Rosalie's POV
The week had dragged by with me trying as hard as I could to avoid Dash and how he was making me feel.
"Oh my goodness Rosalie why aren't you dressed yet!" Penelope screamed at me.
"I'm getting Cage ready first." I shrugged.
"It's only 30 minutes till the party, go and get dressed, I'll finish up with Cage."
"No it's ok." I shook my head turning my attention back to the buttons on Cage's crisp white shirt.
"No you go get dressed, you just want to make an excuse so you don't go to the party." He scolded.
"Really so you two are now ganging up on me." I challenged.
"Go and get dressed." They shooed me out of the room leaving me with no choice but to get ready.
I was in no rush so I took my time and by the time I was done getting ready it had been an hour since the party begun.
"Here I was thinking you had ditched us." Martha smiled when I walked over to where they stood.
"And miss all this, never." I joked making everyone chuckle.
"You look amazing." Ericson moved closer and pecked my cheek.
"Thanks." I blushed tightening the grip on the black purse in my hands.
"You look like you dressed to kill someone." Shaun smirked.
"Unfortunately that's not the case, I'm here to have fun and just maybe get laid." I wiggled my eyebrows.
"Yes, cheers to that!" Martha who was now fully healed passed me a shot of tequila and I downed it shocking everyone.
"What, it's gonna be a long night I need to get buzzed up." I shrugged turning to the crowd and scanning through it as I felt like someone was looking at me but then again many men had their eyes on me so I shrugged it off.
I grabbed a glass of champagne from one of the servants trays and graciously downed it.
An hour through the party I excused myself making my way to the bathroom only to bump into Lucinda. She looked elegant tonight in short sheer backless golden dress she wore with a pair of matching heels and exaggerated jewelry while her hair flowing graciously on her back.

"I thought you weren't gonna attend." She mocked, obviously she bumped into me on purpose.
"Why would I miss an event your boyfriend personally invited me to." I smirked knowing it would piss her off.
"It's only because of your son." She scoffed.
"Whatever makes you sleep at night."
"Apart from the exhaustion of having been made love to." She wiped her hair back.
"What do you want from me." I spoke bitterly.
"Nothing, I just wanted to say hello is that a problem after all you'll be seeing a lot of me from now on." Smiling she took a sip of the sparkling champagne in her black glove clad hands.
"What are you going on about." I huffed getting irritated by her presence.
"Did no one not tell you." She chuckled darkly. "It's ok, I'll tell you, Dash has decided to make me his mate and Luna of the park."
"No." I gasped making her smirk grow even more.
"That's right honey so I think it's high time you gave me some respect I will be taking care o your little bastard after all."
"Call my son names again and I swear I'll rip out your throat." I growled letting my anger get the best of me.
"What, he is a bastard, a fucking mistake." The words stabbed my heart like a dagger and I was about to pounce on her when Ericson appeared holding me back.
"Ro, she's not worth your energy." He whispered tightening his grip on my waist.
I took a few deep breaths and ensured I was calm enough before asking him to let go of me which he reluctantly did. Only less than an inch keeping us apart I grabbed Lucinda's arm making sure my nails made a mark on her skin.
"Next time you call my son a mistake will be your last." I spoke every word with promise and she shuddered a little. "I'll show you who Rosalie Blake really is and Dash, he won't say or do a bloody damn thing."
Pushing her away I stormed past Ericson and went to the balcony, I needed to be alone and get some fresh air.

Holding onto the golden rail I took a deep breath of the cool air with closed eyes. I needed to calm down and enjoy the night.
Finally calm I opened my eyes and they came in contact with the big red moon that outshone even the brightest stars in the sky.
"I hate you." I hissed at it like it was a person that could hear me. "Don't even look at me like that." Huffing I went back into the room and my gaze fell directly him but he was already staring at me with thirsty eyes.
Dash stood on the other end of the elegantly decorated hall dressed in a black tuxedo, crisp white shirt and bowtie, it was the attire most men had worn but damn it made him look like a juicy piece of well marinated steak. Unlike usual his hair was gelled stylishly making him look even hotter.
"Here you are." Ericson appeared infront blocking my view of the only man I ever admired in my life.
"Hey." I forced a smile.
"Are you ok?"
"It takes more than just Lucinda to make me angry." I chuckled. "But thanks for holding me back, I swear if you hadn't I was going to rip her throat out."
"You've become really aggressive now." He teased and I laughed.
"Can you blame me."
"Surely not." He shook his head. "Let's go to the bar."
"Sure." I took his hand which he had offered me.
Looking back I took a quick yet intense glace at Dash who was still standing where I had left him. He licked his lower lip and I swore I felt my arousal pool in my underwear.
Reluctantly walking away from the scene I could watch repeatedly of it where a movie, we reached the bar.
"I didn't know they had long queues in the restroom." A tipsy Penelope teased.
"You look so funny." I teased her back, she always looked funny when she got drunk especially since she wasn't strong when it came to alcohol.
"Come on baby, let's go." Shaun tried to whisper to Charlie but we heard him.
"Filthy rabbits." Ericson scoffed making me laugh.
"Go on but don't hurt the baby." I teased making Charlie's cheeks crimson red.
"We are off as well." Angelo helped Penelope to her feet. "See you in the morning."
"That's if y'all won't be exhausted." Martha wiggled her eyebrows at them.
Laughing the two couples left.
"To us single people." I giggled as we raised our shot of tequila and we clinked our glasses before downing the liquid.
"Let the real party begin!" Martha beamed downing 2 more shots in one go.
Laughing I mimicked her actions ignoring the burning sensation the liquor caused on my throat.
Deciding we had taken enough Martha left with some man she had been flirting with while I retired to my room with Ericson by my side, he had insisted on escorting me and I thought it was no problem but little did I know it was a huge problem.
Walking through the empty halls I looked out the window and saw the moon in all it's glory illuminating the dark night.
"I hate you." I whispered to myself.
"What was that?" Ericson asked his steps coming to a halt.
"Nothing." I shook my head. "Can you believe it, our generation actually got a chance to see the blood moon." I walked to the window with a smile.
The blood moon was said to appear only every after a thousand years.
"Yeah." I could feel his hot breath fanning my the back of my neck.
Turning around we stood inches apart and it felt so wrong. Ericson moved closer placing his one hand around my waist while the other caressed my face.
My body was on fire and I needed to get away from this man before I ended up regretting.
"Eric." I breathed out.
"Rosalie." His eyes stared deep into mine with adoration. His face inched closer and closer to mine.

In the five thousand years since the gods left, much has changed. Great wars were fought, Universities were built, civilizations were created. One thing remained after the gods' departure though, their powers. Today, the balance of crafting the three gods brought has shifted. The struggle for power that started long ago is coming to a defining moment. Plots of war and assassination are being weaved. Don't despair, for we may yet be saved from the disasters to come. Our hope lies in three young crafters. The first is William Divus, who sets out from his small village into the Dremshen Kingdom to study crafting after his father's passing. His questions about his father and his quest for knowledge drive him. Next comes Ehzahn Obasi, an Ex'olian thief with unparalleled skill. He has just achieved his lifelong dream, but he will soon learn how much he underestimated the fallout from his daring theft. The last is Ki Soru, the niece of a powerful duke.
