Rosalie's POV

I walked up with my body feeling really sore.

I slowly opened my eyes and squinted cause of the blinding light.

"She's awake" I heard a voice and when I looked it was Penelope.

"Omg girlie" Charlie pulled me into a tight hug.

"Uh" I groaned in pain

"Oh I'm so sorry" she apologized

"Its OK" I tried to sit up and Ericsson helped me. "Thanks"

"How are you feeling" Penelope looked at me with guilt and sadness.

"As good as new" I joked

"I'm really sorry" she sobbed and the events of the previous night came crushing in my head.

"Its OK, it wasn't your fault" I hugged her

"It was, I could have done more to stop him." She sobbed into my chest.

"Its OK I promise" I smiled

"I'm relieved you are awake." Charlie hugged me

"It takes more than one beta to get rid of me" I joked making them chuckle.

"I was so scared" Penelope hugged me.

"Where am I" I looked around

"Pack hospital" Ericsson told me

"Oh fuck" I groaned slapping myself mentally.

"What's wrong" Ericsson looked at me worried

"I need to go home right now" I tried getting off the bed.

"No you can you are still hurt" Ericsson held me down

"I need to leave right now"

"You are not OK Ro, you need to rest your arm." Charlie urged

"I don't care, I need to go home right now!!"

"OK fine but I'll take you" Charlie offered

"Its OK, I'll go on my own" I got off the bed and run out of the hospital.

As soon as I opened the closet door, Cage run and hugged me.

"Mummy" he hugged me tightly as he sobbed

"My love don't cry" I wiped his tears

"I was so scared" he hugged me tighter like I was going to leave or disappear

"I'm sorry my love but I'm right here OK" I kissed his forehead.

He looked up and studied me carefully.

"Mummy did they hurt you" he growled angrily

"I'm OK"

"No you're not" he hissed

"I really am OK baby" I pecked his cheek

"Sit, let me get you something to eat I bet you are hungry" I told him and walked into the kitchen but he kept following me everywhere I went the entire day.

Dash's POV

It's been an entire week since I saw her and I haven't been able to leave my room or eat anything just the thought of her being in my park disturbs me and her being my mate and luna of my park makes it far worse.

"Dash come out of there!" Dad yelled angrily for like the 100th time this week. "Stop acting like a fucking child, you are an alpha for Christ's sake!" He banged on the door.

"Dad stop talking to him like that, he'll never come out at this rate!" Penelope yelled agitated.

"Well I'm fucking tired of him acting like a stupid child-" he retorted then it him me, I saw the grey orbs come into picture in my head.

'That child' I whispered to myself and smiled.

I explained with a chuckle

I snapped at the thought of him wanting to see her again

he growled and blocked me out

I chuckled.

'OK Dash enough mopping over some stupid conniving slut, you need a fool proof plan to catch that child' I told myself and walked to my couch grabbing a pen and paper with me and I started raking my brain for the best methods I could use to catch that child.

If you asked me I don't know why I really needed to get that kid but I just did, I needed to get him, I felt obliged to it.

Finally after 2 days of raking my brain for the safest and best way I could catch that child that has been bothering my subconscious since I saw his eyes, I had come up with the perfect plan.

I got out of my room completely ignoring the people at my door and walked to the front door.

"Dash, come on Mann" Angelo pleaded as him, Penelope, Shaun, Ericsson and Charlie followed me.

"All of you stop following me and you better not cross my path or it

Will be the end of you" I commanded in my alpha voice and walked away.

"Alpha were were you??" Jack one of the kids I taught asked

"Non of your business" I replied trying to be as nice as I most possibly could. It was clear I was irritated and the slightest little thing or questions were putting me on the edge, I was a ticking bomb waiting to explode if you ask me

"50 laps around the field" I instructed

"But why" Heather pouted

"Because I'm alpha and you are still on punishment now do as told or I'll extend your punishment" I ordered and everyone started running around the field.

Its almost been an hour and I couldn't spot that kid and that made me feel disappointed.

'Why the fucking hell are you feeling disappointed' I scolded myself mentally not knowing why I cared.

"You all can go back inside" I told the kids and they let out breaths of relief before running to the pack house.

I was about to also go inside when I heard a scream coming from the woods, I rushed there and there he was, the little boy, I've been trying so hard to catch but can't seem to, I finally had him but his leg was caught in a bear trap.

"Please remove it, it hurt" he sobbed looking at the bear trap holding his slightly injured bleeding leg and my heart melted.

"I'm so sorry, are you ok" the words came out before I could even stop them making me curse under my breath. I removed his leg from the trap which of course I had not set, my trap was not at all harmful.

"Sit here" I put him down and offered to clean his wound but he refused "relax I won't hurt you" I smiled and he nodded before sitting.

"Thank you" the boy spoke in barely a whisper.

"You welcome, I'm Dash" I introduced myself as I cleaned the wound that was as bad and deep as I thought.

"Cage" He responded with a small smile.
