Within the dark study room, Tianhuo sat with his usual cold expressionless face.

Ruyi appeared from the shadows, feeling the chill from Tianhuo and quietly knelt on one knee,Met with brooding silence, the atmosphere chilled. Ruyi found a small amount of courage, spitting out softly,

"Will Master be going?"

A deep frown appeared on Tianhuo's face, his voice held a trace of impatience.

"...Not going."

"Not going where?"

Appearing from the back gardens through the sliding doors, Feiyun silently walked in, her slender figure found its way to Tianhuo's side. A large black Falcon perched on her shoulder only serving to complement her exotic aura.

'Wah...when did she- Ghost definitely a Ghost!'

Ruyi surrendered quietly in his heart which nearly lurched out his mouth. How could he a, Shadow guard, fail to notice her approaching.

Glancing towards Tianhuo, he saw a trace of surprise in his eyes which only meant that even Tianhuo did not sense her coming. Truly...their WangFei is truly an embodiment of mystery. Who was she truly? A young miss of a sheltered home should not have such prowess!

"Another banquet again?..one after the other. "

Feiyun sighed softly as she fed another treat to the bird upon her shoulder.

Tianhuo observed all this quietly, slowly taking in the scent unique to her, like the arrival of spring.

"Ruyi, how is that matter going along?"

Feiyun asked as she slowly released the Falcon to a separate bird stand.

"We have searched tirelessly but it seems that clues have led to houses and families that are on decline. However, when we approached them they seem that there was never a young daughter in that house."

Silent enveloped the room once again. 

Enough to make Ruyi feel his own heartbeat was thunderously loud. But just as he was about to speak up, Feiyun suddenly spoke, her voice filled with a tinge of mystery.

"Tianhuo, let's visit YueLiang Pavilion, the food there is unexpectedly nice!"

A small smile crept into Tianhuo's lips, reaching his eyes and dazzling Feiyun with his handsomeness. 

"Sure."

His smile alone even made Ruyi's legs went jelly, his mind thinking thanking god that those maidens who swoon over Tianhuo had not seen this unholy smile! Don't mention ladies, Ruyi was sure even manliest of man would definitely, without a doubt, for sure, put Tianhuo on their list! 

Truly what happened to the cold and cruel God of War whom face seemed to have been frozen like an ice-cube from the deepest part of the earth?

A small sigh quietly let Ruyi's mouth,

"Then...Should I get Old Zhao to prepare a carriage?"

Ruyi wanted to get out of this love-love atmosphere as soon as possible. If anything he should be happily cuddling with FeiAn, not watching these two love birds

"No need, we'll take our horse"

As she thought, riding together with Tianhuo was really soothing. His large frame wrapping around her gently while the view from atop a horse was different from the closed off carriage. 

This was much better she felt more 'free'.It was just that the bustling market immediately turned silent whenever they passed through. The people, upon seeing the cold blooded God of War, quickly tumbled to their knees in greeting, opening up a way like how Moses could split the red sea.

Feiyun could only chuckle internally.

'So this was why he always used the carriage...'

Their 'sightseeing' was cut short when a large red carriage blocked their way. Covered in pearls and ornaments that jingle and sway. The symbol of Xing Royalty placed directly on the side, so big that even a blind person would be able to see it.

Baifeng snorted arrogantly annoyed, stomping his hoof against the ground.

Tianhuo's eyes narrowed slightly,

'A royal carriage?'

Frowning deeply, Tianhuo stared at the curtains of the carriage. Mirth hidden in Feiyun's eyes as she tilted her head in silence, waiting for the other side to appear.

The people by the sides started whispering amongst themselves. Who didn't know that Tianhuo has never once given face to even his father the Emperor, what more a royal carriage that might be carrying some no name person.

Yet their thoughts were refuted when a slender figure stepped out from the carriage.

Her body carrying the aura of a warrior, slightly tanned skin and toned body. Layered under fur and leather. With an eagle shape crown and sharp domineering eyes.

One look and you would know that this was definitely the domineering Princess of the Long Clan but to think she dared to block the way of the 2 most dangerous people in the capital.

Long Lishi's eyes never once left Tianhuo when she arrived, the fierceness in her eyes dissipating slightly.

But when she saw the woman sitting snugly against his chest, she couldn't help but narrow her eyes. A cold smile floating to her lips,

"Tianhuo, it's been awhile."

'T-t-t-tianhuo??!!'

The crowd trembled in shock. Aside from the Princess Consort, no one dared speak his name so casually.

