《The Last Lycan Alpha King》Chapter 27

Rosalie's POV.
"Ms Rosalie." I could hear someone calling my name but I was far too tired to get up and unlock the door.
Yes I had locked the door, so last night Dash and I had gotten into an argument so serious almost led to me lunging at him hence I had locked my door restricting my wolf from doing anything we would regret, I might have killed that creature but like it or not Dash was an alpha and more powerful than I was.
"Ms Rosalie!" The voice was louder and accompanied by a loud bang on the door.
"Ugh!" I groaned getting my body off the soft guest bedroom mattress and lazily dragging myself to the door. Taking deep breaths I slowly opened the pine door revealing the face of one of the servants of the house who by the way was slightly older than me and hated my guts.
"Yes." I groaned mentally face palming myself.
"Breakfast is ready and all are required to be present at the table." She spoke irritation clear in her tone.
"Alright, I'll be down in a few." I responded slamming the door in her face and heading to the bathroom.
Having brushed my teeth, hair and washed my face, I replaced my pyjamas with a pair of jeans and sweatshirt before going to the dining room where everyone except Dash was seated.
"Mummy." Cage run up to me and hugged my leg. "Morning."
"Morning baby." I smiled picking him up and taking a seat beside Martha who only talked to me after 2 days of finding out the whole truth.
"Morning." She mumbled.
"Morning Mars." I smiled placing Cage on the seat beside mine.
The servants served us and stood by. I was so hungry and the aroma of the food invaded my nose making my mouth water. Digging in I moaned at the divine taste.

Barely having eaten quarter of my food Dash walked in with the last person I ever thought.
"Hello everyone!" Lucinda Way, their family friend beamed clinging onto his arm.
"Oh my goodness." The grand Luna got up and pulled her into a quick hug.
"Hello aunt Eli." She smiled showing her perfectly alined pearl white teeth making the dimple on her left cheek come out.
Most people got up to greet her with a hug but I didn't bother.
"Come, join us." Grand luna Elizabeth made her sit beside Dash. "So tell me Lucinda, what have you been up too."
"Where to even start." She giggled taking a sip of her green tea. "I've been traveling a lot over the years, you know how hectic it can be as one of the highest paid models but I also finally got my medical degree."
"Wow, so you are now a model and doctor." She smiled.
"What do you expect she always did have a passion for both when she was only but a child." The grand alpha chimed in.
They kept going on and on about her and her achievement it was beginning to make me feel sick to my stomach and the fact that she kept holding onto Dash's hand every time she giggled made my blood boil.
"Mummy?" Cage called pulling me out of the trance I was in.
"Yes love." I looked down at him.
"Are you ok?" He whispered motioning to how tight I was gripping the cutlery in my hands.
I gave a nod and placed the fork and knife down, my knuckles had started turning white.
"If you say so." He shrugged turning back to his food.
After breakfast I took Cage off his seat and was about to leave the room when a call of my name stopped me.

