Back at the imperial palace, Jiang had stepped out of the fairytale palace to meet with the person that requested for his audience because the emperor had prohibited anyone that doesn't belong to the fairytale phoenix palace from setting foot inside.

Fang Mu who was gazing intently into the distance suddenly turned to face the entrance of the fairytale phoenix palace when he heard approaching footsteps

Jiang to his surprised saw Fang Mu standing in front of his dwelling in all his handsome glory, he was dressed in a plain white robe and around his waist was a black belt that matched with his black boots, it was such a casual outfit but it suited his personality well.

Jiang stared at him intently, maybe with a bit of hostility, he didn't feel like seeing this person, he, in fact, wasn't in the right frame of mind to see anyone that will bring his spirit down moreover seeing people that belonged in the emperor's circle just made him unnaturally uneasy, it was like they were always out to get it.

Jiang not so long ago concluded that there was no way he would have still been alive and even given such a prestigious dwelling place if Jun Tang had exposed his secrets so maybe he has been too paranoid and could still hide in the palace a bit more but that didn't mean he could suddenly feel relax in the palace since this was the territory of his father's enemy.

Fang Mu sized Jiang up from head to toe, he too could notice that the young mistress has changed a lot in these days that she was away from the imperial palace, her countenance was different, even those bright eyes that sparkled seem to have lost its luster, it glowed no more, also her naivety and innocence though not lost had been suppressed, she didn't bow like she had first done when they met, she didn't demean herself as she spoke, instead the young mistress in his presence now seem to even carry a very tiny bit of that majestic might the emperor had, this kind of attitude Fang Mu liked it along.

Fang Mu had this notion.

Jiang each word was said with a kind of mockery and spitefulness that Fang Mu had never witness and this made Fang Mu ever more curious as to what the emperor must have done when he was away from the palace as Jun Tang.

Fang Mu was no fool, he knew something must have happened with the empress elect and the emperor when both of them where absent from the imperial palace and it also seems like the emperor had done something wrong hence his always sad eyes since he came back and his fear of coming to see or summon the empress elect since she returned.

Fang Mu had a plan to bring this two people together since this was the first time his friend has genuinely liked someone he had to play cupid for him, it's been looking since he acted all mischievous so he kind of felt fire up for this new mission that no one assigned him to undertake.

Fang Mu smiled charmingly despite been scorned at.

Fang Mu began to chuckle at that.

He understood what Jiang had meant by his earlier statement even if it sounded so cryptic hence his laughter, what had been said wasn't necessarily funny but the way it was been said and implied made it funny.

What Jiang had meant was that the good news could only be good for himself if the emperor didn't plan on hurting him again while if he did then it was good news for the emperor and his underlings since he could finally be rid of a thorn in his flesh.

Fang Mu found this funny since it wasn't his reason for coming over.

Fang Mu continuous laughter made Jiang impatient, he couldn't hold the rage boiling inside of him anymore because each time Jiang stamp his feet on the ground and shout out an orderwhen he realized that he had just acted out of character and had yet again let his stupid childish side slip out, Jiang got even angrier, red veins popped out of his forehead as he viciously glared at Fang Mu.

He was basically transferring aggression, since he came back to the imperial palace Jiang had felt his suffocated and heavy in his chest, he wanted to scold someone, scream, curse out loud in other to relieve this ache he was feeling but there was no good candidate that could take on his rage, this had also contributed to his sleepless night.

it will be better if the person he was taking out his frustration on was Jun Tang but the Fang Mu before him, who also due to his relationship with the emperor was in a way a part of the royal family like Jun Tang wasn't a bad candidate to take on his rage.

Fang Mu had indeed stopped laughing went straight to the point, he didn't want this wounded tigress to claw him to death Fang smiled, he didn't know why he was in such a good mood today, he just knew that he liked teasing the empress elect and loves seeing her eyes flash fiercely, that flash of pink that always seem to appear in her iris when she is riled up makes her eyes so captivating.

Jiang huffed, they probably planned to off him silently when he went over, Jiang added to his statement to show his determination

Fang Mu watched as the young mistress eyed him skeptically.

All he could see was her eyes since her face was still covered behind a veil but those eyes where so expressive and captivating, he really liked looking into her eyes "Empress elect, you have been cooped in the fairytale phoenix palace for a while now so how about I take you sightseeing around the imperial palace and during that time you can make your decision" Jiang knew he was right, he wanted to stretch his legs a bit, moreover he hasn't seen quarter of the palace and this was a good chance thus his reluctant approval.

Fang Mu took Jiang to different places in the palace but Jiang's mind wasn't really there so he couldn't enjoy himself.

Fang Mu didn't like this, his heartfelt restless and he really wanted the empress elect to enjoy their outing even if that wasn't his initial reason for offering to take her out.

He finally decided to take Jiang to a place not too far from his fairytale phoenix palace, when Jiang saw the huge shining dwelling that was a few feet above ground he had to chock back the blood that was threatening to come out Jiang huge puppy dog eyes made a smile form on Fang Mu face, his heartbeat seems to have accelerated too.

Since they started walking they had passed a whole lot of beautiful scenery but Jiang didn't have much reaction and this dampen Fang Mu's great but now seeing Jiang like this made him feel bubbly inside, it was like he had achieved something truly great.

Although Fang Mu's main aim for wanting to show Jiang around the palace was to tease the emperor and get him to show his true feelings for his empress elect, which by the way seem to be working perfectly since his friend didn't bother hiding the fact that he had been stalking them and giving off a baleful aura all directed at Fang Mu but he didn't care because he was having the time of his life, he and the empress elect didn't talk but he enjoyed her company nevertheless.

Fang Mu had earlier purposely passed where he knew the emperor will be at this time of the day and this led to the emperor following them silently from behind.

At some point Fang Mu will pretend to be dusting imaginary dirt from Jiang's shoulder which Jiang didn't like very much, then he went on to cut different flowers for Jiang, Jiang refused to accept at first but was forced to due to Fang Mu annoying insistent.

Fang Mu went on to making Jiang take the snacks he had gotten, he even attempted to feed Jiang if not that Jiang smacked his hand away but this only mad Fang Mu laugh joyously.

Every of Fang Mu's close contact with his Jiang angered the emperor to the point of him seeing double, he had never eaten so much vinegar in one day like this, it was a tremendous amount of vinegar.

Just the other day the emperor had gotten wind of some fairytale phoenix palace maids wanting to bath Jiang, his precious Jiang's body was only to be seen by him, who gave those maids the right to want to see it, he had driven them out of the palace after teaching them a good lesson, they were just lucky that Jiang had rejected their offer to bath him because if he didn't they the emperor didn't think he could spare their lives, he did make sure to plug out their eyes before ending their miserable life if that happens, Maybe he will have to also teach Fang Mu a lesson for him to know his place and take his eyes off his property.

Emperor Qin Jie Huang would have since lost his temper and moved in to strangle this stupid Fang Mu if not for the fact that Fang Mu had the sense to take his Jiang to this special place.