Tianhuo's frown deepened, his lips pressed tightly as he pulled on Baifeng's rein, wanting to leave.

"Leaving just like this? Is that how you treat the one who... saved your life before?"

The gathered crowd could only gossip in the softest whisper around. Trying to contain their reactions but only 3 people stood around with not a single change on their face.

Towards her words, Tianhuo simply didn't care or react. Feiyun on the other hand didn't miss the bloodlust when the lady stared at her before.

Feiyun's once smiling face sinking colder and colder, her smile never reaching her eyes. A slight frown appearing ever so slightly on her face, hidden behind the half mask she had on.

Seeing that she managed to stop Tianhuo from leaving, Long Lishi smirked, of course he still remembers her.

Slowly, she walked towards the white steed, it's eyes carefully observing her.

The Eunuch by the side of the carriage dripping buckets of sweat, heart pounding hard as he saw that the Long Princess wanted to approach TianHuo. How could he not know Tianhuo's temper?

The Emperor had ask to escort and 'observe' the Long Princess should any trouble arrive, won't it be his head that rolls?!

"Long Princess, please wai-"

Before he could stop Long Lishi from reaching out her hand, Feiyun had already done the job.

The flat side of a cold sharp blade appeared in the path of Long Lishi's hand, stopping her hand from proceeding further.

Long Lishi narrowed her eyes, a strong amount of bloodlust emitting towards the lady who stopped her. Her eyes glancing down towards the sharp blade and then back to Feiyun's cold eyes.

No one knew when but 10 really muscular and big man had appeared and surrounded them in a semi circle leaving no way out, standing at the ready with weapons drawn.

Everyone held their breaths. Tension in the air drawn taut like a bow's string.

Long Lishi arrogant voice held a trace of impatience and arrogance, as she narrowed her eyes at the foolish woman. As the feared Princess of the Long Clan, who ever dared to disrespect her like this?

"What is the meaning of this? Do you not know who I am? You are courting death.."

A smirk appeared on Feiyun's cherry lips, how many times had she heard this phrase ' not know who I am'?

"Death? Country bumpkins should know their place. You should thanking me, otherwise that hand of yours would no longer be attached to that body."

Frowning slightly, Long Lishi caught sight of the several figure behind Tianhuo, by no means were they ordinary people. Hidden well within the crowd and shadow their killing intent were seeping out through the pores of their body.

But Feiyun herself also caught sight of something that peaked her interest, her cherry lips curling up ever so slightly.

"Is this how you treat your benefec-"

Before Long Lishi could finish her sentence to Tianhuo, the silent man finally opened his mouth, his voice tainted with great distaste,

"If you treasure your life than don't show yourself in front of me ever again."

Having said that, he pulled slightly on the reins and the couple began walking away.

Long Lishi could only stand there with a frown on her face, her blood pressure rising.

"Hmp!"

With a sweep of her head she quickly boarded the carriage once again, one called her a country bumpkin and the other blatantly left no 'face' for her in front of all these people all because of a single woman, as the daughter of the Long Clan there's no way she would forgive this!

Inside the carriage, a deep frown appeared on Long Lishi's face, her teeth clenched in jealousy rage, her eyes clouded with anger.

'If words won't work then...Hmp! Just wait and see!'

After having walked some distance, Tianhuo seemed to feel that Feiyun had gotten really quiet. Tightening his arms around her, he rest his head lightly upon her right shoulder, his breath ticklish as he spoke

"...Jealous?"

Because Feiyun was sitting in front, she couldn't see the small smirk that crept onto his face. She merely responded as though she didn't hear his question.

"Don't you think those big warrior guys surrounding her looks familiar?"

Having swiftly changed the topic, Feiyun glanced back to see Tianhuo seriously trying to recall those red haired burly men with a small crease upon his peerless face,

"Those fiery red hair and tattoos... the WangHu Warrior Tribe? "

Tianhuo replied slowly, prompting Feiyun to continue, 

"But that couldn't be right... The WangHu Warrior Tribe had been wiped clean and destroyed and those that had been captured mostly killed themselves while others that managed to escape and then they disappeared into thin air. "

Not to mention, bathing in blood, slaughter and skirmishes where their pride, the strong eat the weak. That was the Long clan, never interested in slavery or bribes or 'talks' they only know to speak with their fists.

"Mhm...I can't be completely sure about this but for now, we should keep FeiXu away from this matter. I can just imagine the uncontrollable rage she would fly into not to mention... that women is clearly hostile,I'm not sadistic enough to watch her kill her own kin."
