《The Last Lycan Alpha King》Chapter 49

Dash's POV
"This is taking longer than I wanted." I groaned frustrated.
"Clearly you need help." Angelo stated.
We had met at a dinner out of town where no one would see us.
"How's the pack?" I changed the topic.
"Messy, very messy." He sighed gulping his beer.
"What's that supposed to mean, what are you doing?"
"I'm doing the best I can, we all are but that dipshit just won't rest till he ruins everything we have worked so hard to build."
"Fuck." I gritted out pinching the bridge of my nose.
"I know you are doing your best here but Dash we need you back, Crimson pack needs you back, I need you back." He sounded desperate which meant things had really gotten as bad as he said.
"I know but Angelo I can't leave Rosalie to die in hell knows who's hands." I sighed. "I need to find her and my son."
"How do you expect to do that when you don't even know where to start from." He scoffed.
"I know where to start from, I'm close to finding her all I just need is to figure out this last piece of the damn puzzle." I growled.
"You know just as well as I do that only one person can help you find them."
"I'm not going to ask for her help." I threw that option out long ago.
"Well then say goodbye to your mate and son." He pointed out making me growl.
"Dash don't let your pride get the better of you, just go to her and ask for help simple and staring forward, you won't die and neither will your family." He tried to convince.
"I'm leaving, send my regards to Shaun and the girls." I got up.

"Think about it Dash, don't let your family die when you could have helped!" He yelled after me causing heads to turn and stare at me.
Sighing I got into my truck and drove off to nowhere in the hopes of trying to clear my head.
"I know you can feel that she's in danger just as much as I can." Scar told me.
"She's strong." I retorted trying to convince myself more than him.
"How long will she continue to be strong, she's gonna give up eventually."
I knew Scar and everyone else was right but I just couldn't bring myself to seek her help.
"Hey." A smile broke on her face upon opening the door and seeing my face.
"Hi." I responded in monotone making her smile turn into a frown.
"Come on in." She opened the door wider inviting me in.
Taking a few deep breaths I walked into the place that held most of the traumatic memories I went through in my childhood.
"Take a seat." She offered but I shook my head no.
"The only reason I'm here is because I need you to help me put all the pieces of my puzzle together." I went straight to the point.
"Alright, come." She lead the way and I followed.
Entering the attic that was once my room the hairs on my skin rose. this was the exact room I got tortured.
"Are you ok?" Evita asked placing a hand on my shoulder and I flinched. "Sorry, I'm so sorry." She kept apologizing.
"Its alright." I shrugged moving to the table and placing all the papers and other things I had gathered over the months.
"Is this all you've managed?" She asked looking through the documents and I nod.

"Ok but I'll need some time."
"I don't have time, my mate and son need to be found soon, she's pregnant for goodness sakes." I told her.
"I understand." She sighed. "I'm sure I'll have something for you by noon tomorrow."
"Alright." I nodded before making my way out of the house.
Just as promised Evita called at noon asking me to meet her at the house.
Upon explaining all her findings to me, she gave me a few places to begin my search from.
"Where do you think you are going." I narrowed my eyes at the woman, she looked prepared.
"It's too dangerous out there, you can't go alone." Evita stated.
"I don't need your help, I can take care of myself just fine." I retorted making her frown.
"You still need me, I know those woods like the back of my hand." She persisted. "Besides I'm far more prepared for anything than you are."
"What makes you think I'm not prepared." I narrowed my eyes.
"You know nothing on what to expect in those woods." She pointed out making me groan. I hated the fact that she was right and I was wrong.
"Fine but make even the slightest mistake and I swear you'll regret it." I threatened but she seemed unbothered by it.
Loading everything into the van we drove off into the night.
Rosalie's POV
It had been months now and all the hope I had of Dash finding us had finished completely and I couldn't help but think maybe he wasn't even searching for us at all. Maybe him and Lucinda had even got married by now.
"You look better like that." Martin taunted as he walked into my cell.
Not bothering to respond I looked away.
"Oh come on now princess, don't be such a Debby downer." He squatted in front of me and raised my fave so I could look into his eyes.
"Guess Dashy washy isn't coming to save you now is he." He pouted his lip mocking me. "Oh Rosy, I always told you that fucker never loved you but no, you still ahead and now look at you."
"Fuck off." I spat in his face causing him to chuckle.
"If I were you I'd be very nice to me considering the fate of your little bastards lays in my hands." The smirk on his face grew wider when I protectively wrapped a hand over my belly and eyes drifted to Cage who lay lifeless on the cold floor.
With countless scars and bruises littering his now pale skin I couldn't help but cry as I couldn't do anything to save him.
My belly had now become big and noticable even from afar. But thinking of what Martin would do to it the second it was born terrified me.
"Anyways I'm leaving now, it's always a pleasure talking to you princess." Leaning in he placed a kiss on my forehead and strolled out, hands in his pockets and whistling.
The second I was certain he couldn't hear me I broke down, I wanted to get my kids out of here, they didn't deserve any of this but I couldn't.
"Get me out of here!" I screamed desperately.

War and violence were everywhere, and the people suffered until one day the death lord had enough. Breaking a long-standing alliance with the Life lord, they killed him and resurrected him as a pawn. Before long, all but the fire lord were puppets under their rule, but the people rejoiced as war was all but finished... … but it was not to be. The death lord grew old. By the time of their final victory, they were already at death door with the armies of the fallen lord still disputing their heritage. Desperate to take things under control before his final demise, a ritual was conceived, one to transform the dying lord into an undying lich. The ritual worked but not without an unforeseen consequence: only the living can control the dead.
