aai. Aur jab dono ne maidan-e-jang ka rukh kiya to H.Zainab(r.a) se sabr na ho saka aur unki aankhon se aansu jaari ho gaye.
H.Zainab(r.a) ke dono maasum maidan-e-jang me sar katane jaa rahe the. Par haalat to dekhiye dono bhooke pyase the. Maa unhe pani pila kar bhi rukhsat na kar saki. Wo Maaye soche jo apne bachchon ko safar pe
jane ke waqt kuch na kuch safar ka saman de kar rawana karti hain.
H.Zainab(r.a) ke pas siwae duaon ke kuch na tha. Aun aur Mohammad ne maidan-e-jang me jaa kar qata-hujjat ki.
"Aye Umro sa'ad aur aye Shimar bin Joshan! Tum Aal-e-Rasool (s.a.w) ka ehtram nahi karte. Unse ladne aaye ho. Humse lad kar apni aakhirat kharab na karo. Khuda ki qasam hamara qatl tumhe duniya-o-aakhirat me chain lene nahi dega."
Umro Sa'ad ne nanhe bachchon ki awaz suni aur kaha...
"Tum palat jaao. Mujhe tumse koi matlab nahi hai. Maqsad Imam se hai. Tum agar hamare pas aa jao to duniya ki tamam khushiyan tumhare liye hain."
: Hum Imam Husain(r.a) ke fidai hain. Unka sath nahi chhod sakte. Hame duniya ki zarurat nahi.
Shimar ne chand sawaro ko unke muqable me bheja.
Sipahiyon ne unhe bachcha samajh kar hamla kiya. H.Ali r.a. ke nawaso ne apni talware nikali aur un hamlon ko roka. Phir khud bhi nihayat sakhti se hamla kiya. Dono maasumo ne pahle hi hamle me 2 koofiyon ko maar
giraya.
Aun aur Mohammad kyun ki jaan dene keliye hi maidan me aaye the isliye khoob bahaduri se lade. Dono ek sath hamla karte, har hamle me kam se kam 1 ya 2 koofiyon ko maar girate.
Garibon ko paani ka ek qatra bhi nasib na hua. Pyase hi ladte rahe. Un par har taraf se teer barsaye gaye. Aur ek zaalim ne unhe shaheed kar diya.

H.Zainab(r.a) ke beton ki shahadat ke baad Imam Hasan (r.a) ki biwi H.Zainab ke pas aai aur unse kaha ki..
"bahan tumne apna haq ada kiya ab meri baari hai. Mere dono bachche Abdullah(r.a) aur Qasim(r.a) apne chacha par jaan fida karne ko taiyyar hain. Main
jaanti hun ke chacha ko unse mohabbat hai.Wo unhe ijazat nahi denge. Isliye aap meri taraf se unse arz kijiye ke wo mere bachchon ki nazar qubul karke unhe jang ki ijazat dein."
H.Zainab ne kaha .." Main hausla nahi rakhti, badi mushkil se apne bachchon ke liye ijazat li thi. Tum Shaher bano se kaho ki wo ijazat le kar dein."
Imam Hasan(r.a) ki biwi ne H.Shaher bano se bhi darkhwast ki par unhone bhi mana kar diya. Akhir kaar Imam Hasan r.a. ki biwi Imam Husain r.a. ki khidmat me haazir hui aur unse arz kiya. Imam Husain r.a. ke mana karne par unhone bahot israr kiya. Aur ye bhi kaha ki... "ye dono bachche aapke bhai ki nishani hain. Unhi bhai ki ye
wasiyat thi ke Jab mere bhai par musibat aaye to tum un par apni jaan dene se peechhe na hatna."
Imam Husain r.a. unki baat sunkar hairaan reh gaye. Phir se Imam Hasan r.a. ki biwi ne tasdiq ki ke marte waqt Imam Hasan r.a. ne apne dono beton ko yehi wasiyat ki thi. Majburan Imam Husain r.a. ko ijazat deni padi.

Dono bhaiyon me se H.Abdullah pahle maidan-e-jang me gaye. Koofiyon se qata-hujjat ki..
"Aye koofiyon!
kya tumne bar bar khat likh kar Imam ko yahan nahi bulaya. Aur jab wo aa gaye hain to ye mehmaan-nawazi, ke un par daana paani hi badh kar diya gaya hai. Kya yehi tumhari sharafat hai?"

Imam Husain r.a. ne farmaya.. "Noor-e-nazar ! yahan paani ka 1qatra bhi nahi hai. Wo waqt qarab hai ki tum Hauz-e-Kausar par pahonch kar sairab hoge."
