《The Last Lycan Alpha King》Chapter 52

Dash's POV
Angered at how long Martin was taking to die I lunged myself at him and threw concurrent punches to his face till he lost his balance and stumbled to the ground, not daring to give him time to recover I continuously kicked him in the stomach and the head causing him to wail in pain.
At this point we were both covered in blood and panting like dogs, we were exhausted and injured but no one was going to give up till one of us ended up dead.
"Fuck!" I growled when he used his free arm to pull my leg making me lose balance and fall to the hard floor with impact so hard it felt like I broke a few ribs. Groaning and clenching my sides Martin used it to his advantage and got on me and rendered punches to my face. Satisfied with himself he struggled but eventually got up and stared down at me.
"You're a good for nothing piece of shit." He spat is bloody saliva on me. "You never deserved to be crowned alpha, you are just a whore's bastard!"
He rendered a kick to my abdomen. "Alpha blood can't even make any difference with you, you are just the same old unwanted bastard."
His taunts angered me, I was more than a bastard and my parents not wanting me was not my fault, it was not on me but them. I was tired of being reminded on how I was a mistake by everyone in life.
"And that baby, I'll be doing her a huge favor by killing you, you are a useless piece of fucking shit and no child deserves to have a father like you." He kicked me with each word he uttered. "You deserve nothing but misery and pain."

I deserved happiness and this asshole had no right to tell me what I did and didn't deserve, I was going to end him and show him just how much better I was compared to him and how much I deserved because I was more than a bastard child and I sure as hell was a great father to Cage and I was going to continue to be one even with my baby girl.
Grabbing his leg quickly and pinning him to the ground, I wrapped my legs around his own leaving him immobile, my arms went around his neck, strangling him.
"I am better than you, you fucking psychopath, unlike you I've got a son who loves me, a daughter whose going to love me as much as her brother does and everyone else who love and appreciate me." I tightened my hold as he struggled to get out of my hold. "I'm not as pathetic as you and this is the last time you'll ever hurt me or the people I love."
"You're pathetic-" Before he could finish his statement I twisted his neck snapping it. I was tired of listening to him talk, it was high time I put an end to him.
I pushed Martin's lifeless body to the side and got off the ground. My body was sore but I didn't care about it my eyes went to Rosalie who seemed ok but in the blink of an eye fell of the seat to the ground and started fitting.
"Rose, Rosalie." I panicked pulling her limp body against my chest. She kept fitting and white foam poured out of her mouth. I leaned in closer and smelt it.
'Poison'
The scumbag had given her poison.
"Fuck!" I yelled patting myself for a knife, upon finding it I slit my palm and poured the blood oozing from the wound into her mouth. I didn't know if it was enough to cleanse the poison from her system but one thing I was sure of was that it would slow the reaction of the poison giving me more time to get her to my mother.

Lifting her bridal style I carried her to the van and carefully placed her in the back seat before I got into the front myself and drove as fast as I could without getting into an accident.
"Mum." I spoke into the phone that was on speaker. I had called her the second I got into the car and she picked up on the first ring.
"Thank goodness you are alright." She breathed with relief. "What of Rosalie?"
"I have her but that son of a bastard gave her some sort of poison, I don't know if she's going to make it." I peeped at the back and she was laying peacefully with her eyes closed.
"Are you on your way?" She asked.
"Yeah, I gave her my blood, it is enough to at least slow the effect of the poison right."
"Yes, to some extent I guess." She sounded unsure.
"Mum!"
"Yes, yes it is." She answered more certain this time. "But I don't know for how long it will last, you need to get here fast."
"Ok." With that I hang up and tried my hardest to check if Rosalie was still breathing while driving at an inhumane speed.
After hanging up my mother had called me back instructing me to bring her to the warehouse instead of the motel seeing as it was way closer and there would be less people there.
Reaching the warehouse I lifted her out of the car and brought her into the room my mother and the doctor had prepared. I placed her on the small hospital bed that was setup and took a small step back as the doctor got to work.
"You have to save them both!" I ordered.
"Dash let him work." Ackerly pulled me out of the room.
"Fuck!" I growled hitting the wall. "How the hell could I have let this happen! How could I have been so reckless!"
"Stop beating yourself up over this, there is no way you could have known." He assured me.
There was nothing any of them where going to say that was going to make me feel better about myself. I had failed as a son, a mate and now as a father. I couldn't even do something as basic as protecting my unborn child.
The thought of kids snapped my attention to someone I hadn't bothered to inquire about.
"How's Cage, where is he?" I asked.
"We found him in a really bad state son." Ackerly sighed. "He was barely alive when we got to him."
"Great, just great." I whispered sadly running a hand through my hair.
"Hey, his still alive just in a terrible state." He assured. "But the doctor and your mother assured me that he is going to be ok, he's a very strong lad, after all he takes after his father."

Truck-kun Gets Sacrificed
Driscoll is my own version of a world with a game-like "system" of endless possibilities. MC has his own status, classes, skills, magic, and a living greatswordstaff in a world of monsters, demi-humans of all kinds, and even the supernatural. Sound good? Well, at first for Tru, it was a dream come true(I'm sorry). At least until reality hits him again and again. His quest from God is vague and must be discovered by him along the way. Hopefully, he can figure that out someday but for now, this new world's threats and his potential for power are motivation aplenty. With His new partner by his side, he's ready to embark on his mission of infinite sacrifice, however many lives it takes. The setting is pretty standard for fantasy, with my beginner attempts at writing. Litrpg elements are definitely involved here but It'll calm down as the story progresses and the world's foundation is laid. Judeo/Christian themes and principles take a major role and will be a backbone for much of the story. The fights will paint a picture in the mind rather than just be a bunch of number crunching. While he is meant to be a sacrifice to save all of Driscoll, he needs to gain enough power and influence to be a worthwhile sacrifice, or so he thinks. And so carnage will ensue as he avoids death as best he can while at the same time sacking himself for others. Truck Coon is your average determined, jiu-jitsu practitioner, tax associate that just started his new career. He dies to save kids from a semi-truck(Truck Coon got truck-kun'd, making him Truck-kun) and is transported to another world rather conventionally by God. Upon his arrival, he is quickly confronted with his first conflicts in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. Chapters are currently between 2300 and 4000 words and I try to post weekly, but also deal with severe limitations that cause late posts often. I have zero actual experience with writing stories and only recently started reading web novels in 2020. If you end up hating it, let me know your thoughts in a detailed comment or review, especially if you love it though :D I want to get better and welcome the feedback, so expect changes to be made with any flaws that y'all point out which I don't already have plans to address in future chapters. That being said, keep it constructive in nature, please. I have no Idea how the formatting and such will go, so if you like or dislike some techniques I try, give me that well-appreciated feedback! Thank you for reading.
