1 month later....
Rosalie's POV
It had been a rough month and the coming ones were going to be even worse with learning how to manage my witch abilities to living without my wolf and being a mother of two.
Dash walked in with a crying Adira in his arms.
"I think she's hungry." He said and placed her in my arms.
"Hey baby." I cooed in a baby voice. "It's Ok don't cry." With Dash's help I unbuttoned my shirt and started breastfeeding her.
"She's one angry little girl." He laughed as he sat on the edge of the bed.
"That she is." I agreed and pecked her forehead.
Dash had been such a big help with Adira before and after no longer needed to be put in the incubator he spent most of his time with her and Cage and I couldn't help but admire what a great father he was to both of them despite all the things that were happening around us. He often said she looked a lot like me but I had a feeling she was going to turn out like him.
"Where's Cage?" I asked.
"He's with Damon, kid loves his grandfather." He responded and I smiled.
It was crazy how Cage easily adapted to every new member of the family. He had become very fond of my parents whereas I still found it hard to come to terms with the fact that I had actual parents but despite that I did spend as much time as I could with them.
After feeding her I gave her a bath while Dash offered to dress her up.
"That's not how you use a diaper." I laughed at how he was doing it.
"It's harder than it seems." he huffed wrapping the pervious one she had worn and threw it into the diaper bin.
"Let me show you." I got out of bed and slowly walked over to the changing table and showed him the correct way of doing it.
"She looks a lot like you." he smiled while picking her up.
"What do you expect, she was in my belly after all." I joked.

Over the few weeks Adira and everyone said that she had started looking even more like me compared to the time she was just born, Elena even said she was a replica of me when I was a baby.
"On the bright side she has my hair." he spoke with pride.
"Like that's a big achievement." I mocked and we laughed.
Because I had not fully healed he helped me to the rocking chair and placed Adira in my arms before he sat opposite me. I sang a lullaby to her and in no time she had fallen asleep. I placed her in the crib and sat in my bed.
"You know you don't have to watch our every move." I teased but he didn't find it funny.
"I just don't want to miss any moment in her life or let anyone harm any of you." He responded seriously as he sat on the edge of the bed.
"No one is going to." I assured. "How are things going with Evita?" I asked changing the topic.
A few days after waking up he had told me everything that had happened, the thought of Martin finally being out of our lives was a relief but knowing Martha was the one helping him was heart breaking. She only befriended me because of him and the entire time I thought she knew nothing she actually knew everything about me because he had told her. I found out that the creature that attacked her was in fact sent by Damon to kill her but I saved her.
I considered her to be my family but I guess she never saw me as that bright Dash had said Penelope and Charlie had taken care of her and I did not want to concern myself with how they had done it, yes I know it seemed cold but I just had other things to figure out at the moment and she was the least of my priorities.
"We're getting there." He gave a small smile.
"I'm glad." I smiled.
It was great to see him happy, finally working out his issues and letting go of the many grudges he held.

"What of you and your parents?" he asked.
"We are getting there too." I shrugged and he nodded.
There was an awkward silence for a moment till Dash spoke.
"So I'm going back to the pack." He told me.
"Already?" I frowned.
"Yeah, Martha gave a confession that I had no hand in your kidnapping so the council with full knowledge of how incompetent Ericson is came to a decision that I should be alpha again."
"That's great news." I hugged him.
"But I won't be taking it back, Ackerly held a meeting with all the alphas of every pack in the werewolf kingdom and brought the issue of me being the king of all werewolf to their attention-"
"And?" I asked cutting him short.
"And most of those who knew and heard of me and works convinced others to allow the cause of having one werewolf to rule over the kingdom, not that they had much of a choice." He stated.
"But what's the problem, you don't seem as happy about it."
"I know it's my birthright to be king but I'm not ready for this, I barely know anything about my abilities." He sighed deeply.
"But you've ruled before." I pointed out.
"It's different Rose, I was prepared to rule a pack not a whole race of werewolves." He retorted.
"Dash you don't need to be ready for anything, I've known you for a long time and believe me when I say you were born for this." I held his face in my hand. "You'll make a great King."
"Thanks, I really needed that." He told me with a small smile.
"Come here." I hugged him.
"Will you move to the castle with me, you are my queen after all." He asked after we pulled away from each other.
"Dash you and I can't be together." I sighed moving back even more. "A lot has happened and I need time to get a grasp of it all."
"I understand." He nodded disappointedly. "And I'm sorry for everything I ever put you through."
"I know you are and I forgive you but you and I won't work out, it's going to take more than you saying sorry for me to move past everything." I held his hand in mine. "But I'll still help you rule as queen that's it, I don't want our kids to grow the way we did." "I don't know how we'll make this work
but we have to."
"Thank you." He hugged me and pulled away.
"For what?" I stared at him confused, he did hear I just rejected him.
"For always beings being kind and understanding with me and for agreeing to rule by my side." He explained. "I know I'll be a better ruler with you
by my side."
"You've always been great on your own, you just let your anger consume and control you otherwise without all that, you are a remarkable person." I told him. "And I'm happy you are working on your issues."
"You've always had faith in me, why."
"Because I know you always want the best for everyone." I smiled. "That reminds me, if you leave the pack then who will take over as alpha?"
"Penelope, I haven't told her yet but I know she'll make a great alpha for our people."
"She's always been a far better leader than Ericson." I agreed with his decision. "She'll be very happy."
"I know." He smile.
We talked about random issues for hours before a screaming Cage barged in waking up Adira.
"Cage." I scolded while Dash picked her up and held her against his chest.
"What." He pouted.
"You woke you sister up." Dash stated.
"It's not my fault she's a light sleeper." He snorted and threw himself on my bed making us both sigh.
"We have a lot of work cut out for us." Dash mouthed making me laugh.
