《The Last Lycan Alpha King》Chapter 51

Dash's POV
"Everything's ready here alpha." Hugo spoke into his walkie-talkie.
"Copy." I responded.
We were all now in position and were just waiting for Lawrence's signal.
"It's done." His voice rang though our walkie-talkies
"It's go time." I told everyone as I pulled the ski mask over my face and run into the cave.
I skillfully and quietly killed every soldier in my way just as we had planned. Sneaking up on and killing each one I ensured to leave no trace to alert the others.
Having lost count of how many creatures I had killed I finally reached the room I knew they were holding her in.
Taking a deep breath I kicked the steel door down and I barged into the room.
"I was wondering when you were going to show up." The least person I expected to see again spoke.
"Martin." The growl escaped my lips.
"That's right Dash, it is I, in the flesh." He smirked moving to a corner.
Quickly I moved deeper into the room and stared at Martin, he was standing behind someone. My gaze switched to them and it was Rosalie, she was almost unrecognizable, her scent was so faint it was no wonder I couldn't pick it up. Her body looked so pale and frail with countless bruises littering her once fair skin. My eyes moved lower and they landed on her swollen belly that she her thin hand rubbing it protectively.
"Rose." I called but she didn't react at all, her barely open eyes were fixed to the ground. "Rosalie." I called again but she was still unresponsive.
"You motherfucker what the fuck did you do to her!" I growled charging at him.
"Take one more step and I'll slit her throat." He warned holding a small blade to her neck. He grazed her skin leaving a mark but she didn't flinch at the burning sensation.
"I swear when I get my hands on you I'll kill you." Scar took over making my claws come out.

"I'd pick my words wisely alpha." He mocked. "After all, your precious mate's life is in my hands and of course your little princess." He squatted to
Rosalie's level since she was seated on a metal seat and placed a kiss on her belly.
"Get away from her!" I bellowed breathing heavily. I was going to kill him slowly.
"Hush now, Norma is asleep." He stood and up and placed his hand over hers. "That's right, I took the liberty to know her gender and give her a name, it's the least I can do because I surely won't let her live."
"Martin get the fuck away from her!" I barked unable to control myself, my blood had reached its boiling point and the only thing I wanted was to kill Martin.
"I told you to choose your words wisely or I will slit her fucking neck and she'll breed out on the fucking ground." He pulled Rosalie's head by the hair exposing her neck and placing the blade on it.
"We need to go about this carefully or he'll kill our mate and the baby." Scar told me and even though I was raging mad I agreed with him.
Martin was a psychopath and ever since we were kids he had this obsession of always wanting to be better than me, he always wanted me to be in a position of need and only he could help, that's one of the main reasons him and I stopped being friends.
Yes, Martin and I used to be friends in fact, he was one of the first friends I ever made in the pack. We used to be the best of friends until I found out he was the one who would actually plant things that would get me in trouble with my father, to some extent he was part of the reason I was sent to stay with my mother and I always hated him for that. When I returned to the pack I expected him to feel guilty and apologize but he never did, in fact he often bragged about being the reason for most of the unfortunate events that happened to me and also being kicked out of the pack, he claimed it showed just how powerful he was while even though I had alpha blood I was nothing but a mere bastard.

"So you couldn't just get to me directly, you just had to go through Rosalie." I started before adding the last part that I knew would bruise his fragile ego. "As always."
"You my friend did not know I had her." He pointed out with a smirk.
"That's only because I thought you were dead otherwise, you're the first person I would have suspected actually." I pointed out. "I have to hand it to you though, the kidnapping skim and hid out where a tremendous idea but I'm sure it wasn't your idea considering you were working with Damon."
His facial expression changed at the mention of the name Damon.
"That's right I know all about your psychopath mutant friend." I scoffed. "You're not as smart as you think."
"I don't think so, I'm the one with your mate, not Damon."
Damon was the leader of the mutant werewolves, he apparently was the brains of the entire operation, I had no clue as to why he wanted Rosalie but I was going to find out soon. Hugo and Curt had already captured him and taken him to the warehouse while Lawrence and Ackerly rescued Cage and they were already on their way to my mother, she was waiting for them with a doctor to check him and ensure he was fine.
"But it's all thanks to his plan and men that you have her in your grasp otherwise you wouldn't have shit on your own." I mocked making him growl.
My plan was working and if he was still the same Martin I knew he was going to slipup at some point and that's when I was going to make a move.
"I planned all this shit and all that fucker did was follow my lead!" He yelled wanting me to acknowledge that he was indeed smart.
I saw him try to contact someone probably one of his men and I laughed.
"I'm sure you're trying to reach your men," I laughed wickedly before my facial expression changed to an evil one. "I killed them all, its just you and me here buddy."
"Fuck!" He cussed gritting his teeth.
"Maybe it's high time we settled this grudge for good. I'm tired of always having to deal with your petty childish ass."
"I'm childish." He laughed tauntingly. "I'm not the one who holds grudges like a little bitch."
"That was the old me, you need to get acquainted with the new and improved version Martin." I smirked.
"And you need to get acquainted with the new Martin, I'm no longer that little boy you could intimidate." He smirked.
"Great then, you against me right here right now, no weapons just our bare hands." I stepped back throwing the gun I held in my hands to the side and beckoning him to do the same. When he made no move if laughed tauntingly. "Are you still scared I can whoop your little ass again?"
"I'm not fucking scared of you." He gritted out clearly annoyed by my words, I was bruising his fragile ego.
"Then come fight me pup!" I spread out my arms inviting him to come try.
"I'll show you that I'm better than you, I've always been better." He growled, his nose flaring as he breathed hard.
"I've always been better and stronger than you, nothing has changed you will forever remain beneath me." I taunted, my words hurt his ego so much he lunged himself at me.
