How could they just let the man walk in without trying to regain some of the faces they have lost, although they had wiped the dust away from their bodies, passersby saw that it was caused by this man and the Lei manor was one that was known for punishing people who even committed a lesser crime.

As the man stopped walking and turned back, he didn't bother replying to the questions the guard had asked and just immediately showed hostility towards them by his actions.

He threw the golden scroll towards the direction of the first guard, the speed of the scroll was slow and it seemed to be something they could easily catch but as it approached the first guard who had his hands outstretched to receive it, the scroll barely made contact with him before he was pushed back a few feet from his previous point, the scroll moved on its own with just a swing of the man's fingers and it went around wiping the asses of every guard on duty that day.

He viewed his handiwork one last time and a smirk formed on his lips, seeing the guards of the Lei manor in a messed-up state gave him Joy, some guards were even hanging upside down on the top of a trees and their armors were broken, they had blood dripping from different parts of their body while some had broken into the structures of stalls on the road, it was a funny sight.

Although passersby didn't stand by to watch the show, it didn't mean they didn't see what had just happened, soon all of Yin province will be filled with the news.

He remembered what was said to him before he left yang province "Lu Han when you go over to the Lei's manor, you don't have to be too cautious" the emperor's words might have sounded nonchalant but it had a deeper and stronger meaning to it so it was not difficult to decipher the message within.

Seeing this scroll in Tang Qin Shang was paramount to seeing the emperor hence the reason for his actions.

Lu Han was not in a hurry to read out what was on the scroll yet, especially since everyone but himself had to continue kneeling until he is done reading the scroll.

Truth be told, normally when this scroll is sent out by the emperor the carrier of the scroll usually does not need to read out the words written on the scroll since the mighty, sexy and awe-inspiring voice of the emperor will on it's own voice out the words written on the scroll but this time around the emperor made an exception and didn't bother going through the trouble.

Frankly speaking, whenever a house in Tang Qin Shang receives this scroll, they take it as an honor especially if they are certain it isn't bearing death as it comes.

Once his mission was accomplished, Lu Han walked out courageously, jumped on his flying scaled bull and the left the premises of the Lei's manor with all eyes on him.

It was then that the residence of the Lei manor began to stand up from their kneeling position, Lei Yue ran to General Lei's side he handed it to her and she stared at it like it was the most precious thing she had ever laid her eyes on.

Lei Yue asked but her question was thoroughly ignored.

Lei Chow snickered after envisioning what will happen to that illegitimate boy by the time this comes to light.

General was having a headache, since his daughter returned all she talked about was taking back her title but he was more worried about keeping his head, although they had given him a reason why he didn't need to be too cautious with the emperor but he could never be certain if them going to take back the title for his daughter was a good idea.

As time went on he began to see reasons with them, there was nothing to worry about according to what his wife had spoken of a few days back, also this was his chance to get a piece of the throne as he had always wanted, If his daughter could indeed hold the position of empress elect until the better end and then come out on top as the true empress then their status will in one night skyrocket into that of royalty.

Just thinking about such a day made his eyes shine with greed, every single doubt and fear he had about the emperor's true intentions for inviting them specially evaporated instead he even began to think that sending the trashy child to the palace helped him taste the waters, since the emperor didn't cause any much harm to the child that was presumed to be his precious daughter then he certainly won't harm his real daughter too.
