Rosalie's POV
"No you listen alpha," I pushed him off leaving him utterly surprised. "Once Martha is better I will leave your damn pack and this time I'm taking my son with me."
In a blink of an eye I was slammed against the wall with Dash's hand tightly gripping my waist.
"You wouldn't bloody dare." He growled tightening his grip at each word.
"Then you don't know me alpha." I retorted confidently despite being unable to breathe.
Letting go of my neck he burst into a roar of mocking laugher.
"You really think my son will leave with you." He asked sarcastically.
"Yeah, he only knows one side of the story which is yours," I smacked his hand off. "Imagine what happens when he finds out how he was convinced."
Dash's facial expressions changed and it was my turn to smirk.
"Do you think he'll ever see you the same way if I tell him how you raped me mercilessly."
"Shut up!" He growled clenching his fists and jaw.
"Right you don't like being reminded of how you forced yourself on me while I practically begged-"
"I said shut the bloody hell!" He was now raging mad and I was filled with satisfaction.
"You stay out of my way and should you even once disturb me, all hell will break loose alpha."
Pushing past him I majestically walked out of the office into the hallway and back to Martha's room.
I felt so satisfied and proud of myself, never did I once bring up the topic of what had happened and used it against anyone especially Dash but today I was done being the bigger person, it was high time everyone who wronged me had a taste of their own bitter medicine starting from Dash.

Going back to the ward I sat and ate the food Shaun had brought. If I was going to carry out any of my plans then I needed to eat and have as much energy as I could.
"Hey." Penelope's voice came from behind me.
I was currently standing by the window and didn't hear the door open or close.
"Yes?" I turned facing her.
"H-How are you?" She took cautious steps towards me.
"I'm fine as you can see." I shrugged.
"Yeah well um-" she kept mumbling to herself.
"Did you come here for something?"
"No- I mean yeah, I'm glad you're back Rose." She spoke with a small yet genuine smile gracing her face.
"Is that all?" I crossed my arms over my chest.
"I-I-" she stuttered.
"If you have nothing else to tell me please leave."
She knew it was coming and instead of protesting she just sighed showing herself to the white door.
If I said the way I acted towards Charlie and Penelope didn't break my heart then I'd be lying, these two had been my family since I came here.
*Flashback*
12 year old me walked into the classroom clenching the straps of the backpack I carried.
It was my first day at Crystal waters Junior high and boy was I nervous, my first days had a tendency of always turning out worse than the previous.
"Hey." A faint yet loud enough voice snapped me out of my thoughts. Looking down I saw my son eying me curiously.
"Hello my baby." I pulled him onto my lap pecking his chubby cheeks.
"What were you thinking about?" He asked playing with the necklace I wore.
"Nothing, just how much I missed kissing these big cheeks of yours." I pecked him again and he laughed.

"I missed you too." He smiled. "So how was the business trip you went for?"
"Business trip?" I stared at him confused.
"Yeah, daddy said you went for one."
"Oh yeah, right, it was great." I lied going along with it. "How did you like staying with Daddy?"
I genuinely was curious as to know how Dash had treated our son regarding the fact that he was of my blood as well.
"It was amazing!" He squealed with a big smile almost reaching his ears. "We did so much together!"
"Really, why don't you tell me all about it."
We took a seat by the small couch on the window as he went on and on blabbering about how much things and fun he and his father had had together.
Dash's POV
I watched her walk away victoriously after threatening me, the alpha Dash Kingston and I could do absolutely nothing about it.
"You had it coming." Shaun shrugged making me glare at him.
"Not helping dude." Angelo hinted.
"He knows I'm right." He looked at me intensely.
"I didn't tell you two so you could scrutinize me." I hissed.
"What, you need help." He laughed sarcastically making me clench my jaw and fists.
If he continued with this attitude I swear I was going to punch the color out of him.
"Yes Shaun." I took a few deep breaths, I needed to be calm as I was the one asking for help. "Yes, I need your help to stop that bitch from taking my son."
"For starters stop calling her names." Angelo sighed at my foul language.
"Whatever." I rolled my eyes.
"This is serious Dash, she is no longer the weakling you knew her to be!" Shaun scolded. "She has bloody changed and you better take this seriously or you will be saying byebye to your dear son."

Nobody's Way
Foreign Thorn: Book 1 For eight centuries, the people of Isla have wanted for nothing. The Creator, Maere, uses Her power not only to keep them healthy and fed, but also to map the direction of each person's future Path - their vocation, role in society, and even the partner they'll spend their life with. In a world where infighting once threatened the very survival of humankind, the old texts say that Maere personally stepped in to help guide Her creations to harmony. All is not well among the people of the northern lands, however, as Jian discovers when she receives her own long-awaited Path. The Creator has chosen to favour some towns, but not others, leading to anarchy and unrest in the east, and fierce distrust between the neighbours who enjoy Her protection and those who don't. After many nights of disturbing premonitions, visions of a face uncannily familiar to her, and a voice beckoning her to "Homeland," Jian decides she needs to find answers for herself. She hires Madrigal, a surly young traveller hailing from an "unblessed" village, to take her to the southern lands. The swordsman is on the run from something, or someone, but Jian has no choice but to trust him. When the two leave the safety of the familiar and meet Quinn, a mysterious boy who seems to know more about Jian than she does about herself, it becomes clear that there are forces besides the old magics, forces completely unknown to the people of Isla, in play. Madrigal and Jian aren't sure if Quinn can be trusted, but they're certain he knows more than he's letting on...
