《My Beloved Mate》Extra II: Play Date

💚
Walking into the living room and swing my one-year-olds playing is one of the happiest moments of my life. I smiled and walked towards them. Josiah turned to me with a smile and then Jedi looked at his brother and when I was close enough, he turned around too. Josiah was an Alpha and Jedi was a Beta, which is amazing because they would make an amazing team while leading the pack.
I leaned down and picked them both up. "I missed my babies!" I yelled and hugged them tightly. Jedi liked to cuddle but Josiah hates it, he'd rather play rough than to hug me or Zechariah. "Were you nice to Daddy?" I asked them as they babbled.
They had recently started saying Daddy and Pa, I was Pa, and Zechariah was Daddy. We didn't teach them to call us those but they did it themselves. My boys were very smart. "Pa, Pa, Pa!" Josiah yelled as he wiggled in my arms wanting to be let down.
"Okay, okay." I chuckled as I carefully let him down on the floor so he crawl towards the soccer ball. "You love Papa more right?"
Jedi said some gibberish and I nodded, taking it as a yes. I walked towards the bathroom and cleaned myself with Jedi on my hip. He giggled with water splashed on him a little. I laughed hearing. Walking back, I saw Zechariah feeding Josiah, and when he saw he smiled and walked over to hand me a bottle. Which I gave to Jedi so he can feed himself. I laid him down on the couch next to Josiah and he didn't say a thing. "Welcome home." Zechariah smiled and kissed.
I kissed him back and sighed. "It's good to be back." I wrapped my arms around him and leaned in. "I missed you." I felt Zechariah shift and wrap his arms around me.

"Yeah, I did too," Zechariah whispered in my ear making me shiver. He laughed when he noticed.
"You're a tease, honey." I hit his arm and pulled away. Right then, my phone rang. I quickly went to pick it up so it won't wake up the twins because they were dosing off. "Hello?"
"Lionel," I heard Casey's voice.
"Casey, what's up?" I smiled as I turned to Zechariah and smiled.
"Nothing just wanted to know if you and the twins were willing to hang out with me and Rehan this weekend? Oh, Hikaru is coming too." He asked.
"Yeah, sure." I smiled and nodded. "It's just us three and the kids?"
"Yep, a play date, if you will." Casey joked and laughed.
"Okay, see you this Saturday. I'll get Nichole with me since Parker has worked." I answered since I didn't have work and it was good to see my friends once in a while.
"Sounds good, bye!" I hung up the phone and turned to Zechariah.
"The twins and I have a play date this Saturday." I smiled when he nodded.
"Yeah," he sighed and walked over to me and pulled me into a hug. "I have work, and then have a meeting with the other packs."
"Have fun," I laughed as I patted his shoulders.
Sometimes he acted like a big baby, so I was tasing three children instead of two. It was okay though, I liked to spoil him sometimes, as he did to me. "I will have my fun right now," he smirked as he pulled me to the bedroom.
"The twins-" I was cut if as he kissed me.
"I made sure they were okay, and asleep." He answered as she pulled my shirt off.
"Good," I smiled and quickly took his off as well. We had to learn to work around the twins' sleeping schedule.

~••••~
The play date was set to be at Casey's house since his mate/husband would be away and we had the house to ourselves. "Oh my god! They've grown already." Hikaru came over and picked up Josiah. "It's only been three months since I last saw them."
"Babies grow faster." Casey laughed and put Rehan in a chair.
"How have been motherhood been?" I asked Nichole and she sighed
"You already know that and you have two of them," Nichole responded.
"So, anyone yet?" Casey asked Hikaru. This made Hikaru stop looking at the children and lookup.
"Nope!" He answered enthusiastically. "And I don't want to go find someone."
"You already have someone?" I asked trying to pry some information out of him because he's been so secretive.
"No," he rolled his eyes. "I don't have anyone, and I don't want anyone right now. I am good and trying to get used to the 21st century."
"I mean, good for you. If you find someone, let us know." I winked at him making him blush.
"Never, you guys would just tease me about it." He rolled his eyes and went back to playing with the kids. "Isn't that Beta joining us?"
"Nope, he has a date with Kian and I think his parents are babysitting," Casey answered. "It's nice to be alone sometimes but I miss my baby too much."
"I know what you mean." I sighed thinking about the time where Zechariah's parents were babysitting the twins so we could have some alone time and maybe go on a date but halfway through, I couldn't handle being apart from them and we went back, and stayed with his parents for the rest of the date. "My attachment to the twins is just..."
"Hmm, it's a werewolf mother kind of thing," Casey replied. "By the time they are three or four, we won't feel strongly attached to them as we do right now."
"Damn, having children seems hard," Hikaru interjected.
"You have no clue. It's especially hard when you have to push them out." Nichole replies she took the baby girl and fed her with her baby bottle. I nodded with her, except I didn't push them out, thank god.
"Any news on anyone's end?" Hikaru asked.
"Well," Casey stood up. "I'm three weeks in."
"What!" I yelled, startling the children in the room. "Oh my god! Congrats!"
"Thank you," he smiled and rubbed his nonexistent bump.
"The thing is, I might be next at the rate we are going." I chuckled.
"Damn, I see you." Nichole teased.
"Did anyone bring any drinks to celebrate?" Hikaru asked and Nichole nodded.
"Sparking water and champagne for Hikaru cause he doesn't have children k worry about," Nichole answered as she took two bottles of the basket.
"Just the one I like!" Hikaru smiled and hugged Nichole carefully.
"To having family and new life!" I raised the toast as we poured in the drinks.
"To a better and new life." Hikaru joined.
The rest of the day was watching the kids play, planning about future kids, and all the other nonsense that friends talk about.