"Rosalinda that's your name right?" Lucinda asked clearly getting it wrong on purpose.
"No, it's Rosalie." I spoke through clenched teeth, just the sound of her voice echoing through my ears made me angry.
"Oh yeah right, so you two are no longer together right?" She shifted her gaze from me to Dash then back to me.
"As you can see yes we are no longer together." I forced a smile.
"Thank goodness." She sighed with relief. "You two together was a disaster waiting to happen." She giggled.
"Speak for yourself." I retorted with a smirk. "If I remember correctly-"
"Luci meet Cage, my son." Dash chimed in sending me a warning glare that I gladly returned.
"Oh, you were serious" she looked at him with her emerald green eyes almost popping out of their sockets.
"Yes I was dead serious." He beckoned Cage over and my son giddily skipped over to him. Pulling him onto his lap he kissed his hair. "Morning champ."
"Good morning daddy." Cage's smile almost reached his ears as he stared at his father with so much love and adoration.
"Hello there." Lucinda eyed him carefully. "Are you sure he's yours, last I heard was she you know?" The words that slipped past her lips made me angry.
"Yes, I'm 100% sure." Dash's positive and overly confident response made a smile form on my lips.
"Doesn't their resemblance just tell you everything." Martha scoffed making Lucinda's gaze shift upon her.
"And who are you." She eyed her up and down with a disgusted expression on her face.
"A guest personally invited by the alpha himself." She smirked.
"Oh D, you still have a tendency of taking in even filthy strays." She cooed caressing the stubble forming on his jaw and cheeks.
I knew Martha was about to respond as she never backed down from a fight but I was quick to stop her with a gentle squeeze on the shoulder.
Sighing she let it go and stood up.
"Thank you for the breakfast alpha, it was lovely." She gave him a small forced smile.
"There's no need, how are your wounds?" He asked trying to sound as genuine as possible.
"They hurt less thanks to the meds Charlie prescribed for me." She explained and he gave a curt nod of acknowledgment.
"Cage baby." I called and he turned to face me. "Let's go."
"Where are you taking him?" Dash held onto him protectively and I smirked, poor alpha was still worried I would take Cage away, it was so funny.
"He needs to take his bath before you leave, he did mention you wanted to take him along on your trip to Darkmoon." I shrugged.
"Right." I could see him sigh with relief. Gently letting Cage down, he run up to me and I lifted him.
"We'll be leaving in an hour."
"He'll be ready before then." I smirked and turned to the exit with Martha hot on my heels.
Making Cage sit on his huge bed I walked into the bathroom and started the water.
"Who is that bitch." Martha who was seated on the grey marble countertop snarled.
"That's Lucinda Way, Dash's bloody ex-girlfriend."

Sod's Law (Dropped)
This fiction has been dropped, you're more than welcome to read it anyway (there is sort of an ending). But you have been warned... Sod's law is a more extreme version of Murphy's law. While Murphy's law says that anything that can go wrong, will go wrong (eventually), Sod's law requires that it always goes wrong with the worst possible outcome. For example, concepts such as "bad fortune will be tailored to the individual" and "good fortune will occur in spite of the individual's actions" are sometimes given as examples of Sod's law in action. This would broaden Sod's law to a general sense of being "mocked by fate". In these aspects it is similar to some definitions of irony, particularly the irony of fate. - Definitions of Sod's Law on Wikipedia. The protagonist, as many before them, and many who followed, thought they were just entering a VRMMORPG (Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing-Game). Unbeknownst to them however, was a short paragraph in the Terms & Conditions, that, upon agreement, would actually transport them to a fantasy world, loosely based on the game they thought they were entering. - Something anyone could be forgiven for, no-one reads them after all. In this new world, they discover that people are born with “Traits”, a System recognised, ability, skill, or talent, that they are born with. Sod's Law was not a trait they, or anyone else for that matter, would want. Pure madness follows. Yup, this is about a character transferred to a fantasy game-world with the worst luck imaginable. This is my first fiction so I apologise for any grammar and spelling mistakes that may be made. Hopefully it is readable, and if so please tell me! But if it's not, also tell me, but in a constructive way if at all possible? Due to the nature of the “Trait” the story will be dark in places, with plenty of gore and profanity, hence the tags. There may also be scenes of a sexual nature, but nothing full on – sorry guys but you'll have to go elsewhere for that.

Then, accidentally, she awakens an ancient android with no knowledge of herself, fueled only by the desire to destroy the fiends. So begins the intergalactic journey to find the Aigis and continue the androids mission, to complete Code Scarlet. ------------ A tail inspired by sci-fi fantasy settings like Star Wars and Destiny, with elements of Xenosaga and Mecha anime. It's a genre I'm definitely new in compared to my other works but am looking forward to exploring what this world would have to offer. Updates will be slow and inconsistent.
