Dash's POV
Another day had come to an end and we had not found either Rosalie or Cage yet and the more time passed the stronger the strange feeling in the pit of my stomach became.
"Are you ok?" Penelope asked taking a seat beside me.
"I feel like their in a lot of danger." I confessed.
She took my hand in hers and squeezed it comfortingly.
"I feel it too." She sighed. "But I know both of them are strong fighters, Rosalie has been through a lot and Cage well, the boy does have the blood of one of the strongest werewolves to exist and that of a fighter running in his veins, they are going to be alright."
"Thanks Penelope, I really needed to hear that." I smiled feeling slightly better.
"Alpha," one of the maids walked in and bowed. "Everyone is required to be present in the grand hall."
"What's going on?" Penelope frowned.
"No one is aware on the reason why."
"We are coming." I dismissed her and with a bow she left.
"Come on." I got up and held my hand out to Penelope who gladly took it.
"Dash what's going on?" She kept asking as we made our way to the hall that was now filled with most members of the pack.
"Penny what's going on." Charlie whose baby bump had was now showing asked walking over to us.
"That's what I'm trying to find out as well." She sighed.
"Hey Charlie." I smiled pecking her cheek. "Pregnancy suits you."
"Tell that to my swollen feet." She wiggled her puffy feet making me laugh. "Come on, lets get you and Mateo seated."
"Mateo?" she stared at me confused.

"That's what I'll name my godson." I smiled looking between her and the bump. "Now come." I held her hand in my free one and lead them to their seats in the front where the guys later joined.
"Baby what's going on?" Charlie asked before he could even sit down."
"I've got absolutely no idea." He shrugged making her both women frown.
"I named your son Mateo." I changed the topic trying to lighten the mood a little.
"Its not going to be a boy and her name will be Samantha." He scorned.
"Who names a child Samantha." I taunted making him glare at me.
"Samantha is a great name." he stated and I mimicked him making everyone laugh.
"I swear I don't know why I'm friends with you." He rolled his eyes but smiled.
We sat and made random jokes till the werewolf council of elders accompanied by my father and Elizabeth walked in and the room fell silent. They headed to the podium and took their seats.
"We wont waste much of your time here ladies and gentlemen." Ackerly spoke.
"It's never a good thing when they come here." The creases on Penelope's forehead deepened with every passing second.
"Calm down baby." I heard Angelo trying to comfort her.
"I'm sure everyone has been informed on the matter that Rosalie Blake is your Luna and she is missing." He continued while his cold blue eyes scanned the room. "Your alpha, Dash Kingston is alleged to have had a hand in it." He paused.
My eyes landed on my father who was already staring at me with a mischievous glint swimming in his green orbs the corner of his lips curled into a wicked smirk.

"The council had given him 24 hours to prove his innocence but its been 38 hours and he's been unable to do so which has pushed the us into taking a drastic measure." He paused again before his eyes landed on mine. "Alpha step forward."
Majestically I got up from my seat and made my way to the podium where I had got a clear view of all the people. My pack was one of the biggest in the northern region so you can imagine the multitudes in the impatiently waiting to hear my fate.
I scanned through the crowd and found almost everyone held the same worried expression on their faces which of course I never expected.
"With the power vested in me as Chairperson of the Werewolf council I hereby strip you Dashiell Acheros Grant Kingston off your title as alpha of Crimson pack." The minute he uttered the words the room was filled with gasps and incoherent mutters. "As of today you are no longer alpha."
"Alright." I gave him a curt nod feeling unaffected by everything.
"Ericson please step forward." Ackerly he beckoned my bother who had a huge smile on his face. Walking past me he stood in front and knelt as instructed. "With all the powers vested in me as werewolf council chairperson, I hereby declare you Ericson Drew Kingston as alpha and leader of Crimson pack."
The second everyone was allowed to leave I got up only to be held back by Ackerly.
"I had no choice but to do this." He sighed as we stood in the empty hallway.
"I know and understand that." I assured but he still held a guilty expression.
This man had been one of my idols for as long as I can remember, he helped me a lot especially in molding me into the great leader I had become.
"I wish I could have done better." He shook his head.
"I know you did your best old man." I teased him and he chuckled.
We stood for a few minutes as he told me about his grandson who was born last night and I too told him about the child Rosalie and I were expecting together.
"You better find your girl soon before that imbecil run this pack and everything you've worked so hard to achieve straight into the ground." He spoke seriously.
"My mate and kids are my only priority now before anything else."
"As it should be." He agreed. "If ever you need anything don't hesitate to reach out."
"I know old man, I know." A small smile appeared on my face at the thought.
"Good."
Shortly after biding each other goodbye many pack members approached me and expressed their sadness on my dismissal which made me realize just how much I meant to them, yes I was a shitty mate but I was glad I was a great father and alpha.
Walking to my room I bumped into a raging Penelope.
"Hey, hey, relax." I pulled her into a hug and broke into tears.
"Its not fair Dash!" She kept screaming.
"I know its not fair but there's nothing anyone can do about it." I rubbed her back till she came down.
"I'm not ok with this, I'm really not." She sniffed while wiping her cheeks dry.
"I know but it is what it is." I shrugged.
