《A'roya》Chapter Ten

Four tall women peeked inside Vincent's room as he grumbled, standing up and glaring at his....sisters.
They all just let themselves in.
Only one redhead and the rest had black hair like Vincent. Two of them had gray eyes, and two of them had green. I had gotten up quickly as soon as his sisters came, and the red-headed one glanced at me.....and then glared, scoffing.
"Oop, who is this?" The woman with shoulder-length black hair asks. She has such a cheerful aura to her.
Vincent rolled his eyes. "Why the fuck are you here? I have a guest."
Her now cheerful aura is gone, replaced with a creepier one. I hid behind Vincent a little. "Now, now, little brother, should you talk to your older sister like that?"
"Vivian, shouldn't you be taking care of your children instead of having slumber parties?"
She giggled, her aura changing again. "You know Ray would take care of our children any day. Now again, who's this cutie!"
Vincent glared at her. "My girlfriend and mate." He said bluntly.
The redhead huffed. "Wow, Vincent, what a low blow."
"I'm sorry? Did I ever fucking ask for your shit opinion."
"That was in the past," the woman with long black hair and green eyes finally spoke, glaring at the redhead before turning to me. "Hi, I'm Vicky."
"I'm Vivian," the woman with short hair said.
"I'm Vanni, and that's Vicktoria. We're Vincent's sisters." Said the woman with medium length hair, brown highlights on her dark locs and green eyes.
I smiled and waved. "I'm A'roya."
"We know damn well who you are, murderer!" Vicktoria, the redhead shouted, her eyes turning a threatening red.
Vincent pushed me behind him, glaring back with equally red eyes. "I dare you to try some dumb shit, Vicktoria."
Vivian comes in between them. "Vicktoria, you know damn well that she is different."
"Vicktor wouldn't want this either. You need to respect his wishes." Vicky glared.
I felt shame wash over me when I realized they were talking about my ancestor, who was also named A'roya, killing their brother. I would never do that to Vincent. I really, really like him even though he's supernatural, unreal in other people's eyes. He's been so kind to me, and he's made me happy.
Vicktoria ignored her sisters, looking back at me. "She's going to kill you, Vincent, you think she's innocent, but she's a conniving witch waiting to stab you right through the heart."

I shook my head. "No, it's not true. I–"
"Don't fucking bother, A'roya." Vincent cut me off. "She's not worth your time."
"Vincent's right, Vicktoria here has anger issues. That's why her hair's dyed red." Vanni shrugged.
"Oh, shut up, Vanni. All of you guys are fucking dumb." She said before disappearing into thin air.
Well, I thought so, but she popped up right in front of me, baring her fangs and her glowing red eyes bulging, ready to kill me. She almost got close enough to rip my neck out when she was pulled back as I fell.
Vicktoria let out an agonizing scream.......Vincent had broken her arm.....in two.
"Go ahead and tell mom. I don't give a fuck." Vincent said nonchalantly, putting Vicktoria's arm in her other hand.
Vivian gasped. "Vincent! She's your little sister."
"I don't know why you thought that would work on me, Viv. I don't care."
"See, now, me personally, Vicktoria," Vanni started. "I would not that level of disrespect; now, that's just me, though."
Vicktoria growls at Vanni, her chest rising and falling harshly. I sit on the floor, absolutely still. I'm shitting myself, maybe pissed myself a little.
Vincent ignored his sisters who were arguing and bent down beside me, pushing my hair out of my face. "Are you ok," I shook my head, but he glared at me in disbelief, cupping my face. "No, you're not A'roya. Stop fucking lying."
I grabbed his wrist softly. "I just–It–It happened so fast. I didn't expect that. We were talking and then–and then she—"
"A'roya, I'd kill her before she would get to you. Calm down, I don't want you having panic attacks."
I shook my head. "Please don't," I whispered.
I didn't know I was crying until he wiped my tears.
God, I'm so embarrassing. Why am I fucking crying?
Vincent helped me up, obviously ignoring my thoughts and holding me close to his chest as his sisters were now staring at us. Vicktoria was nowhere to be found again, sparking panic again, and Vincent could feel it. He rubbed my hip comfortingly. "Where the fuck is Vicktoria?" He sneered.
"Calm down. She went to get her hand re-attached." Vicky said, naturally.
Vivian smiled. "You must really love her."
Vincent didn't look phased by her comment. "I do."
My heart fluttered.

