Dash's POV
"Is mummy going to be OK?" Cage asked as we lay on the grass at the edge of the waterfall.
"Hmm." I nodded not sure myself.
Before Rosalie's surgery could even begin Cage woke up because of all the noise so I had to take him away from the house and keep him busy.
"When you mother and I were together we would usually skip school and spend the entire day by the waterfall that was nearby." I smiled at the memory.
"You never tell me how you two met." He said while leaning into my side.
"It was pretty much love at first sight really." I closed my eyes. "I still remember that day like it was yesterday."
*Flashback*
"Dude, I still can't believe it." Shaun rumbled on about his problematic friend with benefits as we walked into the gymnasium.
"Will you stop complaining already." Angelo groaned. "We've told you to end whatever you have with that her but it seems like you don't want to."
"She's crazy bro, she'll probably do some crazy shit."
"Then that's on you." I patted his back.
Just then we heard an ear piercing scream.
Turning to were it was coming from we saw Charlie on top of the girl Shaun had been complaining about.
"I dare you to repeat that!" She yelled at Haylee.
"Charlie stop, it's not worth it." A petite girl with bright red hair said as she pulled her off the girl.
Her voice was the sweetest one I had ever heard, it was music to my ears.
"No Rose, I need to teach this little bitch a lesson, no one messes with you." Charlie protested.
"She's just a bully with insecurities, making other feel bad makes her feel like she's a better person but really she's not." She explained while pulling

her away. "Tell her Penny."
"I'm with Charlie on this one." My young sister sided with Charlie. "She needs to be taught a lesson, no one messes with you."
"I'm alright, she hasn't hurt me."
They argued for a few minutes more till the girl was finally able to convince them to let Haylee go.
"Next time you bully her, I won't ask my brother to deal with you, I'll do it myself." Penelope threatened.
They turned to our direction and I finally got a full view of the girl.
Honestly she was breathe taking with her red hair hang over her glowing fair milky toned face, barely visible freckles spread delightfully across her cheeks and bright amber eyes buried within their sockets as they glittered in the light of the sun. She was average height and weight with the same skin tone all over her body as that on her face.
"Dash." Penelope pulling on my arm pulled me out of my trance.
"Hey Penny." I smiled and pecked her cheek before turning to Charlie and doing the same. "Hi." I turned over to the girl with a smile that she returned with a polite response.
"Hello."
I almost moaned at the sound of her voice. It was so soft and angelic.
"I'm Dash." I held out my hand for her to shake.
"Rosalie." She placed her hand in mine and for the first time in life I felt sparks fly at our touch and she felt it to because she quickly pulled her arm
away. "I'll see you guys late, I've got English class." She held on to her bag and walked past me.
Unable to control myself I turned and kept my eyes on her till she disappeared into the large hallway.

*End of Flashback*
"Did she know you loved her from the first day you saw her?" Cage asked with a big smile on his face.
"I guess." I chuckled. "But after a month I told her about it and we became quite close friends.
"Why aren't you together anymore?"
"Because love is far more complicated than it seems." I ruffled his hair. "You'll understand when you reach the right age."
"Did grandpa tell you that when you were my age?" he asked sarcastically and I laughed.
"More or less." I shrugged.
We chatted more till the burner in my pocket rang.
"Let me take this real quick yeah." I told Cage getting up and walking to a reasonable distance where I could still see him.
"Hello." I spoke into the phone.
"You won't believe this." Angelo spoke in a hushed tone. "You were right, there a mole in the pack and I swear you won't believe who it is, hell
I'm still shocked at my findings."
"Who is it?"
"So, I went through the burner you found on Martin, and you won't believe this, he was actually talking to Martha."
"Bullshit." I responded without hesitation.
"I said that too but I went through her things and found a burner, I called from Martin's, and it rang."
"Fuck!" I groaned.
"So what should I do with her?" He asked.
"Nothing, just carry on with your day to day activities and don't tell her or anyone anything, I'll deal with her later."
"Alright." He responded sounding quite disappointed in my response. "How are Rosalie and Cage?"
"Cage is great all healed up actually but Rosalie got really worse so they are removing the baby out of her womb." I explained briefly.
"How it going?"
"I haven't been told anything yet but I'm sure I'll be informed soon." I replied. "I have to call, I'll call you later."
"Alright."
With that we hang up and I went back to Cage, we lay back down and talked about different things.
"So what will you name my little sister?" he asked.
"Adira Kella Kingston."
"What do the names mean?"
"Adira means strong and powerful while Kella means warrior." I replied with a smile.
"So she's going to be a strong powerful warrior, just like mama?"
"That's right, she's going to be just like your mama."
A few hours after the sunrise Cage fell asleep and Dorothy called me, they had finally finished the operation.
"How are they?" I asked after putting Cage to sleep.
"It went great actually, you want to see the baby?" Dorothy asked.
"Yeah." I nodded quickly.
She led the way and the second I entered the room my eyes went to Elena's arms.
"Want to hold her?" She asked and I nodded holding out my arms.
She placed the small being now wrapped in a fluffy gray sweatshirt because there were no baby clothes. I looked down at her and my heart
clenched. She looked so adorable with her nose and lips.
"Hello there." I cooed with a big smile plastered on my face. She moved her mouth and arms at the sound my voice.
"What will you name her?" Elena asked.
"Adira Kella Kingston."

Displacement
or, Deux Navires Passant dans la Nuit If you wake up in a new world, with only your memories of home to guide you, you have to trust the first people you meet. The first people Leah meets seem to know her - but not her. Leah is thrust into a fighter's role that does not quite suit her, and those who 'rescued' her do their best to help her fit in. They hint at a world that Leah can only vaguely understand without serious research and exploration, but how to do that research, when everyone believes her to be a local of this place, and too many questions might draw unwanted attention? And what about home? The more Leah learns about this world, the less she believes that she woke up on the right side of the bed - or more accurately, on the right side of the conflict. With magic being strictly regulated in her current "home," maybe it's time to uproot and look for a new set of allies... -- Displacement is a queer / lgbt bodyswap isekai: Leah Armande falls out of a Quebecois city into an unfamiliar fantasy world, and Leah Talesh falls out of her adventuring party's homeland and into an unfamiliar industrial world. The story follows both women as they navigate their new surroundings, trying at times to find a way home, at times just to pass for a local, and at times to actually make a life for themselves in their new world. Expect in-depth politics and worldbuilding, sapphic moments, foibles, and far too much time spent either in libraries or convalescing (or sometimes both).
