Ace and Cameron have finally arrived and it seemed that everyone else had been waiting for them.

They were all gathered in the living room once again but this time they all hoped for good news.

" How did it go?" Ray asked.

He seemed the most eager to know out of everyone.

" We'll you want the good news or bad news first?" Cam asked.

" Bad news." Ava says scooting over to Ray.

They fall silent waiting for Cameron to tell them what the bad news was.

" Well, we contacted Ivan, and it seems that he is only staying 20 minutes away from our current location." Cameron states.

Everyone grows silent as they take in what Cameron just told them.

" I thought we checked everyone in our neighborhood and area, we even did backgrounds, how did we not catch him?" Chris asked.

" The person working for him must have a very clean background or he came after we got done checking everyone. But all I know is that we need to get the fuck out of here. It's getting too dangerous and Ivan is too close." Cam says.

" What's the good news?" This time it was Farah that asked.

" Well, we convinced him to meet with Ace but I'll be on his terms. He also wants Ace to come alone." He says.

" We aren't actually going to let him go alone right?" Farah says.

" Of course not. Like I promised he will be having reinforcements including me. We just have to make sure we are not caught. But it's most likely that Ivan will have his people there with him so we all have to be careful."

" You said we have to leave, how will I be able to attend school? There's only two more months left until I start Uni." Ava asks.

Cam doesn't look her in the eyes not wanting to disappoint Ava. He knew how hard she had fought to get into the school. He couldn't ask her to give up her dreams and it was too late to sign up for online classes.

" Farah and Chris will attend classes with you." Cam says.

Chris immediately looks up at him surprised by this.

" This is not what I signed up for." Chris whispered to himself which earned him a smack from Farah.

"You'll be watched and protected at all times. And any friends you make will have to be searched and their background needs to be clean." Cam states.

Ava nods and scoots closer to Ray both holding hands.

Chris's eyes momentarily lingered on Ava and Rays attached hands before looking back up. His face now held a small frown.

" When will you guys be meeting?" Ava asked.

" Tomorrow night. He wants to meet at an alley. It isn't convenient but we need him to think that he can trust Ace."

They all nod. " Are we going to have a safe house?" Ray asked.

Ace nodded. " I have a safe house on the upper side of New York. It's safe and well guarded." Ace said.

Ray nodded. It seems that the tension between the two was still very thick. They had only interacted two times but both times were awkward.

"That's all the information we have right now. I don't know when we'll be moving to the safe house but I recommend you start packing. I'll be going back to the office to see if there's anything new."

Once cam left the others spread themselves out in the house.

Both Farah and Ava decided to cook something to kill time.

" Before we start cooking I wanted to ask what food you aren't allowed to eat. I don't want to cook something you can't eat." Ava asked Farah.

Farah smiled softly at Ava. She loved when people were considerate and asked about things like this. It made her feel better about what she was consuming and more comfortable around the person.

" Well I'm allowed to eat lamb, beef, goat, chicken, veggies,and grains. But show me what you want to cook and I'll tell you if I can say or not." She says.

Ava loved having another woman around the house. She never got to experience girl talk or womanly love. Especially from her so-called mother.

She'd always felt lonely but having Farah around really lifted her mood.

They both decided on making some fried chicken and French fries with a fruit salad.

" Do I smell food?" Chris yelled from across the room.

" Shut up if you're not helping you're not eating." Farah yelled back.

" You're so mean to me. You bruise my ego." Chris mopped while walking in the kitchen.

" What, I bruised your ego? You peaked in highschool I'm sure I only scratched that ego of yours." Farah responded.

Chris chuckled, walking up to the fires to take one.

" You take one right now and that'll be the only thing you'll be eating for the rest of the night." Farah said in a strict tone.

Chris still ate the fry sticking his tongue out at her.

Just then her phone rang. " It's my husband, I'll be right back." She said,

" And Ava don't feed Chris any fries."

She scolded before walking out.

Ava chuckled at this but continued cooking as Chris looked at her. He seemed he analyzing her which made Ava a bit uncomfortable.

" Are going to keep staring?" She says finally breaking the silence.

" I'm just trying to figure you out, most people would be shaking and crying right about now. I mean I'm glad that your okay." He states taking another fry.

" But you do have a mafia boss after you."

Ava frowns and looks up at Chris.

" No offense but you don't know me. I know that I have a mafia after me and I'm holding up just fine with the help of Ray and my brother." She says.

" Yeah about Ray. Are you guys dating?" He asks.

" Why do you want to know?" Ava replied.

" I don't just curious. Just you know right now doesn't really seem like the time to fall in love and such." He says.

" Feels like you're trying to convince yourself more than me." She stated.

Chris's face immediately grows red.

" What are you talking about?" He asks.

Ava gave him a dead look before answering him.

" You practically eye fuck my brother every time he talks or does anything." She says.

She didn't believe that Chris's cheeks could grow more red but it did by the minute. " I don't like your brother." He says.

" Really? Okay." She mused.

" Yeah I'm gonna go." He says before running out of the kitchen.

She laughed at herself and started setting up the table. Farah walked back in and started helping her.

" We're Chris?" Farah asked.

" Oh he had a little realization and decided to go outside for some fresh air. He's on the balcony." She assured Farah.

They finished starting everything up and they all gathered to eat.

Once everyone was done Ace told Ava he was going to wash the dishes since Farah and her did all the cooking and of course he forced Chris and Ray to join him.

It was getting late and Ava was ready to head to bed. She started getting ready for bed putting her hair and two braids in her bonnet. Then changing into her pajamas.

She heard a knock on her door and went to open it.

" Oh, Ray what's up?" She asked, letting him in.

He sat on her bed getting comfortable. He already had on his pajamas and looked like he was ready to sleep.

Ava gave him a confused look when he got under the covers and patted the bed for her to get in.

" What are you doing?" She asked in an amused tone.

" I'm going to bed, what does it look like I'm doing?" He said.

" You're going to bed in my bed?" She asked, sitting down on her bed.

" What, I thought you never wanted me to leave?" He teases.

Ava rolled her eyes but still she got comfortable and cuddled Ray.

" You feel so warm." She says.

" I'd feel even better inside you." He whispered in Ava's ear.

She turned to look at him.

" Don't start something you won't be able to finish." She whispered to him.

" I'd be more than happy to show you just how well I can finish."

Ava's felt flustered and turned around her back facing Ray's chest.

" Let's talk about this later,I'm tired." She says.

Even though her heart was beating abnormally fast.

" Whatever you want." Ray whispered pulling her closer to him and kissing her forehead.
