Dash's POV

"You marked me."

Just those 3 words uttered made my feet come to a halt.

Making a quick U-turn I was in her face. "What did you just say."

"You marked me." She repeated.

"What are you talking about." I glared feeling my fury grow. If this was a joke I was going to murder her.

"That night, you marked me as your mate." She spat bitterly.

"No, there's no way in hell I can mark you, No."

She pulled down the turtle neck she wore showing off my mark that graced the area between her neck and collarbone.

"No, no I didn't do that!" He shook my head stepping back horrified.

"Last I checked I only ever slept with you and not Ericson."

Her response had my blood boiling, I hated it when my brother's name rolled off her tongue.

"Shut up!" I yelled raking my hair.

"I couldn't have marked her, I couldn't have." I repeated.

"You mark is on my skin Dash Kingston and before I tell everyone the truth I suggest you find a way to get rid of it that doesn't involve bloody killing me." Saying that she pushed past me leaving the room and me to my thoughts.

Leaving the room I stumbled around the house feeling confused. Yes the moon had affected my senses but that was no excuse for my actions.

Entering the library I did a little research looking for a different alternative I could use to get rid of my mark and maybe Rosalie herself.

Spending almost 4 hours in there my efforts proved to be futile as they presented only one option which was not much of an option.

Rejection was the only option but it was dangerous especially for the one getting rejected. When rejected a wolf went threw a lot of pain which sometimes lead to paralysis or even death if unlucky.

"Fuck." A deep sigh accompanied my cuss word.

There was no way I could make Rosalie my Luna, the pain of her betrayal still hurt especially now that I caught her with Ericson, it was like she rubbed salt to the wound.

"I've been looking for you." Shaun said as he entered the library. "What are you reading."

He leaned against the edge of the table trying to take a peek but I slammed the book shut.

"What do you want." I groaned wanting to be left alone with my problems.

"I heard you and Rosalie-"

"Don't mention her name." I growled. The mention of her name infuriated me.

"I'm guessing your talk didn't go well." He sighed tracing the engravings on the cover of the thick brown paged book.

"Shaun just tell me what you want." I put my head on the table.

"Nothing, just worried about you, are you alright?"

"I am and you don't need to be." I raised my head my eyes meeting his worry filled ones.

"Don't you think it's high time you let go of all this hatred you keep inside harbor inside you." His voice was low yet serious.

"Don't start." Not having the energy for this conversation I got up carefully placing the books back on their respective shelves.

"Dash, it's not healthy for you to keep leaving like this." He pressed on. "Have you ever even asked her what happened that night."

"So she can lie to me, it's pointless."

"You need to hear her side of the story, it's not fair."

"You're supposed to be my friend not her fucking advocate!" I slammed him against one of the shelves. "Why do you even care so much what happens to her, don't tell me you fucked her too."

"That's a low blow." I pushed me back the worry in his eyes being replaced with rage. "She's like my sister."

"Fuck you and your sister." Pushing past him I left going to the gym intending to release the rage consuming me.

Hitting the punching bag till my knuckles swelled I went to my office and lucky enough, Lucinda was not there. Opening the drawer I took out a fair dose of wolfsbane and injected it into my system. At least I was certain it would numb every single emotion I felt swirling inside.

"You'll never be enough for her." The voice that tormented my soul taunted.

I hadn't heard it in a while as I no longer needed to take wolfsbane, Cage always made me happy until she returned along with the bloody voice, pain and memories I didn't want to remember, hear or feel.

"You are the definition of weak, pathetic and damaged." The voice went on. "What was she even thinking dating someone like you, I'm sure she realized her mistake and that's why she moved to Martin."

Too drained to respond or disagree I slept on the cold floor and let the tears in my eyes freely run down my cheeks.

Feeling warm rays of sun hitting my face I got up only to find Angelo and Shaun looking at me concern written all over their faces.

"What." I rubbed my face sitting up.

"What's going on with you?" Angelo spoke taking a two towards me but I held my hand up stopping him.

"Nothing."

"Dash you were laying on the floor." Shaun started.

"I'm the alpha I can lay wherever the bloody hell I want, it's non of your business."

"We are worried about you."

Getting up I dusted off my clothes then respond. "Like I told Mr advocate over there." My index finger pointed at Shaun. "There's nothing for you to worry about capisce."

Not waiting for their response I went to my room and took a cold shower.

The wolfsbane had completed finished in my system leaving me with problems and thoughts just like before. How I wished everything would just vanish just like it did.

"Where did you go last night." Cage's voice echoing through the room startled me.

Werewolves were very sensitive and alert creature especially alpha's but with everything going on I was disturbed and could pick up his scent or presence.

"Morning champ." I smiled picking him up against my bare chest. This boy surely did take all my problems away just with his presence.

"You're making me wet." He giggled as I shook my wet hair and the droplets fell on him.

"That's the plan." I laughed too before setting him back on the bed going into the closet.

"Where did you go?" I asked. "No one knew where you went."

"Nowhere, just had a load of work to get done." I lied getting dressed and going back to him.

"When grow older I'll be helping you with all the work." He beamed.

"Let's go have breakfast." I picked him up leaving the room.

Half way down the hall we bumped into Penelope.

"Hey you 2." She smiled.

"Hey." We responded.

"Dash your mum is here."
