《A'roya》Chapter Thirty-Three

"The baby is quite small, nothing concerning though; it means he'll be a lot easier to push out." The doctor smiled at me.
"It's a boy?" Vincent and I said at the same time.
The doctor nodded. "Congratulations, um, the estimated due date is May sixteenth, but the baby could come anytime in May or early June."
I smiled, wiping my tears. "Ok," I whispered.
"I'll see you in two weeks for a check-up, but you're good to go." The doctor left, and I smiled at Vincent.
"Early birthday present, how do you like it?"
Vincent didn't even look up the sonogram picture; he was smiling at it. "I love it. He looks just like me."
I rolled my eyes. "Get over yourself, buddy."

"Are you going to tell anyone?" Vincent asked. "I wanted to know if I could tell my sisters or not."
I shook my head. "After the court battle, and we win–well, I mean, if we lose, we're still going to tell them, but I doubt we're going to lose with all this evidence."
"Is that the only copy you have?"
"No, Jericho has two, dad has two, and I–wait, I only have one."
"I can't say I blame them."
I glared at him. "Vincent, do not play with me. I am very responsible."
"You're a dumbass–respectively." He added quickly.
"How do you call someone a dumbass, respectively?"
"How do you go through a pregnancy without morning sickness?" He countered.
"I do; it's just bearable. I'm going to have an easy pregnancy." I squealed.
"Don't speak too soon." Vincent stretched on the bed.
"You don't speak too soon!" I yelled, actually managing to push him off the bed; he landed on the ground with a big thud.

"Oh my god, baby! Are you ok?"
"Fuck you, A'roya."
I gasped, holding my stomach. "You hear that, baby? Your father cursed at me."
"He can't hear you, dumbass, don't try it."
"You're so mean for no reason." I pouted.
"You deserve it," Vincent said, getting up and glaring at me.
"Keep glaring, and you won't have any eyes to glare anymore."
"A'roya, don't try it." He narrowed his eyes at me.
"I'm trying it; come get some."
"Come here then."
I scoffed in disbelief. "Why don't you come here?"
"No, you do it pussy." He taunted.
"Don't cap; you know I have a nine-inch-er, bruh."
Vincent furrowed his brows concerningly. "A'roya..."
I laughed. "I was joking–"
"No, please don't. Every single day is a new traumatizing event."
I scoffed, still laughing. "Please, Vincent, not too much on me."

This man is definitely my dad's son. Jericho's quite tall, but Atlas is about dad's height; his left is covered with an eye patch, along with a scar going through it. He had a huge smile, and he was quite cheerful, and I mean, when you don't have any fears, of course, you're going to walk around with a proud smile.
His wife was a beautiful blonde woman named Mila, she was his therapist, and he didn't listen to her at all until she agreed to go on a date. I love their story; it's so romantic, unlike mine.
Vincent decided to show up at my church and brutally verbally abused me for absolutely no reason.
Atlas has control of his life mostly; he's learned what social etiquette is and how to be polite, but he slips up when he gets angry, so we're keeping him outside court until it's his turn for his testimony.

I'm so scared about how he will react to seeing the woman who used a fucking trophy to remove a part of his brain.
"It's nice to meet you," I said, reaching out my hand to shake his, but he scooped me up and hug. "Oh!"
"It's nice to meet you too!" He grinned widely.
"Atlas put the poor girl down."
He set me down, his huge smile still on his face. "Mila, how could you say such a thing? I'm meeting my siblings!" He boomed happily, slapping Jericho's back.
Jericho winced.
"Calm down, Atlas."
He frowned for a minute before shrugging. "Fine, but after this, we must have a reunion!"
Jericho and I looked at each other and nodded. "Yea, you could meet my daughter. I'm sure your kids would be great influences."
Mila smiled, and Atlas grinned. "Of course! Hehe, wow, you have a daughter!"
Jericho sighed. "You're just like dad in some ways."
"Mila says that a lot." He smiled.
"They are both happy all the time." Mila shook her head with a smile. "But, it lightens up the house."
"Of course I do; how else could you live?"
Mila rolled her eyes. "Manners, Atlas."
"Right, forgot!" He yelled happily.
Vincent hadn't said a word. He's probably confused about why Atlas is yelling and shouting so happily. I kinda almost forgot about him.
"Where's your wife, son?"
Jericho sighed. "She's home, taking care of the baby."
"That's good!" He slapped Jericho's shoulder.
I giggled. "I can see why we're related."
Atlas grinned, hugging me again, spinning me around before setting me down. "Yes! I would like to see the rest of you guys!"
"They'll be at court," Jericho assured.
Atlas smiled excitedly at Mila, who just laughed and shook her head.

"Stop overthinking; you're gonna be fine." Vincent rubbed my shoulders.
"Yes, but my mom, she's a scary manipulative person. I'm scared of her." I admitted.
Vincent scoffed. "If she tried doing anything to you or our son, I'll kill her."
I sighed. "You make my heart flutter when you say, 'our son'"
Vincent smiled, putting his hand on my stomach, and kissing my cheek. "He's our son." He whispered.
I smiled, leaning against him. "Our son," I whispered.
"Your son." He whispered.
"He's your son too."
"He's our son."
I giggled. "Our son."
"Who's your son?" Jericho asked.
"Ah, nothing. We were playing around."
Jericho furrowed his brows. "Um, ok, whatever, get ready; we're going in."
I nodded. "Ok."
Vincent kissed me. "You're going to be ok."
I wiped my nervous tears. "Right, thank you." I kissed him again.
He smirked. "Anytime."
I scoffed, interlacing our fingers. "Come with me, just in case."
Vincent nodded, fixing my hair a little. "Let's go."

Orianne was a lover girl, whom some considered a hopeless romantic, but she wouldn't dare let the opinions of others knock her off her pivot. She was a young woman who knew what she wanted, and to her, there was nothing wrong with that. She desired the husband, children, dates, random gifts, trips, family outings, and so on.Some would say the reason she can't keep a man is because her standards are high. Which is a ridiculous take. Yes, her standards may be "high," but that's because her father set the tone. She knows what she wants and how she's supposed to be treated, and if you're not giving her that, then you have to go. Out of the few men she has dealt with, she lets them know beforehand what she wants, and it's not her fault that they choose to lead her on under the impression that they wanted the same thing. Another reason men tend to leave her alone is because she's a woman of status, a woman of her word, and a woman about her business. She handles her own and has her own which tends to bruise a man's ego. When asked what she brings to the table, she has a solid answer. She doesn't just bring herself or her body-that's the bonus-she brings communication, trust, comprehension, stability, submission, commitment, and so on. The main question of the matter is, how will Miss. Orianne react when a 19 year old wants to sweep her off her feet and give her everything she wants and more?𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐲: me