"So, have you guys fucked then?" Vanni asked, and Vincent glared at her.
"Always find a damn way to ruin something." Vincent scoffed. "But no, A'roya's a cock block."
I smacked his chest. "Vincent!"

"You're married?" Vivian frowned out of nowhere.
We finally were able to move out of Vincent's room and into the living room. Vicktoria hadn't come back and everything was peaceful.
I did learn that Vicktor was Vicktoria's twin brother and they were especially close.
They explained that they held no hard feelings against me because their grandfather from their father's side killed their grandmother with their mother's side.
They've learnt that people look like their ancestors and that doesn't mean they're the same person.....sometimes. Vincent looked like their grandfather...it happens.
After that was cleared they moved on to my life.
I hesitated before looking at Vincent.
"Yea, she's married, so?"
"How-?"
"I can see glimpses of a person, a lot more when I touch them." Vivian explained. "There is something wrong, but I can't see anymore. I hope you have good intentions."
"I do, Vincent's beautiful." I teased as he glared at me.
"Her heart's clean." Vicky responded.
All this freaky power talk is a little unnerving.
Vanni wriggled her eyebrows. "Wow, Vicky says your heart's clean. How kind can you possibly be."
"Too kind." Vincent quickly answered, looking away from me when I glared.
Vanni giggled, shoving Vicky playfully. "Mum's gonna love you." She said to me and I smiled.
"She soo will." Vivian agreed, stretching out the word 'so' like an obnoxious teenage girl.
"Vivian, you're thirty-four, be serious." Vincent said, rolling his eyes.
I watched them banter back and forth, it was hilarious to say the least. Vincent always got something to say, so does Vanni, they seem to have that in common.
Vivian's thirty-four, she is currently a stay-at-home mom, has a husband named Ray and three children, two boys and a girl. She's absolutely addicted to staying young and kids.
Vickey's twenty-eight, the executive of their company, also is married but has no kids. She complains that her mom is pushing her to give her grandchildren but she wants to be thirty first.
Vicktoria's twenty-six, not married, has no kids, she is successful as one of the managers of the family company but is feared by everyone...obviously. She has struggled with social outings ever since Vicktor died and has major anger issues.
Vanni's the youngest, at twenty-four. She is the CFO (Chief financial officer), she's good with numbers and she's described herself as a slut, not me. She has a son and she is not married.
This was all I gathered about Vincent's sisters when they told me about themselves. I didn't tell them about Derek or about the abuse and Vincent didn't say anything either. Only that I was acting like a nun and being a cockblocker and that he loves me.
He loves me.

"Vincent? What are you–" I bumped into Vincent coming out of the bathroom, with only a towel hanging at his hips. Water glistening his toned torso, his....his nipple piercings.
Oh my god. It's so hot.
Vincent smirked. "Do you need something?"
You.
Oh my god, shut up, he can hear you.
Us, we're in this together.
"Nothing, I–"
Eyes off the damn nipples damn.
I took my eyes off his nipples and looked at his smug look. "I–I wanted to know i–if you know, if we could have a sleepover?"
Vincent scoffed. "What are we? Twelve?"
I pursed my lips and crossed my arms. "Yes, we're gonna act like it because I've never been to a sleepover."
"Are you even human?" Vincent asked, still half naked in front of me.
"Y-yes, Vincent. I– can you put clothes on?"
Vincent smirked, taking long strides over to me as my back hit the wall. "Why?" He put his tattooed hands on each side of me.
Oh my god, muscled arms and tattoos are so hot.
Pay attention whore.
"You're distracting me–ah, Vincent!" He put his hands on my waist, pulling me closer to him.
I'm not used to being so close to a man without being hit, the last time I've been safe in a man's arms was when I was a kid with my dad.
"A'roya," he whispers, admiring my face.
"Vincent," I whispered back, playing with the wet hairs on the nape of his neck.
"I love you."
I must've smiled so damn wide. I put my forehead on his, trying to reel in tears.
God, I'm such a crybaby.
"I love you too."
Vincent sighed confidently. "Oh, I know."
I sighed and rolled my eyes.
At this point I'm used to this man.
